Thai Express is my favorite Thai place. It's near my office, and we typically order carry out and even order it for our customers. Their pad Thai and their chicken fried rice dishes are excellent. The thing that separates Thai Express from other restaurants is there Pad Thai is not dried out and they do a great job with the flavor and spice level. You get a good size portion for a good price. Great Food at a great price! Any of the noodle dishes are massive, I eat more than anyone I know and I can make 3 solid meals out of 1 one them. All I have to say is be careful ordering the peanut noodle because you might end up ordering it 3 times a week like me! My husband used to get take-out from here all the time when he worked close by. I am just now getting into spicy food, so I decided to give it a try. I got the vegetable drunken fried rice. It was so delicious! Lots of veggies and just the perfect amount of spice that sneaks up on you half way through eating it. I had tons leftover for later too. Pretty good Thai food. Beats anything in the area for sure. Good flavor and they don't skimp on the spice (hot means hot). They do get a little backed up sometimes, but that happens with a small kitchen. So don't be surprised if there is a 20+ min wait on weekends at peak times. The pad Thai curry is VERY good. I ordered medium spice and it had an excellent kick to it. I've also ordered pad Thai and drunken noodles from here - all very good. I noticed one review that said the pad Thai didn't come with rice noodles. I can honestly say this has got to be some sort of mistake or miscommunication. I've been ordering from this place for over the last 15 years and recently moved closer to them and ordered more often - this has NEVER happened to me. And I would guess it may have at some point because I literally only ever order dishes that are rice noodle dishes. Used to have Thai in F Hills, but once Thai Express opened years ago locally, they became my favorite! Pad thai, general Tao chicken, pad see ew and curry dishes to order (I don't like green peppers) are just delicious!! Used to order "light" spices and have worked up to medium hot, taste is unbelievable. Now the family is addicted to their carryout and we sometimes enjoy it weekly, yum!! Did a google search for a Thai restaurant near the car dealership we would be heading to in Brighton and this place came up. When we pulled up it was way smaller than I have imagined but we went in just the same; only about 4 tables but the food was really, really good! And, I like that they were very accommodating in recommending little tweaks to the meal I wanted due to my diet preferences. Great choice, fair prices...
