Peanut curry noodles and tofu bites

Here for the 3rd time and love it. Absolutely grateful that they can make so many things vegan. Must try place.

Yellow Curry (Veggie)

Customer service: 10/10 I place my order over the phone. The young woman was very sweet and nice. Food: 8.9/10 I order the yellow veggie curry with two orders of veggie egg-rolls. The egg rolls comes with sweet and sour sauce which was savory and delicious. The Veggie egg rolls are definitely a 10/10 must try again. Now, the yellow curry was good and could've been better. I felt as if I got too many onions and not enough veggies. They were closing which could've been the reason on why I didn't get as much veggies. Potatoes in the dish were fried and smothered, which gave it like a meaty texture. (Amazingly delicious) The curry sauce was very rich in flavor and a little spicy to be mild. Overall, the experience was super amazing, definitely will check them out again in the near future and hopefully I get more veggies. Cleanliness: 7/10 The inside is very basic theme. I suggest they should do some window cleaning. Too much dust and spider webs hanging around the windows. I didn't get to seat down nor see inside the full establishment but I didn't like the dirty windows. They also give you free mints and utensils, which a little plus. If you're looking for some good Thai, definitely try them out. My photos below isn't the best quality; Next time I'll get better photos

Good food classic In Rockford. Great noodles delicious Thom Ka soup and fresh rolls which are cold. The noodle spice you can add up to hot. I added spice at a medium or a six and it was still flavorful and you could feel some heat and after burn but not sooo hot that you could not taste the flavors and enjoy it. I had the wide noodles with a Thai Curry which was great and also an order of Spicy Pad Thai peanut which is a classic. What would make this even better is a more generous inclusion of vegetables and protein. We both had chicken and there could have been a lot more other than the noodles.

Seriously?!? This is what they consider a dinner portion?!? This place use to be good... going to have to find a new Thai place. Apparently their dinner portion is now smaller than most restaurants lunch portions.

Chicken fried rice. Relish!!

I had went and picks up a order of chicken rolls, crab wontons and Pad Thai and it all was FABULOUS!!! I will be returning again!! Update Nov. 21, 2015. I went back and had the chicken fried rice and veggie spring rolls. It was totally awesome! My sister had the ginger beef and veggie wok dish. That tasted wonderful also. I have to say this is one of my favorite places to go. By the way, if you want the chicken spring rolls I'm suggesting to go early because they make them fresh daily and when their out they are all out! The waitress was awesome and she new the menu very well. I love this place.

The yellow curry noodles under their signature dishes was superb, as was my dining partners pad pak. Veggies cooked just right and chicken was tender and not overcooked. We both had enough leftovers for a second full meal with the oversized portions which we love. The server was friendly and the touch pad system she used ensured our order was taken accurately and made getting the check a synch. I did have two complaints 1. would be the crab ragoons, a bit pricey ($6) for what you got which was mostly cream cheese and a little imitation crab. 2. the up charge for substitutions, to get brown rice or noodles on most dishes was an extra $3, I don't see the cost making sense for the product or the time it takes to boil water..

Tom tum soup- so delicious. You should try some.

The chicken fried rice with peanut sauce or the chicken peanut pad Thai with peanut sauce is my rotation. Don't forget the crab wantons!

The order was incorrect (hard to understand gal taking phone order), flavor & quantity was very lacking. Price was high for experience.

This is definitely a hidden gem of a restaurant. My husband, my son and I sat down to a table that…read morehad fancy little silverware holders, with a precisely-folded napkin and silverware inside. The ambiance is pretty typical of any Thai restaurant. Tastefully decorated, not cluttered or tacky at all. The menu was a bit lengthy, but it was nicely laid out and easy to read. The prices are pretty comparable with other Thai restaurants. Our waiter, I believe, was also the owner of the restaurant, a very pleasant gentleman. He was knowledgable about the menu and offered a spice range of 1 (no spice) to 10 (extremely spicy), and anywhere in between. My son ordered the Drunk Mama dish, my husband ordered the Mongolian dish, and after asking if there was soy in it (and mentioning I had a soy allergy), I ordered the Vegetable dish. The waiter assured me they could make it without soy. It was literally only a few minutes when the dishes started coming to the table, piping hot. I had only taken about 2 bites when the waiter came over to the table, took one look at my dish and said, "Oh, let me remake that for you. I can tell this has soy in it." He whisked it away immediately. A few minutes later, I was given a newly prepared dish, without soy, and was told there would be no charge for dinner. I also received many apologies for the mixup. This is one place that genuinely cares about their customers. My vegetable dish was full of tasty, very fresh vegetables, cooked to perfection. All 3 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The spice levels were perfect, the presentation was nice, and the taste was outstanding. We love Thai food and have tried a lot of them, but this one is now at the top of our list. We live on the south end of Grand Rapids, but we will definitely be back! I'm looking forward to trying many of the other dishes listed on the menu. I highly recommend you try Jasmine Thai too.

Taste of Asia has food from several Asian countries including Thailand, Vietnam & Laos. When we arrived we met Lena the very charming & helpful owner from Laos. She gave us a brief rundown on some of the food items available on their menu. I see my fellow Yelper formerly from Chicago Leang has also been here. I guess foodies find good food no matter where you live or travel to lol We started w/an order of shrimp spring rolls that came w/4 spring rolls loaded w/fresh lettuce, bean sprouts & shrimp. * Issan Pad Ga Pow - Ground Chicken w/Thai Basil, onion, jalapeño w/jasmine rice ball in the center & a crispy fried egg on top of the rice perfectly cooked w/a nice gooey egg yolk on top of the jasmine rice (Excellent Dish) our favorite * Pad See Ew - Thick rice noodles w/beef, Chinese broccoli & egg w/soy sauce w/a sweetness * Larb V - season minced meat, lime juice, patise, cilantro, bean sprouts & sliced cucumbers. Very good but a tad too salty for our taste. So many times when restaurants try to cook a variety of different Asian dishes from multiple countries you end up w/a variety of mediocre dishes. This wasn't the case w/Taste of Asian where each dish had its own unique blend of seasonings that made it unique to the country being represented. Our host Lena was very helpful in helping us choose our dishes. The young girl (probably her daughter came out to check on our needs several times). Her 4 year old son was tasked with bringing out a sticky rice ball wrapped to each table. I asked him how many girlfriends he had he held out his hand w/4 fingers. He better not get any older or he'll be in trouble w/1 girl for every year lol Great food, great service w/a nice choice of options in terms of the dishes to choose from.

Could be one person in the kitchen. They need some help. Folks waiting and ringing the bell to get checked out. Ordered crab Rangoon, 4 pieces, 2 chicken only spring rolls, chicken satay, drunken noodles with chicken and added garlic, Khao pad ga prow with chicken and added veggies, spicy. $58.16 Can't get steamed tofu here, only fried. The crab Rangoon wonton wrapper is thick, too thick and heavy. The creamed cheese inside has an odd texture and leaves an unpleasant after taste, not what I expected, super sweet. Color looks odd. The whole thing is off and doesn't taste right. The dipping sauce is not quite duck sauce or what I expected either. I have a feeling today's lunch will be interesting. I am hopeful the rest of the apps and meal goes better than the first starter. The chicken satay is super dry. The peanut sauce is thick as heck. The spring roll had some older lettuce, not great. The sauce was not peanut sauce, just topped with peanuts was all. The fried rice is meh, nothing special. The main dishes aren't big portions. The drunken noodles aren't too bad, small portion, which is fine. The drunken noodle was the best part of the meal, that's not a good thing. Service and most of the apps and food leaves much to be desired.
