Go here. Food was f***ing great. Pulled pork birria was one of the best birrias I've ever had. Service was quick. Guy in the truck was also very friendly.

This place aint playing, fire all around! Top notch in every way. Nachos, birria, i mean the orders they always pay attention to every aspect. They are on point. I dont know how long they've been open but Highly recommend and I mean highly recommend, my new spot

I discovered this place last week and have since been 3 times. These are the best queso birria tacos I've found on island so far, and at a reasonable price. You can order them on a plate with salsa and consommé, or al a carte. The truck does move sometimes, and I have found that the hours are not always accurate online so that is my only complaint. There is an outside seating area when the truck is 'home' on Market Street in Wailuku with a few picnic tables in the shade.

What a gem! I live nearby and saw this new food truck. I told the owner I'm originally from Chicago, where we have a large Mexican American population and amazing Mexican food. Also, that I haven't found Mexican food here on the island that is as delicious as back in Chicago. Well, I finally found one! I had the birria and it's delicious and flavorful. Definitely, will return to try other food on the menu.

These guys make delicious, authentic and addictive tacos. We ordered the 3 taco plate. You receive 3 cheese and shredded pork crispy tacos with salsa, chilies and consume soup. Fantastic flavors and texture. Highly recommended.

Birria Taco but it didn't come with salsa or radish.

Food trailer is located in Wailuku on Market street (check social media for hours) with 2 other food trucks. Limited benches and under large trees. The food truck lot itself can be muddy if it rains/rained so just be careful. Service seemed nice and it was just one person working so we expected the wait to be long. Surprisingly we didn't have to wait as long, it took about 15 minutes for a Birria queso taco plate and a ribeye plate. Pricing came out to be around $43. Reasonably priced and the portions seemed good. We were excited to dig in, but we were not satisfied. The Birria tacos itself were bland and the meat did not look like it was cooked in a stew because it had no flavor and light in color compared to the meat found in my consume. To my knowledge the whole point of birria is to have that meat from the stew, all the delicious flavors and aromas. Most of the seasonings and spices were in the consume, but it was wayyyyyyyy to spicy for me and my spouse. Also noted chili/ peppers in the tacos itself. Seemed overly spicy to the point where your mouth is burning and you can't even enjoy your meal. This might be great for people who enjoy EXTREMELY spicy food because there was so many chili/ red pepper flakes in the consume and taco. Also menu on their instagram highlights say that my plate was supposed to come with radish and salsa which it did not (they gave a house sauce instead). The Ribeye was a good size. Sadly more rare/undercooked to our liking and the fats around the meat were not rendered enough so it was chewy. Please note that the house sauce comes with this plate too and is also spicy. I think the food trailer needs to work on putting notes to which items are spicy on their menu. This will help customers a lot especially if they are not spice heads. Also, cook the steak just a bit longer or ask people how they want their steak done. Another note to add would be for them to invest in a screen for their service window and doorway because bugs can get in to food and cooking area. The food trailer door was wide open, exposing cooking area to potential flies/bugs.

You can just feel it--and yes, confirmed: actual Mexican folks running the place, so you already know the food isn't playing around. Everything was insanely tasty and felt super authentic. Like the kind of tacos that make you pause mid-bite and rethink every other taco you've had before. Bonus points for the sauce bar--lowkey my favorite part. Nothing like standing there debating life decisions while trying every salsa like you're on a flavor quest. Easy 5 stars. I'd come back again and again... and probably embarrass myself at the sauce bar every single time. Service took a little while because there's only one guy cooking but it was well worth the wait.

The car rental company receptionist recommended this area of food trucks to check out since it was close by. It was about a 15 minute drive to the food trucks. Our friends said they've tried Ono Tacos before in Lahaina. They said that the tacos they had were good! I was in the mood for tacos so I ordered one Al Pastor "Pork" taco and the Shredded Beef Birria tacos. They were both very tasty and I would say "on par" with tacos I've had on the mainland! I would go back again the next time I'm in Maui.

They have a restaurant near my house in Kihei and this food truck near my workplace. The ladies at the food truck are always so friendly and I always call in my order before I pick it up since the truck can be real hot to wait at. I got the Al Pastor Taco plate that includes Rice, Pinto Beans with cheese and 2 Tacos with chopped cilantro, onion and a side of fresh green salsa. The salsa has a bit of heat so if you like that extra kick! I also got a Medium Horchata. Very refreshing and perfect drink to balance the heat of the salsa. I ended up paying $20 for both. I wish it was a bit more affordable but considering high cost of living and Maui prices, that's definitely the norm. I usually treat myself maybe a few months at a time. A nice taco spot if you want a good authentic meal with a smile.

Asada, carnitas, al pastor, chicken, mahi mahi, and much more make up an enticing and reasonably priced menu, with options including tacos, burritos, soups, tostadas, nachos, tortas, enchiladas, quesadillas, and so on. A nice selection of sodas, aguas frescas, and juices will complement your meal; there's horchata as well, my favorite. I got 2 tacos, one with carne asada and one with mahi mahi, and a medium horchata. The fish was flaky, tender, and delicate, with a chipotle sauce that wasn't overpowering. The asada had good flavor but seemed a bit dry; the super fresh diced onions, cilantro, and added spicy salsa verde on top made up for the dryness. The tortillas were tasty and held up to the fillings nicely without being tough or too thick. The sweetness of the horchata was a lovely contrast to the tacos.

I did not eat the food there, but the little food truck park where Linda's is located has lots of shaded tables. There are fly fans if you need them and spray bottles to clean a table, if needed. Inspired by Grandma Linda's cherished recipes, the owners first opened up shop in Lahaina. Following the fires, they relocated centrally and recently just found a new home at the Tambayan Corner food truck lot in Kahului. On warm days, I've enjoyed their ube horchata which is one of their more unique offerings. It's just the right balance of creamy sweetness to cool you down. Let's start by saying, they pulled into the pole position of my most delectable Mexican food bite and place in Hawaii (albeit only had on Oahu and Maii, lol). My order: Chorizo Burrito Bowl and maaayynnn Thai thing was loaded. Starts with a layer of rice, beans, chorizo, green and red cabbage, pico de gallo, avacado, topped with chipotle aioli. Then on the side is a lime, pickled carrots, jalapeño, radish, and I chose spicy salsa. The bowl is huge,, and i stuffed my face and finished every bite haha; it goes to say hot great it was. The rice and beans are a perfect layer of goodness, the crunch from the fresh veggies, that smoky and spicy (light) of the chorizo, richness of that avacado, and finished off with that nice creamy aioli. Then I hit it with the kick or the lime and extra spice of the salsa. I'm in heaven. Oh then add side tart, tangy, and crunchy bites of the pickled veg. Waaaaawhoooo was my tummy happy. I'd like to say, I want to come back and all their other options such as their soft and questo tacos or biria. However as I am not in Maui much, probably going back for my home run. Hopefully next time someone else is with me so I can try their choices haha. The staff were friendly and food came out in good time. They are located on the back side of the food truck area, so don't pass them by if you just jump into the main area. Definitely recommend them for all who havent.

Their big blue truck can't be missed as they are located right on the corner. They serve up a handful of Mexican favorites from tacos to burritos, quesadillas, menudo, and even a taco salad. What piqued my interest was one of their specialty items that was marked available on Saturdays and Sundays only -- their birria ramen. No one has this available on their menu regularly (that I know of) so if you've been wanting to try it... this is the spot. When I stopped by the food truck lot again for lunch, I was happy to see that it was actually one of their specials that was available so I didn't have to wait for the weekend. It didn't have a price on it on the specials board so I was a little shocked when my total came out to $19. (Their regular menu says $12, so not sure if it was served differently that day?). My order came out quickly and I was happy to see that it came with limes and 3 tortillas. It reminded me of how my birria taco order came when I was in LA. One bite and I must say it was pretty tasty. The broth had good flavor and the meat was very tender. Don't forget to squeeze in the limes for an extra hit of flavor; it makes all the difference! While it tasted good, I could have honestly done without the ramen. I would rather eat it all as just a soup, haha! Overall though, I enjoyed it and am glad I finally got to try it. The price was a little on the steep end, so it won't be something I have regularly. My coworkers who got their crispy tacos enjoyed their meal as well. The family that owns is truck is from Jalisco, Mexico so I definitely look forward to exploring the menu more and tasting some authentic Mexican flavors and food. Parking is available on the Kahului Library side and a really nice covered eating area with ample tables and seating is available. Some evenings they even do karaoke at the food truck lot.
