I really do need to update this review! This is very much our neighborhood go to place when needing some nourishment when we don't feel like cooking, didn't make it to the grocery store, or have out of town guests. We have been coming here for 10 years now and keep coming back for a reason - the service is good, the food is good, and they greet us like family. This is not fancy cutting edge fusion food, but is basic Thai food. We almost always order the chicken saté as an appetizer. Their peanut sauce is the best anywhere. The pot stickers and spring rolls are also very good. I very much enjoy their curry - my favorites are red , green and panang. I also love their Bra Ram and Thai Cashew. My husband's favorite is drunken noodles. They have a full bar, Boba, and Thai tea. Service is quick and the food comes out fresh and perfectly cooked every time. They do takeout and delivery. I want to start the review by saying I enjoyed the food, but not so much the customer service. My friend and I came in and were almost immediately asked if we were ready to over. We told the employee it was our first time here so we would need some more time. Once the employee brought out the water they walked to the back for like 20 minutes. I had to go to the back of the restaurant and ask the employee if we could put in our order, the employee was talking to their co workers and realized she forgot about us. I have only had Thai food once before but I was wondering around downtown and it was a little chilly so I wanted to sit inside somewhere. I came upon this place and it looked clean and they had Pad Thai which is what I tried previously back home. When I walked in I was asked to wait in the lobby until they checked my temperature. I was shown to a clean table that was distanced from other patrons. My server, the owner I think, was very nice and made some suggestions for drinks...Thai Sweet Tea...a little too sweet for me but still glad I got it to try it. I ordered Pad Thai and it was so so good! The sauce was savory and so flavorful! I definitely took over half home but I really wanted to eat more. They are following all COVID protocols. In fact this is the cleanest restaurant I have been in for a long time. I will be back the next time I come to town and now that I know they deliver...even better! The soup we ordered (first time trying) it had a really nice aroma. However, we prefer ours to be more coconut-ty, our soup was more on the sour/lime side. Still good. I mixed some of the sauce with my fried rice, gave it some spiciness to it(: Lastly, the sweet rice & mango! Omg! We always wanted to try this dessert but we tend to skip it. I am so glad we ordered it. It was not overly sweet & the sticky rice with a hint of pandan (I believe) was a good level for our taste! We loved it! I found a bug in my food and they refused to let me send my food back and kicked me out while having to pay for it!

A group of we're going to see the finale of The Chosen at the Riverside Theatre and wanted to meet for dinner. They all wanted to go to Pho 777 but Pho 777 is NOT GLUTEN SAFE. That's a big problem for me, plus I get really sick from MSG. So on a mission to find food close to the theatre, I discovered Thai Corner Cafe. WHAT A GEM! They are very knowledgeable about food additives. I was shown the things on their menu that are safe for me to eat. My favorites, spring rolls and Drunken Noodles, were among the safe foods. Tom Kha soup was not. Oh well. I was told when we returned that evening to mention my need for gluten-free and no MSG to our server. Four of us arrived for dinner an hour before our movie. The food and service did not disappoint. Everyone in our group said Thai Corner Cafe will be their new go to for dinner and a movie night. We were fed and off to our movie by 6:50. Oh my god, the fresh spring rolls with tofu are amazing and thai iced tea is perfect for the summer! The spring rolls are nicely packed together which makes for easy eating and the peanut sauce is warm. I placed the peanut sauce on top of the spring roll opening and bliss. The combination of fresh and warm, cool and savory was heaven! Fear not though. People with peanut intolerance can opt for sweet chili sauce-- it's not spicy. I've been on the hunt for a Thai restaurant that has both chicken satay and fresh spring rolls (with TOFU) and I found it! My bonus mom and I just stopped in for a quick snack and were pleasantly surprised. All the items came out in a timely manner and tasted phenomenal! To start, the Thai tea was refreshing and sweetened just right. The chicken satay was seasoned and cooked to perfection, the fresh spring rolls were cold, wrapped tight and served with a tasty warm peanut sauce and finally the steamed vegetables were steamed perfectly and still had a nice crunch.
