Food and Service was fantastic! Place was clean -- including the restrooms. Clean restrooms are important, am I right?? The young gentleman that served us was so kind and friendly! We ordered the Chili Thai Fried rice (medium) with chicken, no bell peppers and extra basil --- holy smokes it was absolutely delicious! We also ordered the drunken noodles with beef -- beef was so tender -- this dish was so good! Lastly we ordered the combo pho -- broth was super clean and the cuts of meat so tender! Really great Thai food. Lots of choices on their menu. Super friendly staff!!! The owners are from Thailand. Once when I was there I got to watch tiny cooking videos while I was eating. I've ordered take out from here twice and it's been amazing both times. If you want to dine-in, there are plenty of tables, but the restaurant is very basic and plain as far as decor/atmosphere goes. Both times I arrived to pick up my order, I was greeted by very friendly staff and the orders were ready when I got there. As far as food goes, the first time we got drunken noodles and the sweet and sour stir fly. Both were great and had a lot of flavor. The second time we got chicken pad se ew,l and orange chicken. The orange chicken was SUPER good. It is a little more expensive than most Chinese or Thai places, but that's because the chicken is very lightly breaded, so it has tons of meat and very little filler. Well worth it for the price and much better than most places which just give you heavily breaded pieces with barely any chicken. Portion sizes were very good, but I would definitely recommend paying the extra $1.50 or so to add extra chicken to your noodle dishes because the first time I didn't and there was definitely a little lack of meat. As far as spice level, medium will have you tasting just a little bit of heat, but nothing significant. Hot will definitely have heat, but nothing unbearable for people who like spicy food...just the right amount. Definitely one of the best Thai places I've been to in Grand Rapids. read more

Sooooooo good!! We've been searching for the best pad thai in Michigan for a year now and this place is definitely it. Amazingly flavorful and very authentic!! I would say that if you're used to spice, order their hot or thai spicy level as the medium was a little light on the heat but they offer additional spices if you need to crank it up :) We also got the thai tea and thai green tea which were amazing and complimented the food so well. This was a huge miss. Ordered Massaman and got a full container of liquid - no chicken, potatoes or onion. It had less ingredients in it than most soups. On top of that, they gave us the smallest container of white rice I've ever received and it was not full. The Pad Thai had a sweet and sour sauce on it (almost red) and also had 3 small pieces of chicken. The pineapple fried rice was greasy and had 3 shrimp. This is a great place for yummy, comfort Thai food. My boyfriend and I have been looking for a good Thai place near us. This lives up the hype! I got the pad Thai and my bf got the drunken noodles. We both gave the pad Thai 5 stars. It wasn't spicy (I got the mild) and the peanut taste was fantastic! There was a lot of chicken as well. I cooked in a thai restaurant in college for a number of years and this place is the only place I've found since that can make food as spicy as I got accustomed to back then. Their top level of spice is absolutely no joke. This also happened to be the first restaurant me and my wife ate at when we first moved here last month, I'm so glad this was the first dining experience we had in the area. We ordered takeout from here today and the curry we got was awful. There's no other way to explain it. Me and my sister tasted it and separately thought it tasted like a zoo smelled. It was completely inedible. It was repulsive. We called to tell them how bad it was and to ask for a refund or new dish and the refused to do anything about it and said it was good. Everything else we get was a big "eh" the noodle dish we ordered had barely any flavor and the pad Thai was mediocre. Never order from here. There are way better Thai places in GR. read more
