Despite living around the corner for several years, we just recently tried Thai Inbox and I regret having waited so long to do so. Being it my first time in trying Thai, I was stunned with the freshness and quality of the food - especially the rangoons, which were cooked to golden brown perfection and had just the right amount of filling. All main dishes were overwhelming in their brilliant mix of flavors and plated very neatly. The Pad Thai was particularly outstanding. This review applies to Thai Inbox's delivery services (through ChowNow). I regularly have Thai Inbox delivered to my place of business in Skokie. The delivery has always been prompt (if not early), the food hot & fresh, and the quality excellent. I love their pad siew with chicken (always has lots of egg, delicious sauce, and crisp broccoli that is never overcooked) and their green curry with tofu (eggplant! yes!!!). The spice-level is always to my liking. My coworkers also enjoy their basil leaves w/ ground chicken, pad thai, and vegetarian dishes. This is my second time having Thai Inbox. I was first introduced to this restaurant by a friend of mine who loves Thai food and loves to try different restaurants. It was good the first time and it was just as good today. I ordered their lunch special pad kee mao with chicken, basil fried rice with beef and no pineapple, and chicken potstickers. The lunch special came with a veggie egg roll and a drink. Both entrees had a chili pepper image on the menu identifying that it would be a spicier dish than the other menu items, but it definitely was not. At least not for my south East Asian taste buds. I probably should have asked to make it more spicy, but I managed with my bottle of sriracha sauce. The pot stickers were nice and crunchy! They were able to hold the crunch because of the cutouts in the to-go box so the steam wouldn't soften them. The price point for what you get is reasonable and worth it. read more

My favorite thai to go place!! Good quality, fast service, tons of menu w/ reasonable price! I love Pad Thai w/ Shrimp here. Unlike other place, it's not too sweet or too ketchupy. Pad Prik and Basil Leave Dish have lots of vegetables. Love them!! I don't like Tom Yum Noodle Soup. I liked the fact they separate noodle and soup so that the noodle would not be too soften, but the soup was too sweet w/ ground chicken and only bean sprout. I wish they have seafood version of Tom yum noodle soup. Also, it would be nice if it has cilantro for adding some color and flavor. Ordering by phone isn't very hard, but I would highly hope that they will start accepting online order soon by either yelp or their website. This is the reason of 4 stars. This probably is the best Thai I've come across. The beef panang curry is delicious along with the Pad Thai lunch special. It's a great deal and comes with a drink and egg roll. This is our go-to for Thai food on the North Shore. Used to be Cozy Noodle. We like both locations, but we prefer the Skokie location better than Glenview location. Food just tastes slightly better more consistently. Not sure why. I believe it's the same management. read more

They are now located across the street where they used to only have a small carry-out joint and now they are where the Love's Yogurt used to be in the Wilmette Plaza. It's very nicely done and decorated and spacious. The service was about average and the waitress was pleasant. I like that it's just around the corner from me so very convenient to pick or eat out and I've done both. I usually have their pad thai, lard nar, pad see eiw and massaman curry and they are always very good, but this time I also tried their beef salad which had a nice sweet and sour kick to it and I liked how they serve jumbo shrimp with their dishes when you choose shrimp instead of the smaller versions so this is nice. read more

This review is for take out only. I was in the Old Orchard region and craving some pad kee mao, bad. This place came up on yelp as very close by but was only 3.5 stars overall. I contemplated whether it was worth a try and decided to give it a go since I had to be in the area for a few more hours. Cost? A little pricey for Thai food. I was also concerned when the lady who took my order said it would be ready to picked up in 5 minutes. And yes, it literally was packed up and ready in 5 minutes. At this point, I was pretty sure it was microwaved old food. But to my surprise, the pad kee mao was surprisingly tasty. I'm not sure that I'd come back for dinner, but I'd be willing to try a lunch special. That's unlikely though as I don't work in the area. If you're trapped in the Old Orchard area and have a major hankering for Thai food, this place will do the trick. read more
