Pad see ew
Stephanie O.

Ordered takeout here and got their lunch special hot and spicy basil chicken and an order of their shrimp pad see ew. The hot and spicy chicken basil was so good with the rice and their sauce drenched in it. It wasn't as spicy as I had anticipated but overall very flavorful. The pad see ew was good. I like how it was a bit charred and the noodles were overall very tasty. I ordered by phone and it was made quickly. There is a small parking lot as well. Will definitely try their other dishes next time.

The only Thai place in the area, small shop, but busy spot! Service is quick and the young women were very polite! Food is good, portions are large, and the pricing compared to Bay Area Thai food is sooo cheap! Was expecting a more fried garlic beef, and tastier pad see ew, but still fine! The mango sticky rice was overly covered in coconut milk though, kinda different! If in the area, I will come by again!

Drunken noodle spice level medium with chicken

Lately I've been visiting Lompoc fairly often and being big food lovers, my boyfriend and I have been trying out new places every time. This little place is in a very application.... They do the best with that by advertising on the main road, and we were lucky enough to see that. Please do yourself a favor and don't miss this little hole in the wall. It's fantastic! We are both Thai food lovers and pretty critical... especially of tom kha soup but nothing to complain about here! It was delicious. Perfectly blended and actually tasted buttery smooth. Great bite to it, we ordered spicy. Shrimp was cooked to perfection. We shared pineapple fried rice and drunken noodles both medium spice... next time we'll order spicy. We did get some chili on the side to give it a little more kick. But the flavors were all perfect. Vegetables were fresh. You could tell the tomatoes were just cut, and the noodles were cooked to perfection as well as the rice. Our server was quick and very helpful. The owner, I assume... came around a couple times to check in everyone and was great. I told him the food was fantastic and he responded "thank you, I'll tell the chef" .... May sound silly, but I worked in restaurants most of my life and an owner responding. This way, instead of taking credit is refreshing and, in my opinion, a great business owner. I want to point out whenever I look for a new place. I always look at the reviews on yelp and sort by the worst first. I want to see what kind of bad reviews so I can make my own call. On that note, I will advise anyone reading this review to please take all of the bad reviews with the grain of salt ... or rice as the case may be There was a bad review in here from someone who was mad just because he drove there and they were closed when he got there.... Never even had the food. Another bad review from a couple who showed up as they were closing, and you guessed it never even had the food. Someone complaining because they think the owners were racist.... Let me point out that while I am Caucasian my boyfriend is Mexican. There was also two other tables, both Mexican couples, and we all were treated fantastically. Prompt service, friendly, and not any different than anyone else. Yelp is a funny beast.... People like to come on here and take their aggression out for whatever reason. We will be back to this place often. So make sure you find this little hole in the wall you won't regret it!

This place never disappoints. Great service and great food Hidden gem located in a small quaint building. I have been coming for years and never have I had a meal I did not enjoy.

Came here on a Sunday as they opened. It was a hot day and the inside of the restaurant seemed hotter. I wanted to go so it didn't matter anyway. Nevertheless, I ordered a few items: Drunken Noodles Chicken Satay Orange Chicken Pineapple Fried Rice Chicken Fried Rice Here's how I rate each one out of 5 stars: Drunken Noodles. ***** Chicken Satay ** Orange Chicken * Pineapple Fried Rice **** Chicken Fried Rice *** If I had only ordered the Drunken Noodles, it would have been a slam dunk. If I had only ordered the orange Chicken, I would have been extremely disappointed. The Drunken Noodles are delicious. Excellent. The Orange Chicken should be removed off the menu. My order was soggy and tasted like chicken bits covered in pancake batter. The chicken satay was somewhat dry and had some good flavor. I think they are doing there best to provide cook-to-order family-style meals. The restaurant is family-owned and it's in a small industrial looking building. Not a thing to admire as far as aesthetics, but there are some gems you can find here.

After ordering two "pad Thai specials" there was zero meat in them. $40 dollars out and you couldn't pay me to to go back.

I have no idea how this place has more than 2 stars. I have…read moretwo littles and decided to stop by on our way home rather than go to the other side of town to our usual spot. At first impression I should have known- it was lunch time and empty- you have to self order and navigate their kiosk- no help with two kids and still ask for a tip. There was one younger girl with dark hair in the cluttered kitchen/drink area who didn't even acknowledge us- just went to the back and started rummaging. A second lady showed up and started preparing our sushi order. At that point I noticed the dirty tables and lack of service so decided to change my order "to go." I stood there trying to get their attention and was finally acknowledged. The lady who seemed to be in charge was handing out cash to another younger lady who came in (weird asf too). I finally get my order and bring it home. The nigiri was poorly cut- but edible. My poke bowl had a small amount of tuna that tasted sour and has signs of cooking through citrus, imitation crab, and seaweed salad (extra cost), then I see a whole romaine end, browning and cut up under that making the bulk of the bowl, followed by rice. Nothing like the picture at the kiosk. Then as I try to mix things up for a bite (I am starving at this point) I see a dark black hair. Needless to say I was extremely disappointed and unable to eat my food. I called to let them know and the younger lady who was there said she would let the owner know after sitting down and looking at all the food that was wasted. I decided to call back and ask for a refund. At that point, the younger lady kept repeating what I was saying, as she was relaying the information to what sounded like to be the owner. She told her to tell me that I needed to go back with the food. I let her know that I was unable to do that right now as I had two little kids who needed to nap- that's why I came home. She said she couldn't do a refund- until I went there with the food and my card. I was also told to refrigerate this food- are they going to use it?!? Smh. Ultimately I am out $40, and no lunch. I will never return or recommend to anyone. I'm thinking the reviews are for the teas- which I didn't try.

The table was covered with trash and crumbs even though a male worker was sitting there obviously on a break not sure why he didn't clean the table 1st The sushi cooks seemed very busy and didn't make much contact so we used the kiosk easy enough to order our food I stood outside to wait since the dining room was so unwelcoming the Boba tea was regular price but very small for the price. The food was overcook. The rice was soft and soggy and unseasoned Avocado was over ripe and mushy. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Check out "sake" sushi instead.

Unfortunately, the food has become so inconsistent. The first time we had a disappointing dish, we let it slide. Then it happened again, and again. Unfortunately, this last experience was the final straw for us. After a rough day, we decided to order delivery, hoping for a good meal. Instead, the cashew chicken arrived cold, was chewy, and had a strange taste to it. The fried rice was just as disappointing and tasted like it had been doused in fish oil. I almost didn't bother writing this review because, in the past, the owner has been dismissive of our concerns and doesn't seem very receptive to customer feedback. I have even gone out of my way to send emails privately rather than leave a negative Yelp review because I believe in giving businesses a chance to make things right. However, there comes a point when you just can't keep overlooking the same issues. We have given this place several chances because we genuinely enjoyed it in the past, but for what they charge and the quality of food we have been receiving, it just isn't worth it anymore. It's disappointing to say, but we won't be returning.

When we arrived, we discovered that you need to order at the counter first, then take your number and find a seat in the dining area. With my son being in a wheelchair, it's always worrisome when they have this type of seating situation, as I am never sure if there's seating available, much less appropriate seating available for our family. However we lucked out and we were able to find a table right away. There's also counter seating available, and water is self serve with a dispenser in the corner . The food came out hot and fresh and tasted better than I expected! My pho ga had great flavor and the chicken was tender. My family also got pho tai, a vermicelli bowl and the bbq plate with lemon grass pork chop. Everything was excellent. The only frustrating thing about dining here is that there are no utensils on the table like most Vietnamese places I dine at, and frequently having to ask the staff for things that you've already asked for and they forget to bring gets annoying.
