We had a great evening over here. Though we had a slightly delayed greeting to our table initially, we still had great service afterwards. The food was absolutely delicious. I enjoyed my experience. I ordered takeout but the service was great! The host was so nice and personable. I ordered the chicken pad Thai and it was good. It was a little sticky but the taste was perfect, I would certainly visit again! I love the ambiance, very nice, a great space for a team Luncheon or night with the girls. Wow... I was struggling to pick a food truck and quickly searched Thai Djing on Yelp. my fellow Yelpers did not disappoint! New Orleans isn't known for its Thai food but that food truck is seriously amazing. The service was great and fast. I ordered the chicken pad Thai and the Thai tea. Huge portions for one person, I shared it with my boyfriend and he loved it also. You can taste all of the flavorful goodness, the crushed nuts give it a totally different taste and the limes. My favorite Thai food truck! They're usually parked on Tulane Ave. weekday afternoons, and it's always my go to whenever I need to buy a lunch that can fill me up but is also not extremely expensive. I usually get their chicken pad Thai and add a $2 (!!!) Thai tea if I want to treat myself. For $7, the portion size of the chicken pad Thai is ample, and the food itself is good. I hear their curry puffs (when they have them in stock still) are a must try as well. The people who own the truck are also so friendly and so sweet. Thai Djing just started serving in the Point a few nights a week. Love walking to this great food truck and getting dinner. Tried it for the first time last night. Depressed after election day? Let's go to the thai truck! It's hump day? Go get thai! The pad thai is one of the best I've ever had. The spice level is just right and with a squeeze of lemon...Mmmm. It's $10 for the shrimp pad thai which seems like a lot, but the serving size is big and usually I can get 2 meals out of it. Thai Djing is the best food truck in New Orleans! They are usually parked at either Tulane medical center or LSU medical center during the week or at the Gretna farmers market on Saturdays! If you see them around town, definitely go check them out! The menu is small but awesome! I stick to their chicken pad thai, which is delicious and huge (and only $7!) The people working there are always really friendly! If you go during peak lunch time there will be a long line but it's worth the wait and it moves relatively quickly! I would suggest going between 1 and 2 to have a shorter wait time! I'm seriously obsessed with this food truck and hope that they open a restaurant soon! Their Pad Thai is very popular, and one of my favorites. You can even buy the sauce in some of the local groceries. Their portions are MASSIVE and can serve as 2 meals, all for only $7! Papaya salad tasted like it was made with sweet and sour dipping sauce, Tom yum soup was much too tart. Our entrees weren't even better. We had to wait 30 minutes for our entrees. The tables seated after us were done eating by the time we got our entrees. Chang Mai noodles tasted like coconut milk with a bit of curry. Monkey meat was lacking flavor and was cold. Y'all, Thai Djing is so yummy! I am currently addicted to their Laab Gai (chicken salad) with ground chicken, iceberg lettuce and rice on the side. The salad is topped with carrots, red onion, chili powder, fish sauce & lime. They occasionally switch the toppings up a little bit which is fine by me. I sometimes get it without rice and double up on the lettuce if my breakfast was extra carby. I almost always have a hankering for this meal because it hits the palate with salt, savory, bitter, and sour just like good Thai food should. So good. They are parked at Tulane School of Medicine/ Tulane Hospital on Wednesday and Thursday between 11-2. Love 'em. read more

I think the best review I can give for this food truck is that I often bring lunch and just save it for dinner so I can get some Pad Thai. I've heard people complain that there's nothing "special" about their Pad Thai but that's kind of the point. It's delicious, well made simple chicken Pad Thai for a great price. I don't think anywhere in New Orleans makes a better one. The shrimp rolls are also a great addition - although I often don't have room after the Pad Thai. read more

If you want to know where they are going to be each day, just follow them on Facebook- they post where they are going to be parked each morning (usually around 11am).
