Beautiful fall afternoon. Decided to sit out on the getting a little saggy deck. Have had the barbecue chicken before and liked it so decided on that again. Wife had the orange chicken. Two pieces of chicken, some rice and a little veggies. Flavorful chicken, rice just rice. Veggies lightly cooked, in a light indeterminate sauce. Had late lunch/early dinner on our way back from mount hood from here. More Togo than dine in orders there. Family run local restaurant in the area. Mixed feeling about food. Took Thai home platter and potstickers as appetiser. Except for spring roll ( filling didn't taste good) , other items were good. Chicken Thai fried rice , red curry and spicy noodles were best. Spicy seafood sizzler was just okay. It's a good option. My rating of 3 doesn't mean it's average. It's good. But not all dishes maintain the taste consistency that we were looking for. read more

stopped in sandy during a road-trip and found this place. first off, it was a super cute restaurant with lights, flowers and decor. the servers were really friendly and attentive to us. I got the drunken noodle with tofu, which was $13.95. it was very tasty but it did not quite taste like drunken noodle. it was too sweet and too oily. I think this is a good place to stop by for a quick bite and for friendly people but don't expect extremely authentic thai food. read more

I heard some good things about this place so decided to give it a try. I love Thai food and have it at least once a week from a variety of places in the Vancouver/Portland area. Unfortunately my meal here was well below average. First off, It was 90% potato's and onion and not nearly enough sauce for the rice. It was almost. Nonexistent. Secondly, the flavor was so bland. No spices or anything. Tasted like they just mixed coconut milk with a little bit of curry powder. We had leather hard and dried out chicken satay, and several other dishes. None were very good. The garden rolls are nothing but lettuce and cabbage with no flavor. The servers were rude. The prices on the menu shown on here is out-of-date and the prices have increased about 20%. I will never return to this place that treats customers as if they don't want them to return. read more

We stopped here on our drive to Bend and they have a super cute patio area perfect for dining with your family pup. We eat A LOT of Thai food so we have a ton of places to compare to and the food was really good. Pad Thai was super flavorful and had the right amount of sauce. The massuman curry was also really delicious and had a good amount of meat and veggies unlike a lot of places that only give you a couple potatoes and carrots. Uuuuhmazing Thai food halfway between Portland and Mount Hood. I was staying in Boring, and this was one of the closest places to me. I got the pad see ew with beef and tom yum kai. Now, I have high expectations for Thai food. I've been through many restaurants with just okay flavor. The flavor in both of these dishes was so full. The pad see ew was salty and sweet. The tom yum kai was umami and tangy. I wouldn't expect this kind of food on the outskirts of society, but here I am surprised again. Plus, the customer service from the family is top notch. From the moment we entered the restaurant, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Their service was great! As for the food, it was absolutely delicious!! We got chicken Pad Thai, massaman curry, Thai BBQ chicken, and fried wontons. It was a lot of food and we had to take some home, but it will make for some tasty leftovers! I don't know what happened to this restaurant. I had been there a couple of years ago and it was good. Last night a number of complaints: ordered pad Se ew because comments were so great. Tiny tiny tiny portion so much that we asked "does it come with rice or something?" The appetizer which was ok, calinari, was brought with the entree. No beer. Just a real disappointment. They are fast and efficient with take out as well. They are limited by their seating availability. They would benefit from a small makeover. I've never had anything I don't like at this place. Stumbled on this place by mistake, indeed the biggest mistake ever!!!!! I had 2 orders of drunken noodles, I had never ever had such disgusting food as I did today. The noodles were so overcooked that it was a big mush, flavor-wise it left me wanting so much more. Needless to say, it was the worst 30 dollars ever spent. Nah....Chicken Penang Curry was way too salty, not very flavorful and peppers had a slimy texture. I've Gone to this Thai home years ago and thought made they got better. The high reviews don't merit sub, par food just because there is nothing better closer. I'll stick to driving into PDX if I need a curry fix. read more

After a day snowboarding at Mt. Hood, this place caught my eye and I just decided to roll the dice and give it a shot (something I hardly ever do). I was pleasantly surprised! Some of the best pad thai I have had in a while! and in Sandy?! Noodles cooked and sauced perfectly. Thai ice tea was a little sweet for my preference but worked well with the spicy dishes.
