We've ordered take out a few times from here since they've opened. Everything has been so flavorful! We love the food here! We've used the online ordering system and contactless pickup and picked it up in the store at a table set up for orders. Beware, the Indian Spicy option is crazy spicy! They don't really explain what that means on the menu, but my husband loved it. We've ordered the curry puffs, dragon shrimp, basil fried rice with beef, and fried calamari. You know it's made fresh when the wait time is 30 minutes or more. Well worth the wait! read more

I was so excited for this place to open for years after my beloved Ploy Siam closed. And they did not disappoint! First of all, I'm so disappointed to see people taking the opportunity to trash a brand new restaurant opening during the coronavirus pandemic. Times are difficult and this place went ahead and put themselves out there to fill the gaping void in this area and offer us Thai food. The fact that these people made the choice to jump to yelp immediately because things weren't functioning well for a brand new restaurant during a pandemic lockdown is so tacky. Thai Ginger, I promise your new neighborhood is kinder and more welcoming than that. All that aside...our dinner last night was delicious! My Massamun curry was so flavorful and full of (mild, cinnamony) spices. My husband also very much enjoyed his pad Thai. We also ordered the See-Ew, which was very good if you're in the mood for more basic noodles. We ordered some appetizers - chive veggie dumplings were amazing! My 10-month-old gobbled them up. Golden pouches were my favorite, similar to a crab rangoon. They also kindly threw in a bonus appetizer, the dumplings stuffed with chicken. These were tasty but not my favorite. I ordered online and the food was finished in the stated timeframe. However, it said to call for curbside delivery but nobody picked up the phone while calling for five minutes so my husband finally went in to grab the order off the table. The food seemed expensive for the quality and especially quantity of meat. There were tons of noodles but barely any beef on the pad see ew. Same with the curry. A soup container filled to the brim with a thin sauce but not much chicken or vegetables. Flavor was good for both dishes. Calamari was cooked well and not greasy but batter had zero flavor. For a $40+ order, we received a small container of rice, which wasn't enough for the curry dish. We were disappointed since we were looking forward to this restaurant since Ploy Siam closed (which we liked!). They need to adjust their prices and or adjust the amount of protein and vegetables in their dishes. A container just filled with sauce or noodles is not worthy $15. read more

I was hoping this place was going to be good but damn!! Let me down., and I'm hungry after a long day of work, so I'll eat anything right now. Pad Thai is always a great way to test out a Thai restaurant so I went the classic Pad Thai ($15.00) and a small cup of Colossal Shrimp* Tom Yum Soup. ($ 8.00)and Holy sweet!! Like sugar sweet. I will say though that everything was fresh. The soup was so sweet (like 6 tablespoons of sugar in a coffee sweet.) and the 3 medium size shrimp were way over cooked. So the Pad Thai I opened (after eating 1/3 of the soup) and tasteless! There was maybe... Maybe a tablespoon of crushed peanuts in the corner of the container and just rice noodles and chicken. Like no spices at all, and I asked for a side of hot sauce or spicy peppers and that was missed. Whatever tho. No fork or knife tho which is annoying. Thank god I had sriracha in the fridge. So I'm sitting here a half hour after I ate and still pretty underwhelmed by my dinner. I just wanted it to be better after such a long wait. read more

Had this delivered for lunch today. The basil fired rice (vegetables), spice level 2 was great and perfectly seasoned. The red curry, also spice level 2 but wish we did 3 for an added kick with the rice. We did the tofu one and there was a ton of veggies in it. The chive dumplings are similar to what some places call chive pancake/ bit - they were flavorful, but a little oily (expected). The chocolate lava cake was TERRIBLE - hence the 4 stars. Should have known better than to order chocolate cake at a Thai place and should have gone for the mochi. Another time maybe. read more

Delicious food... we go the beef drunken noodles and red curry noodles with shrimp and chicken for their lunch special, which was served with a spring roll and edamame. Portion size was great. We ate outside!! There are two little tables underneath an overhang (shaded, protected from rain). I like the non contact pickup component due to coronavirus. However, the food is not at all representative of Thai cuisine. All of the noodle dishes did not taste as they should. The se ew was lacking its trademark sweet and sour taste, replaced with a complete lack of sauce and only possessing a basic spice profile (same with the kee mao). The Penang curry was okay, but still decidedly average. I was hoping this could match the taste of the now closed ploy siam, but they have a long way to go. read more

The ramen curry soup was to die for! Creamy and spicy and delicious. Came with noodles and crispy fried chicken in a separate container from broth. Only reason I rated 4 stars is because my side of fried rice was only ok. Steamed dumplings were also pretty small compared to what I was expecting. Overall would order again! read more

Placed an order for takeout at 11:22. Door dash message said the restaurant has accepted my order and even said it was on its way. 12:00am on the dot, (after already salivating from anticipation of my meal) I received a text stating that my order was now canceled because the restaurant is closed. The issue I'm having is this, I waited tables for 15 years. I can tell you one of two things happened, whoever accepted the order forgot to enter it into the POS and the kitchen never received it.. or, by the time it was recognized as a live ticket, all of the food was already put away for closing. Both things don't sit well with me because as someone visiting from out of town, I expect the restaurant to be OPEN when it says that it is open and FULLY OPERATING so that I may purchase food. If this place was too lazy to fry some premade fried rolls and balls of dough, than they should simply close. If they don't want to make money ($40 order for one person) than they should not be in business. But what do I know, I'm just some old server bitch. Smmfh. Horrible service. And I called the restaurant 12:03am immediately after receiving this text as I know there are still staff in house and available to answer. Smmfh. But of course, no one answered. A mess. read more
