Got Pad Thai. It was delicious. I wouldn't have minded if there was a little more chicken but still tasty!

I really do need to update this review! This is very much our neighborhood go to place when needing some nourishment when we don't feel like cooking, didn't make it to the grocery store, or have out of town guests. We have been coming here for 10 years now and keep coming back for a reason - the service is good, the food is good, and they greet us like family. This is not fancy cutting edge fusion food, but is basic Thai food. We almost always order the chicken saté as an appetizer. Their peanut sauce is the best anywhere. The pot stickers and spring rolls are also very good. I very much enjoy their curry - my favorites are red , green and panang. I also love their Bra Ram and Thai Cashew. My husband's favorite is drunken noodles. They have a full bar, Boba, and Thai tea. Service is quick and the food comes out fresh and perfectly cooked every time. They do takeout and delivery. So yes - I highly recommend Thai Corner. read more

Stopped to get the wife's favorite Thai food this weekend. And on this trip, the food tasted better than ever before. I ordered a Thai tea with chicken pad thai and ordered it very spicy. It was seasoned perfectly, and they also provided a spice rack in case I wanted it even spicier. The service was great as well. read more

We were surprise to see this place pretty empty when we walked in, especially since there was a lot of events happening in downtown. Our server recommended the Drunken Noodles and Pad See Ew, which we did order. The spice level of the drunken noodles was just right and had a lot of flavor, both dishes came with thick noodles which we weren't really a fan of. When we come back we're definitely trying the yellow curry and regular Pad Thai. read more

The best thai restaurant in Reno, in the heart of downtown. I love the drunken noodles with shrimp. I also get the green curry with beef and tom yum soup if im eating with friends. Service is fast, interior is a little dated with quirky Thai culture decorations. I always come here at least once when i am in Reno. read more

I stopped in with colleagues for lunch. We were at a training in the El Dorado convention rooms up the street, and Thai Corner Cafe was a super quick walk away. Service was quick and friendly, and the food was DELICIOUS!!! We each got something different, including different levels of spiciness, and every enjoyed their meal. Jet all just letting you know stopped here and had the Thai wings they were really good I expected for the 8 bucks to get only 5-6 wings but got 8 while I'm not a fan of sweet wings these were great the chili spice cut through the sweet well and since that was my protein For the night I also ordered the veggie spring rolls and for 6$ they were fresh crunchy and the peanut sauce was also really good I'm looking forward to trying the curry and pad Thai on the near future while the prices are a bit high for entrees I was happy to see that you start with the veggie versions of the dishes and can choose your meats which are of course extra. We placed an order online for pickup. We were trying to grab a quick bite before a show. We saw that they had pretty good reviews. Parking for this place is a challenge, due to it being snack dab near the casinos. I was surprised to see a happy cow sticker on the door before picking up our order. Aka they know vegan. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The pad thai, which is a staple in our household was just okay. We didn't get that rich orangish color and the flavor just wasn't bam. Came here for dinner as I was craving for some spicy soup. We tried the Tom yum, spicy level and it was very good and tasty. The mushrooms were Al center and the broth was flavorful. I easily recommend this establishment if you are downtown and craving thai food (and don't mind spending a little more). My journey began this morning when I received an email from a certain food delivery company for $12 off any delivery order of $15+. Being the lazy schmuck that I am, I thought this was a pretty good deal (it's not) and I've been craving thai. Thai Corner Cafe was the closest thai restaurant that delivered through this company and now here I am. I ordered the pad kee mao/drunken noodles with pork ($12.95) and the red curry with pork ($12.95). I asked for a 3/5 spicy level for both and asked for broccoli instead of mushrooms on my pad kee mao, which cost an additional dollar. I understand why they do that, but I think it's unfair because I'm not asking for extra food. (One reason for only 4 stars.) The food itself tasted amazing!!! There was no lack of meat, the spice was right on, the noodles were not overcooked (aka mushy), and there was plenty of food. Both of my dishes were outstanding. Another reason I gave it only 4 stars is because the food is definitely overpriced. There are plenty of thai places in Reno that sell the same dishes of the same quality for several dollars less. I understand they must inflate their prices due to their location, but I won't order from here again. read more

I want to start the review by saying I enjoyed the food, but not so much the customer service. My friend and I came in and were almost immediately asked if we were ready to over. We told the employee it was our first time here so we would need some more time. Once the employee brought out the water they walked to the back for like 20 minutes. I had to go to the back of the restaurant and ask the employee if we could put in our order, the employee was talking to their co workers and realized she forgot about us. I have only had Thai food once before but I was wondering around downtown and it was a little chilly so I wanted to sit inside somewhere. I came upon this place and it looked clean and they had Pad Thai which is what I tried previously back home. When I walked in I was asked to wait in the lobby until they checked my temperature. I was shown to a clean table that was distanced from other patrons. My server, the owner I think, was very nice and made some suggestions for drinks...Thai Sweet Tea...a little too sweet for me but still glad I got it to try it. I ordered Pad Thai and it was so so good! The sauce was savory and so flavorful! I definitely took over half home but I really wanted to eat more. They are following all COVID protocols. In fact this is the cleanest restaurant I have been in for a long time. I will be back the next time I come to town and now that I know they deliver...even better! My husband & I came here to grab a bite since it was nearby our hotel stay. We loved the food! The aroma & taste was awesome & yummy! The soup we ordered (first time trying) it had a really nice aroma. However, we prefer ours to be more coconut-ty, our soup was more on the sour/lime side. Still good. The fried rice and thai coffee was yummy! I am a big fan of fried rice, this place did really good with it. Spicy thai basil was bomb! The flavors was a big hit for us. I mixed some of the sauce with my fried rice, gave it some spiciness to it(: Lastly, the sweet rice & mango! Omg! We always wanted to try this dessert but we tend to skip it. I am so glad we ordered it. It was not overly sweet & the sticky rice with a hint of pandan (I believe) was a good level for our taste! We loved it! As for why I did not give it 5star, I believe in 'good' customer service, we asked for 1-2 things but was not given. Overall, we had an awesome experience with our foods.
