Crying Tiger Surf & Turf

The steak was perfectly cooked, and tender. It's got a slight teriyaki typeglaze on it with the spicy lime dressing on the side. That dressing is amazing and I kind of wish they had brushed that on the steak when grilling it. Maybe I'll ask them to do that next time. The shrimp were perfectly grilled. Very tasty! This definitely worth the price. Probably the most delicious, tender, ribeye you will get in Santee for $23!

One of the best authentic tasting Thai places in the middle of nowhere. We ordered a whole bunch to share. They brought plates without us asking. Beer is cheap! Domestic and even imported. Try the singha, it's their national beer. Highly recommend the Tom yum soup, the papaya salad, the basil eggplant and the fried tilapia with 3 sauces. Everything was fresh and delicious!

Don't judge a book by its cover. Does need a little refresh outside and then however the food and service were fantastic and I only ordered appetizers. Cannot wait to go back for an entrée. This will definitely be one of my go to recently relocating to the area. I had the basil eggrolls, crab ragoons (as always, no matter where you go less Wonton more filling) and the chicken satay. The peanut sauce was the best I ever had. Will be back

Delicious food. The restaurant is not fancy but we were so impressed with the food. We shared the tom yum soup and the vegetable green curry. The Tom Yum soup was so outstanding I would go back just for that. The service was great and friendly. We had come in twenty minutes before they closed for the night but still they were so welcoming and didn't not rush us at all. We stopped in there while driving north and I hope to stop there again when we are driving back home.

These were absolutely delicious!

My personal preference for eating out is coming here. I have tried just about the entire menu and haven't found a dish I didn't like so far. The service folks, Nong and Rachel, are very keen on getting the food out ASAP, and the kitchen cooks up the best food in my opinion. I also like the seating that is available, and I love sitting at the little bar when these seats are available.

Excellent food and very quick service. We really enjoyed our meal and found the entrees, specialties, and appetizers to all be very tasty and well presented. The restaurant is small but well appointed and made for a relaxed dining experience. They are typically closed between 3 and 4 so it took a couple of tries to get the timing right but it was well worth the effort. Shown is the Larb Mu (pork salad). It was fabulous.

Eggplant stir fry with tofu

This was an unexpected find while traveling. I arrived at 4:55pm and there was only one other car in the parking lot so I was apprehensive about dining there but so glad I tried it! By 5:15 the restaurant was packed and the service and food was delicious. I started with jasmine tea and fresh rolls with tofu-yum! Then had the eggplant stir fry that was a good portion and very tasty. The other diners were very friendly and it seemed to have as many travelers as locals. Highly recommend!

This is one of the best Thai food I have had in a long time. Definitely recommend this place!

The food was ok. The decor in the restaurant was...interesting. But for a quick stop for lunch off I-95 it was fairly good!

China Town is a classic, shopping center, small business near a college campus. No doubt there is…read morea big neighborhood trade. This is a take-out ONLY operation, not unusual for many Chinese restaurants. The food portions are large and very tasty. I had Mongolian Beef and Hot and Sour Soup. Both were among the best I've ever had. Don't get spooked by the ambiance. You order through a plexiglass window and food is delivered from a small, one-way, door (like those used at banks). I suspect the area is a little sketchy after dark. Service was quick and the food was obviously fresh. The menu was quite extensive and showed several "specials" and "combo" meals. Prices are fair and attractive considering the substantial portions. I t'll be a staple on my next visit to Orangeburg, SC.

Update: they don't have that kid working the phone or counter anymore. So the service is quick,…read moreexceptional, and ALWAYS a pleasure. I just can't rave more about their orange chicken, beef/broccoli, and vegetable lo-main. Their food is perfect. I mean they even put orange peel in the orange chicken. Their food tastes so fresh. The veggies in the lo-mein are crunchy and delicious. The beef and broccoli is so goooood! They are an excellent Chinese Restaurant!! I will never go anywhere else. They deserve a title as the best Chinese restaurant in all of Orangeburg county because they are. I have tried all but one establishment. They beat everyone out of the park. I mean even the rice is so freaking good. How do they make rice taste so good. I just love their food. I'm obsessed. They need to be in the newspaper. This place is absolutely amazing. In my opinion there are only two amazing restaurants in the entire county and this is one of them. The food is some of the best chinese I've ever had.

Usually a solid 4-5 stars, but today was not an enjoyable experience. The Mongolian Beef - the…read moreonly beef dish (except for these meatball-looking things) - was terribly overcooked!!! Extremely tough and chewy! The two sparerib tips I picked were mostly fat and gristle - the same with one of the lemon hot wings. High praise for the waitress, though. She kept my table cleared and my drink filled! (I will still come back, because it's a family business, which is important to me.). The owner accidentally gave me $5 too much in my change! He looked seriously puzzled when I returned it before leaving!!!

Hong Kong buffet review | Orangeburg, Sc…read more 2034 Columbia Rd, Orangeburg, SC 29118 3.4 out of 5 Stars Hong Kong Buffet - Orangeburg, SC From an influencer standpoint, Hong Kong Buffet delivers exactly what you expect from a small-town Chinese buffet -- and honestly, that's not always a bad thing. The good: Seating was quick, which is always a win when buffet hunger kicks in. No long waits, no awkward standing by the door wondering if someone forgot you. The buffet line was easy to access and stocked with all the usual crowd-pleasers: General Tso's chicken, honey chicken, coconut shrimp, and the familiar lineup you see at most Chinese buffets. Nothing exotic, but nothing missing either. Staff interaction was fine -- not overly warm, not rude -- just there to keep things moving. The not-so-good: This place is definitely showing its age. Seating and tables feel seriously dated, and the lighting is very dim -- borderline "romantic dinner" lighting, which isn't exactly what you expect when scooping lo mein. The restroom was a disappointment: not clean, with a toilet that wouldn't stop running. That's something that's hard to overlook. Food-wise, while it was fresh enough, some dishes leaned a little greasy, which can catch up to you by plate two. The bottom line: Hong Kong Buffet is the definition of typical Chinese buffet food. If you've had one, you've pretty much had them all. It's fast, familiar, and fills you up, but it's not a destination spot or a place that stands out from the crowd. Solidly average -- and that's exactly why it lands at a 3.4 out of 5 stars. @we_stayed_there on Tik Tok www.westayedthere.com
