Such a cute space in Gretna with delicious Thai food! My dish had chicken, cashews and veggies with a savory sauce served with jasmine rice, I even had leftovers as a snack for later! My server Jenn was so attentive and outgoing, all the staff were amazing, I'll be back again soon!

Wow... I was struggling to pick a food truck and quickly searched Thai Djing on Yelp. my fellow Yelpers did not disappoint! New Orleans isn't known for its Thai food but that food truck is seriously amazing. The service was great and fast. I ordered the chicken pad Thai and the Thai tea. Huge portions for one person, I shared it with my boyfriend and he loved it also. You can taste all of the flavorful goodness, the crushed nuts give it a totally different taste and the limes. I recommend this place to EVERYONE! Also the price is super affordable ! Can't wait to come back !

It is always an internal struggle on Wednesday and Thursday to forgo this gem lined up on Tulane ave. The chicken pad thai ($7) is absolutely delicious, great flavor, and the serving is huge. It could easily be rationed into two meals but of course I couldn't resist and scarfed down the whole thing. Side note- I love the crushed peanuts and limes on the side.

Every Wednesday and Thursday we look forward to eating from this truck while at work (Tulane Medical Center)! It's the highlight of our day...having a bad work day? Let's go get thai! Depressed after election day? Let's go to the thai truck! It's hump day? Go get thai! The pad thai is one of the best I've ever had. The spice level is just right and with a squeeze of lemon...Mmmm. It's $10 for the shrimp pad thai which seems like a lot, but the serving size is big and usually I can get 2 meals out of it. The lines can get pretty long, but they're decently fast at getting the food out. Also saw that they have their sauces at a couple local grocery stores which is pretty cool.

Thai Djing is the best food truck in New Orleans! They are usually parked at either Tulane medical center or LSU medical center during the week or at the Gretna farmers market on Saturdays! If you see them around town, definitely go check them out! The menu is small but awesome! I stick to their chicken pad thai, which is delicious and huge (and only $7!) The people working there are always really friendly! If you go during peak lunch time there will be a long line but it's worth the wait and it moves relatively quickly! I would suggest going between 1 and 2 to have a shorter wait time! I'm seriously obsessed with this food truck and hope that they open a restaurant soon! Big flavor from a small truck. I personally went with the shrimp pad thai but I did see quite a few people getting the chicken Pad Thai as well. Usually a line but worth the wait. Fast service good people great place for a quick bite.

A excellent food truck, currently on a set schedule. Mon-Tue set at LSU-Health for lunch. A great Pad-Thai chicken or shrimp.

The coolest way to get a slider in NOLA!…read more Streetcars are part of the history and essence of New Orleans. Not only are they a great way to get around, they are also a great way apparently to get a meal. Yes, its actually a truck of some sort that has been converted to a street car. But they serve delightful small portions like cheese fries, donuts, and sliders. It can be difficult to find this little rolling food delivery system. There is no fixed location. So don't trust the location indicated on any static page online. They move around. Customer service is always fantastic. Food is always great. What more could you want??

Yes this business is a spin-off/branch/non-profit venture from the District Donuts folks. And it is…read morea non-profit: http://www.districtstreetcar.com/about The Streatcar (that purposeful typo is hard to type) was near my work today so I my coworker and scarfed down some tasty treats. I had the tofu slider and she had the cheeseburger & fries (waffle style!). The service was fast and my tofu slider was delicious...check my photo. My coworker's waffle fries were super tasty and well-fried because you know I had to help her with those. She said her burger was super tasty but was perhaps a little pink for her. And, of course, I had to get a cinnamon sugar donut which is yummy. The streetcar is the sort that I remember as a tourist conveyance in the 80s so it's cool to see that style back on the street.

Saigon Slim's food truck brethren should take note of what SS is doing…read more Low carb and salad offerings are not common amongst the area food truck scene and SS hits it out of the park. I had the Boo Coo salad (no vermicelli noodles) with lemongrass chicken. Huge, fresh, and filling. I look forward to trying the Saigon Caesar with house made dressing and wonton croutons.

Damn, this place was good…read more Yelp reviewers were showing love for this place, and I was starving after cramming for an Accounting final last night. I checked out the NOLA Food Truck app (if you don't have this app already, get it!) and this place popped as being parked at Kingpin, which I honestly never knew existed even though I'm in this area all the time. Damn, NOLA's got a lot of hidden bars. Anyways, $11 for a bahn mi seemed a little ridiculous, but I got one of their signatures: the Pig Shrimpin, which has pulled pork and shrimp along with all the standard bahn mi stuff. Y'all, this was amazing and hit the spot after a long day of studying. The pork had the most perfect flavor, it wasn't too sweet and had a kick but not too much of one. The shrimp were nicely sized and plentiful. Whatever sauce they used was awesome as well, I'm not a fan of overly saucy bahn mi's where the bread gets soggy and they nailed it here. I also got a side of kimchi; I was gonna get it on the sandwich but the girl who took my order advised me to get it on the side. It doesn't look like much in the picture but it was awesome and packed some serious heat. Nothing is worse than weak kimchi and they got it spot on. They're often parked near Ms. Maes as well which definitely helps elevate the awesomeness. Definitely a standout in the NOLA food truck scene.
