Family owned and managed, this is a charming restaurant with a good selection of Thai noodle and rice dishes. We enjoyed both the pad see ewe and the eggplant basil. I appreciated that they offered brown rice as an option for the eggplant dish. The ambiance is cheerful and casual. We were tourists in town and stumbled upon Thai Home Restaurant and the food totally blew our minds away. I tried the Thai red curry and my friends tried some chicken fried rice and three flavor fish. The red curry paired with white rice was rich and flavorful. 10 on 10 for the quick service and friendly staff. For desert we tried sticky rice with mango, which was the highlight of our meal. Stopped here during a long drive to Portland from Bend. We just took the first Thai restaurant we could find along the way. It's pretty small. Pretty bare bones overall but they have a small dining room with booths. Modest appearance but not bad. They seem to do a fair take out business. I had a bowl of Tom Yum which was fine except it contained one vegetable that was terribly fibrous and essentially not edible, and whatever it was, there was quite a bit. So after fishing numerous pieces out of my mouth I finally extracted every remaining piece from the bowl. I also had a curry entree which was quite good. Fair spiciness and flavorful veggies. Service was reasonable, not exceedingly chummy but nothing bad. Given the area I can't say it's a bad choice for Thai cuisine but it wasn't the most exciting one I've encountered. read more

Came here on a rainy Thursday while heading to wipper snappers with the kids. Street parking only it seems. Its a house converted to a restaurant so don't expect a typical building. Was greeted and sat promptly. The converted dining room has 4 or 5 booths and a few tables. It doesn't seem completely clean when you sit, seats are a bit torn, dated decor, water jug they serve you water out of is significantly stained so it made me wanna triple.check my water glass with every fill. My son's "kids " cup was stained yellow as well and makes the water look dirty and murky. Just a put off. Menu is quite large considering the size of the place. They have lunch menu options that end at 3, we sat before 3 and by the time we were approached for a order, it was 3 on the dot. However they refused to serve us lunch portion options. This was surprising since we were there before 3 and had only been approached at exactly 3..... kind of disappointing but oh well. Not that big of a deal. Hubby ordered Chicken Yellow Curry and I got Shrimp Fried Rice. Hubby saod his wasn't as spicy as he's used to getting at other places He was eating his curry with HEAPS of the chili in every bite. He said it was good nonetheless. He also said the rice was delicious. MY order was very good as well. It had good seasoning and flavor, however, if it was ANY LESS seasoned... It would not have been good. It was riding the line between flavorless and flavor there... Just enough to be on the "flavor is there" side of things. Shrimp were incredibly overcooked but that didn't ruin the dish for me. It was still pretty good. I'd come back if it was the closest thing but I wouldn't go out of my way or tell anyone it was a must try. read more

All the indoor tables were open as it was perfect outside around 7:30pm. Service friendly. What I enjoyed most was they had a burnt red Chile that was dry flakes with sugar...
