Should've read and trusted the reviews that things can be a bit spicy! I got mild yellow curry fried rice with chicken which was a bit warm, but not inedible. I got medium beef pad Thai and this was definitely warmer, also not inedible, but hot. The flavor of the pad Thai was really lacking for me. I love a darker color and saucier pad thai and this missed the mark. The beef had a weird texture that I just couldn't get over either. The curry fried rice was delicious and I would definitely order this again. The chicken rolls were also delicious, but they were a million degrees when they came out so be warned! They do come with 2 to an order, but as always, I couldn't wait to dive in. Service was decent, but there were a lot of tables that hadn't been cleared when I got there and there seemed to only be one worker in the front of house.

The best Thai food I've had in the Grand Rapids area! When we went in, there was hardly anyone else in there and I can't understand why! We ordered crab wantons, veggie rolls, pak with chicken, and pad se-ew with beef. Each dish was authentic and flavorful. The portions were huge and very well priced. The service was great, our server was perfectly attentive. The Kentwood community needs to show up for this restaurant- it is truly one of the best!!

Presently Thai Fusion is only doing take out. Food was ready at the expected time for pick up. While the photos of the pad Thai on Yelp looked promising (some other places have carrots!! In their pad Thai photos) , the pad Thai was sadly lacking in flavor and missed the usual sweet component to it. It did have peanuts but minimal bean sprouts, chicken was tender but quite stuck together. Will not order again, the quest for decent Pad Thai in GR continues...

Just really disappointed with the pattani. Half the vegetables on the menu were not in the dish served. No coconut milk either. Did they make the wrong thing on the menu. At 9 pm on a saturday evening after driving home with the carry out I was not going back. The portion seemed small compared to my regular thai place. The drunken noodles were a notch below what I am used to.

Came here again after some shopping, and there were probably 3 tables being waited and we were the fourth. We arrived around 5:10 and our waitress took our order 10 min later. Our food was brought 20 minutes later. It was good, portions were small and I had to stand up to get a refill. Not sure why if food is good, they don't have enough waiters. Place stared to get crowded and we were going to order another dish (small portions) and we decided to bail out. We would've been here another 40 minutes after that many people waiting for food. Probably our last time here.

We did not understand the level of spice when we came here. We ordered how we would at many similar restaurants and this was so much spicier. That is somewhat encouraging because too often my wife can't get food spicy enough. We had a tom yum soup which was really good. It has an acidic broth and an ok amount of vegetables. It was so spicy it took about twenty minutes to eat between the two of us. Still my wife wanted to get some to go. We ate our soup while we waited for a takeout order. Unfortunately the dish my wife got was so spicy I was afraid she wasn't eating enough. She had to bust out some cheese and bread later in the evening. I got a beef and noodle dish at a lower spice level and it was at about my thresh hold. It was good but I wish I didn't order it so spicy because it masks other more subtle flavors that I enjoy.

We were looking for a lunch spot with plenty vegetable options for the plant based among us and settled on Thai known for generous varieties of both. The service was friendly and the tea was tasty. The soup that came with the meal was salty. I ordered the Pad See Yew my usual go-to since it's more savory than the more well known Pad Thai. The noodles looked like Italian style pasta more then the the thick wide noodles I am used to. The sauce was in excess and much too sweet. I couldn't finish it. Another theme was unexpected spice levels. The "mild" for several of us (including my spice-loving wife) was spicier than expected. One of us had a "medium" that seemed mild. The consensus on each meal was "okay" except for me with the too-sweet pad see yew. Don't get that and you should be fine.

One of the few places that I cannot order it as spicy as they can make it. Super delicious food. Never a bad experience.

Great food, great service. We were the only ones in there around 2pm. Be wary of the "fire" spice level. Fried rice was very yummy.

The new owners/servers/cooks/experts are amazing!! I asked for help choosing traditional Burmese dishes and I had Burmese tea leaf salad that I have wanted to try forever and a great noodle dish. I was told that the tea leaves and crunchy beans in the salad are imported directly from Burma/Myanmar. I've been looking for a way to try this dish for years and wow, it is absolutely incredible at this restaurant. The owners were very friendly and helped me pick out dishes from their menu. Talking to them it turned out that they have many, many years of restaurant experience and it shows here. I can't wait to visit again and try more new-to-me foods. Really, this kind of experience is what I think is making Grand Rapids the interesting place I want to be part of. Kudos to these chefs.

However, there were still enough options to try different things. We had the stirfried Myanmar rice with chicken and the Myanmar's curry chicken. We asked for medium spice and the amount of spice for me was perfect, I could've handled a little more, but I truly enjoyed the way it was prepared. The portions are healthy and the prices are extremely reasonable.
