$10.95? No additional $5 broth? naaaw #Feelingcheated Never again.

Asked for large wonton soup but was told it was only in small even though there are large containers. Soup was put in a medium container with an up charge of $5 for a separate small broth (not in the bag). Called and talked to the person who took my order. Lots of double talk to try and convince me I got what I paid for... See photo. Even in the medium container, it was only 3/4 full. Won't get my business again. Too ba

My absolute favorite thing to order is the wonton soup (the bigger version with noodles is the mi wonton) with the shrimp basil roll. The pho nam bo vien is also soooo good! Pickup order is quick and when dining in it has a very chill vibe.

This is a very cute modern looking establishment. It's a little small for large groups, we went today with about 10 and they were able to accommodate us, but it was a little tight. They have jazz playing in the background. I could see it being a cute place to go for a romantic date or a small family dinner. Their prices are fairly reasonable. I didn't want to spend a lot today so I went for one of the less expensive dishes. It was a chicken soup with green onions, toasted garlic and glass noodles. It's a smaller bowl than the pho but still reasonably sized. It's not super filling but very nice flavor. I also ordered the hot flower tea. It took a little while for the tea to steep and it wasn't very strong tea but a beautiful experience. They were not overly busy, but I think the size of our group was a bit much for them to handle today. They took our orders quickly and the food started coming pretty quickly but there were several mixups with the food being given to the wrong ones in our group. I would like to come back when I have more funds because I felt like I spent $20 for two types of hot flavored water. The flavor was excellent but I would like to try something more substantial.

Good food! We tried their salmon clay pot and pho with brisket and meatballs. Salmon clay pot would make you very full. Pho is good too! Place is a bit small but the service you get is good!

Great service, cute environment, and super yummy food! I never am out this way but would certainly come back if so! I great find in the goose creek North Charleston area!

When I first walked in I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is very clean, modern, and decorated tastefully to keep with modern style. The jazz music made for nice entertainment. Although it was not busy it did take awhile to get served, that is my only complaint. We were one of 2 tables occupied. The food was absolutely delicious. I got the beef pho and it was extremely flavorful and spicy. 5/5 I loved the topping options and the presentation was also so nice. My husband got the meat lovers pho that had over 5 parts of the cow. Super interesting, you can't get that often. My dad got the seafood special pho which looked great too! There are SO many options here which was nice! The Thai tea was the perfect way to finish the meal! I can't wait to eat here again!

This is one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants in Charleston. I love the aesthetic of the restaurant it feels like a hidden gem in the neighborhood. The prices are a bit high for me (I usually compare prices to nyc standards), but most of the non fast food Asian food places have a higher price point. I love to get the house special rice because it reminds me of the grilled pork chop I usually get in nyc, but instead, they chop up the pork chop into pieces for you here. They also give you an egg as well as shrimp and lettuce with tomatoes. I drench the sauce they give all over the dish before I eat and add a bit of hot sauce as well. The staff are always kind and friendly and I always come here when I want to spoil my friends if they want to try some Vietnamese cuisine.

The family and have been here a few times. Small and cute restaurant that is very good. I'm not a big fan of the Pho Bowl , but my husband and daughter love it, especially the beef. I usually get the house special which includes 5 large shrimp, bbq pork, white rice, side salad, and one fried egg on top of the rice. The sauce that comes with the dish is really good. It's sweet, a little tangy, and a little kick to it. I usually dip my salad in the sauce. The pho bowl are big enough to share with another person. The best part of the meal is the dessert; the vanilla ice cream with the fried banana. It's so good. Will definitely be returning here and recommend

Amazing food, service and cleanliness! The restaurant is so well done inside as far as decor but also because of how clean the restaurant is, as well as the bathrooms. I haven't been in this nice of an establishment in all of Charleston. We were very well taken care of. The service was super quick and the food was insanely delicious. Hands down the best pho in all of Charleston. I've tried many different pho places in CHS and none were this good. The crab rangoons were also the best I've ever had! I can't wait to go back and try a Thai tea from them as well.

Was craving some pho and decided to try out this newer place my friend recommended. It's in a strip among other pretty good restaurants that I've tried. Looking at the menu there were a lot of good options and they had some other items that weren't Vietnamese but looked intriguing. I decided to go with a classic Pho Nam . It was flank and brisket which I love! The broth was very good and flavorful and it was a big portion! I thought overall it was really good for the price. I'm interested in coming back to try a lot more. My server she was very nice and attentive to my needs.

Tom Kha Soup Shrimp cost $11.95 for less than a cup of soup. Not sure how they justify charging this much for such a small amount of soup.

I've tried the all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ once, but since I don't eat red meat, I usually order the stone bowl or sushi instead. If you've never tried stone bowl bibimbap, it's a Korean dish served in a sizzling hot stone bowl filled with rice, vegetables, and usually an egg, with your choice of protein. The best part is how the hot stone makes the rice crispy on the bottom! One of my favorite things here is the banchan, which are small traditional Korean side dishes served alongside your meal. They typically include a variety of seasoned, pickled, or fermented vegetables. I always ask for the banchan and edamame! The selection changes from day to day, so you never know exactly what you'll get. I especially love the lotus root, and the kimchi is another favorite. If you're unfamiliar with kimchi, it's fermented cabbage seasoned with Korean chili flakes, garlic, and other ingredients, giving it a wonderfully tangy, spicy flavor. The atmosphere is another reason to visit. The interior has a fun, modern, almost nightclub-like feel, with interesting lighting, mirrors, Korean artwork, and a lively bar area. There are separate dining areas for traditional meals and Korean BBQ, where you can cook your food right at the table. It's definitely more interesting than your typical restaurant interior! They also offer happy hour Tuesday through Friday, with specials on drinks and food, including sushi. It's worth checking out if you want to try a few things without spending as much. And I have to mention the Lucky Buddha beer! It comes in an adorable green glass bottle shaped like a laughing Buddha. It's such a fun, unusual bottle and something a little different to try. I've always found the service friendly and enjoyable, and I appreciate that there's so much variety on the menu. Whether you're interested in the full Korean BBQ experience, sushi, or trying traditional Korean dishes, there's plenty to explore. It's definitely a place I enjoy returning to!

Being from Hawaii the standard is high, and the taste, portion of bulgogi to rice was off. Too much rice not enough protein. They did have a bogof on the sushi. Overall the place wasn't bad, affordable Korean foods. They did have another side where you cook your own meat so perhaps it was better.

My mom lives in Goose Creek. There's a Vietnamese restaurant in her town but the food in my opinion isn't that good. So expanding our area we found pho 79 with a ton of good reviews. It's in Otranto shopping center which is rundown but the restaurant itself is clean and bright. For appetizers we got spring rolls/summer rolls one with shrimp only and one with shrimp and pork. I didn't love the pork but the spring rolls were good. They add herbs and had the right ratio of filling. We both got the grilled chicken vermicelli bowl. It was tasty but I'm not used to getting peppers and onions in my noodle bowls but I liked it. I got a little extra salad dressing and added some sriracha. I like sambal but they didn't have any. Sriracha is a solid backup. For our meal with tip it was $62 and some change. I'll go back next time I'm in town but I'd like to try their pho next time. Portion sizes are big and we brought leftovers home for later.

Originally I'm from Los Angeles, California I was fortunate to experience many cultures and diverse cuisine there. Being in Charleston for an almost a year now I realized how different it is compared to back home for me. Nevertheless I got to experience a little slice of home 2,500 miles away. This Vietnamese spot is authentic and that's coming from me who's a Vietnamese-American. I was surprised they had Bun Bo Hue on their menu which is a delicacy in the Vietnamese culture alongside with Pho. Small restaurants however kept very organized and clean as well as quick and attentive service. If you're looking for authentic Vietnamese food I'd recommend Pho 79.
