Authentic and delicious. I was out running errands, so stopped at Linda's Kitchen to pick up some lunch. For two people, I got two quesabirria tacos and two mahi tacos. Both were unique and outstanding. The quesabirria tacos have a beef filling and the taco comes with a broth for dipping. There is so much flavor in them! The mahi tacos have large pieces of fish and lots of toppings. The fish was so fresh. Linda knows what she is doing! Two tacos each was also plenty of food for us. I did not eat the food there, but the little food truck park where Linda's is located has lots of shaded tables. There are fly fans if you need them and spray bottles to clean a table, if needed. Everything felt very neat and clean to me and the trucks have planters in front of them to green things up. Well worth the stop to have a bite or take something away. read more

This Mexican food truck isn't just serving up tacos and burritos -- it's sharing a piece of their family history. Inspired by Grandma Linda's cherished recipes, the owners first opened up shop in Lahaina. Following the fires, they relocated centrally and recently just found a new home at the Tambayan Corner food truck lot in Kahului. They serve all the typical Mexican greatest hits of tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and a small lineup of bebidas (drinks). On warm days, I've enjoyed their ube horchata which is one of their more unique offerings. It's just the right balance of creamy sweetness to cool you down. I've also had their quesabirria tacos, which are tasty and satisfying. I just wished the consommé had a bit more depth of flavor -- the kind where you know the meat has been stewing for hours and hours. Food is good you can't really go wrong with it, $7 for a taco is kinda expensive, but I mean it's good just don't think I could get a better price somewhere else. Service is a hit and miss , I've had some bad experiences with how they communicate with customers but today is actually pretty good he was friendly and helpful too. Linda is one baddie! She knows what she's cooking. You just have to try it if you're in Wailuku. She used to be in Lahaina near Front Street and now moved. Give her some love and her food a try. You will not regret eating tacos on any day, even if it's not Tuesday. Hopefully, we can get her back on West Maui!!!! Best birria tacos I have found on island. Tried this place out for lunch today. I ordered the carne asada burrito with beans, rice, cilantro, onions the taste was ok. I think the grill needs to be seasoned more. The portions were good for the price. The spice salsa was good but needed more flavor. As they are a new food truck I will be back to try them again after a few weeks. The service was good and fast. I like the ambiance of the place as they are located at the Da Tambayan Corner. Which is the new food truck spot in Kahului. I like it because there are covered tables to sit at. Decided to try Linda's based on my fellow Yelper Tris' review. Great suggestion on ordering the quesabirria tacos. We called in our order a half hour before closing on a weekday and the food was ready upon arrival. Great location and lots of parking. My husband got the quesabirria tacos, the kids shared a carne asada burrito loaded with pico de gallo, cheese and avocado and I did a 3 taco plate with chicken tinga, carne asada and al pastor. The quesabirria tacos were flavorful and fresh, topped with cilantro and onions and came with chile verde salsa and consomme broth to dip. My kids loved the burrito. Meat was tasty and tender and it was a good balance of rice, beans, pico de gallo, lettuce, cheese and avocado. This was definitely filling and was the highlight of the night. I had a 3 taco plate each with a different protein. Carne asada was topped with onions and cilantro, al pastor had onions, cilantro and sauteed pineapple and chicken tinga was drizzled with chipotle and a tomato sauce. All very unique, great texture and bursting with flavor. Would highly recommend any of the dishes we ordered, but the burrito won overall. read more

Normally, I don't leave reviews, but I feel I should share my experience here. Honestly, it wasn't very good. The food seemed overpriced, which I don't mind if the quality matches. I'm always willing to pay more for really good Mexican food. What turned me off, however, was the service. The lady working there came across as rude and impatient. She also wasn't very clear when explaining the menu. I'm not sure if that's just her personality, but I do think showing more kindness and patience would make a big difference. read more

So we were drinking a beer at Kohola Brewery (see my review) and told that just a short walk away was a collection of food trucks. We walked through a opened chain link fence, across some old, unused railroad tracks, on a dirt road and found what we were looking for. We wandered around the trucks 5 or 6, and decided on the Mexican Food. There are a few picnic tables with umbrellas if you want to eat it there. But we were going back to the brewery. We both ordered Tacos. I had the Pork Adobo, and my wife had the Carne Asada. I have to say that these were AWESOME. Some of the best tacos ever and definitely on Maui in this reporter's opinion. The pork was moist and very flavorful, cooked to perfection. The salsa was tasty and not too spicy. Really GOOD! I had three of these tacos. The wifey had the Carne Asada and the meat had a GREAT flavor and was moist and tasty as well - served with the same salsa. All the tacos were all stuffed with as much meat as they could get in the tortilla. This was an INCREDIBLE Find. We're going to go by again before we leave Maui to get some more tacos! Some of the Best Mexican food in Maui you can find at this little food stand. Meat and clean with a very pleasant staff. We found this little gem purely by chance. After a great day exploring the island our group of four was hungry and a bit tired. Waiting at a full service restaurant was not an option. We ordered 2 Chicken Tinga Burritos, Carne Asada Burrito, Quesadilla, and 2 Chicken Tinga Tacos. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable. We were craving some fresh homemade food and we randomly passed by this food truck and decided to give it a try. Wow, we are so glad we did. Food in this area is hit or miss but I definitely recommend giving this spot a try. We ordered the puerco adobo tacos and the meat is so tender and the flavor is amazing. The papas rajas tacos were super good too!! Food was hot and fresh and came out pretty quick too. They had chicken donuts advertised on a sign and we ordered 2 and devoured them! The sauce you dip them in was so yummy you could eat it alone. They have a spicy habanero salsa that was a great compliment to their food.
