We usually have to hit up Central Avenue in Albuquerque to find decent Thai food, but I'm glad we found this hidden gem. We ordered the pad thai and mangoes with sticky rice to bring home. A half hour later and it was still hot and ready to eat. The portions were so generous that our family of 3 was able to eat it for lunch AND dinner. We will be ordering from here again soon. read more

We have ordered take out twice within the last two weeks. Pad Thai was really unique. It had the egg flat right on top of the dish (Crape looking) good flavor, but wish they had put more limes in the box. We also ordered Tom Kah Kai (coconut soup) OMG!!!!!! So flavorful. The amount of chicken and mushrooms, "perfect". This is definitely somewhere we will frequent in the future. The staff is friendly as well and made sure we had the condiments we needed for a take out order. The two times I've been there, lots of people are eating inside the restaurant. Busy places means, good food, and longevity for the business. read more

Excellent food and outstanding service! The Tom Kah Kai soup hit the spot. Temperature hot which is so important when eating soup. The Satay Chicken was delicious and the cucumber salad was yummy!!! read more

Had a family get together and they accommodated a large table very well. Food is always delicious and service is excellent. Amanda was excellent and very attentive. read more

I've been here more times than I can count! And it's because my whole family loves it! My favorite to get is the silver noodles with chicken but the curry is my favorite curry! I love that I can get it with no heat cuz it has so much flavor on its own. Everything I have had here has been perfect! The Thai tea is yummy, the money bags are crunchy and delicious, and fried bananas maybe my favorite dessert nearby. Will be back many more times! read more

Best Thai food in town!! I love their mango salmon and fried rice, can't go wrong with either. Their service is also great - nothing but smiles from the staff. read more

I came in for the first time today, and I can say that I will return again! I got yellow curry and it was flavorful and fragrant, both things I enjoy about a great curry. The service was great and friendly, the whole visit was A+ Would recommend and would eat again read more

Horrible service. They managed to not take orders for the entire table, then seemed to think nothing was out of place when not every guest had food in front of them. After serving the partial meals, the waiter never returned. Glasses remained empty. Guests remained hungry. Tofu Pad Thai was tasty, but the tofu was extremely tough and overcooked. Chicken Pad Thai was tasteless, like they forgot to put any sauce on it. Finally a check was brought at the end. Avoid this place. Go to Dunkin Donuts across the parking lot instead. read more

So glad to have a healthy alternative here on the west side. Delicious and affordable.

Great food, excellent service! Everyone we encountered was very friendly and the service was really fast. The portions were large, so we had plenty to take home for later. Really glad we stopped by! read more

This place was recommended by my boss, he indicated that the curry was amazing! I had the pad thai w/out fish sauce and mild hot and it was beyond beyond amazing ! The pineapple curry with white rice was beyond delicious! The waiter was super helpful and sweet! read more

Friendly service and great food! The money bags appetizer is really good and we also enjoyed the Pad Thai and tofu vegetable soup. The kids (10 and 12) loved this place too! Highly recommended! read more

I was so excited to see a new Thai restaurant open right around the corner from us. After reading all of the positive reviews I was eager to give it a try. We arrived around 5pm on a Friday evening and only two of the tables were occupied, so we were able to be seated immediately. A waiter came over promptly with our drink order and we indicated we were ready to order. He indicated that he would grab our waitress to take our order and so we waited...10 minutes...15 minutes.....nearly 20 minutes later, as we were getting anxious and discussing leaving, our waitress arrived at our table ready to take our order. Prior to ordering I asked if specific menu item contained peanuts (due to an allergy), the waitress stated that she really doesn't know what is included in the dish. That's fine, I asked if she could find out for me. She then indicated that the cook has told her many times what is in the dish but she just can't remember. I decided to move on. My companion ordered the Pad See Ew so I indicated I would have the same. This is how the unusual exchange went: Me: I'll have the same as him. Waitress: You want order the same thing? Me: Yes, Please Waitress: The same EXACT thing?! Me: Yes, Please Waitress: To the last minute detail? Me: YES, please, 2 dishes of the exact same thing. Please. Waitress: Are you sure? (What???) At this point I feel uncertain as to what the issue is, but she seems to finally be satisfied with the answers to her odd inquisition and proceeds to put our order in. The food arrived at our table quickly and although we ordered identical dishes, there were clear differences. For one, the order I received was large, while my companion's plate was significantly smaller (maybe a quarter of the size). We dig in to the large plate only to discover that the noodles are complete mush. Not just overcooked, but soggy, sticky and of an odd consistency. We deemed inedible and moved on to the smaller plate, which thankfully was much better, but of course in limited supply. When the waitress appeared to ask us how the food was, I showed her the issue with the first dish. To which her reply was, "I can give you a box to take it home, if you'd like". She didn't say it in a sarcastic or rude way, but in a completely serious manner. We declined asked for our bill and decided we were finished with this particular experience. The total for this was $40 and a complete waste. We were genuinely disappointed by this restaurant. Both the service and the food were lacking. Needless to say, we will not return and will stick to the more quality, consistent and friendly Thai restaurants in town. read more

This is easily the best Thai restaurant in town, in my opinion. Finding good Thai in Albuquerque can be a challenge. My favorite thing is not on the menu, but something they will make upon request - massaman curry. My husband also loves the stuffed chicken wings. It's definitely worth trying this place if you are looking for good Thai in Albuquerque. I've also tried the satay chicken, the BBQ pork spare ribs, the duck curry and the pad Thai and been pleased with all of it. read more

I LOVE the owner here. He runs a tight, clean, tasty ship. I was really excited to hear he was opening a Thai place. We went there with a large group today for dinner. We had the curry fried rice, the shrimp fried rice, the pineapple fried rice, the yellow curry, and the pan fried silver noodles. The curry was the perfect balance of sweet, rich coconut milk and spicy garlic studded with potatoes and carrots. The curry fried rice had all of those same qualities and a lovely bite to the rice. My fiance really enjoyed the shrimp fried rice. He cleared his plate! We had a baby in our group and she enjoyed the food, as well! The pineapple fried rice was not skimpy with the chicken, the nuts, or the pineapple! It's a lovely dish! The staff was friendly, prompt, and accommodated our table's allergies with professional ease. We'll definitely be back! read more

We went for dinner and placed our order. The restaurant was so cold we asked for our order to go. I ordered fried rice without the chicken, I don't eat meat. I live 30 minutes from the restaurant. When I got home with my food, the rice was full of chicken. I called and spoke with Devon the manager. She said she would give me a store credit or come back for new food. I asked for my money back. She said she would have to call the manager. She called me back to tell me that there wasn't chicken in my rice. I asked for my money back, she told me I had to bring back the uneaten food. Horrible way to treat a customer. I will take the uneaten rice back as a matter of principle, I don't like to be called a liar. I will never go back after that and suggest any other place to eat than here! read more

Poor service, understaffed, and some of the vegetables were soggy. Ignored by staff walking right past us...took about five minutes for waitperson to acknowledge us and even be given water/menu. Won't be back. Stay away. Go to Thai Vegan instead. read more

I canceled my thai salad because my husband's pad thai came out 10 minutes before salad was ready (clueless waitress wouldn't let me cancel my salad, saying "BUT IT'S ALMOST READY!") so we paid full bill just to get out of there ... by the way, the tofu in the thai salad was inedible ... the thai tea was good ... but isn't it always? I should have taken a photo of our plates full of food ... my husband was waiting for me to get my meal so he wouldn't have to eat alone ... YES - THEY CHARGED US FOR 2 UNEATEN MEALS ... don't bother going ... the Thai place in Corrales is just as good (read: just as bad) read more

It was our first time in. Nice place very attentive staff. We had the Duck Curry that was amazing and my wife had the Pad Thai which was excellent. Not easy to get "great" Thai... This is one of those places. Happy to have them here on the west side! read more

Their pad Thai shrimp is good but not for an average Thai restaurant. Too expensive for what you get. I would go back if they lowered their prices . read more

I wasn't that impressed. First off their service was not great. We stopped in for an early dinner on a Friday. There was plenty of open tables - this place is not that big either. We sat down right away, but waited around awhile to be served. A group of 6 arrived shortly after we did. They waited for over 10 minutes to be seated- eventually they had to sit in two separate groups, the wait staff did not want to push two tables together for them! My husband and I both ordered red curry with brown rice. Nothing to write home about. The portions were big, but the flavor was just off to us. My husband did not like the brown rice at all, which says a lot. He will eat just about anything. Kept kept saying the texture and color( which was purple), was throwing him off. It's a shame, the Westside is sparse when it come to ethnic cuisine. I was hoping this new place would be the start of something amazing for us Westsider's. read more

The food is fresh, high quality and delicious. The service was not high quality, attentive, friendly, or nice. Devon is rude to us from the moment we walked into the restaurant. Two of the entrees came out several minutes before the last. It would have been nice for her to acknowledge that when she returned with the third meal. Lastly, instead of jasmine rice, she served us the brown rice. When I opened it and saw the purple color, she said that's not yours. Because of how long everything had taken, I said it was ok and I would just keep it to save the time and so I wouldn't have to wait. When we got the check we were up charged for the brown rice and two additional brown rices. $3.00 is not a big deal, but it was her mistake to bring it out and then charge for a rice we dIdnt receive. I will consider returning, but only for take out. The waitress could benefit from some customer service training. read more

I was excited to see that there was a new Thai place by the movie theatre! The Thai tea was yummy but I was warned that it was overly sweet, and my it was ssssweet. The Thai money bag appetizer was good but a bit oily with an overbearingly sweet mandarin sauce. My beef salad was okay but wasn't amazing. The pad Thai with the omelette around it sounded so invented and interesting but was salty, the fried tofu added was dry, and overall the worst pad Thai I had ever had. The curries are the only thing that had some sort of balance of sweet and savory out of the entrees. The mango sticky rice was beautifully presented and tasted yummy. If you want some heat the Thai hot is not even that spicy compared to other Thai restaurants. Overall this place was not bad. It had decent service but definitely needs some cohesion with some of their dishes. read more

Excellent Thai food! We've had their red curry, stuffed chicken wings (awesome!!), Thai fried rice, basil stir fry-all delicious. Wasn't on the regular menu, but one of their specials yesterday was miso ramen. It was delicious, reminded me of the miso ramen at the old Noodle King downtown (now closed), which is one of my all-time favorite soups. read more

The dishes we ordered were as close to authentic Thai as experienced in New Mexico. Great curry but the fried rice was better. Sizable portions can be shared for variety. read more

Best Thai food I've had in Albuquerque! The pineapple curry is exactly spicy enough and so delicious! Pad Thai is delicious as well! I'll definitely be coming back read more

We had a wonderful dinner, complete with appetizers, hot tea, wine and dessert at a great value and with fantastic service.

Thai Boran shorts my carryout order, then they said they would give us a free Entre' to compensate for the inconvenience.....oh ok cool.. When we went by to pick it up the next day, the owner went back on their word and said no, they would credit us a brown rice, a dollar. Ok, first of all its not the money, its the principal. You don't go back on your word if you expect people to pay for food and service in this country but its ok. Right down the street is a Thai restaurant called "Thai Cuisine" and we frequent there as well (Sort of spreading the love/wealth). We were over looking the over pricing that Thai Boran is well known for but they obvious have some serious issues with their business if they can be so petty as to go back on their word. like they saying says, "where there is smoke there is fire". no thanks, I'll pass...Thai Cuisine it is. P.S. Thai Boran. You were different than your competition. You were never better. There are other Thai restaurants that represent the culture much better and with integrity. read more

A favorite of ours but when they say something is spicy they mean it so expect that lol

I ordered the ribs they were good tasting but no meat and only 5 ribs for $12. I went to restroom and they took my water and remaining rice so I did not get to eat my whole meal. I might give them one more try read more

This is one of those few times I go out of my way to write a review. My wife suggested we try this place and try their pineapple fried rice. We also ordered the Thai Money Bags. I can not describe the pleasurous taste that I have encountered. Thumbs up. Definitely a place to go out of your way for. Also had their mango sticky rice, delicioso read more

Love all their food. Just wish the restaurant was a little bigger inside as it gets very crowded.

We have been there twice and have been extremely happy with everything. Enjoyed the Thai toast appetizers. The curry is great as is the Thai Brian steak and the Thai eggplant. Save room for the fried banana desert. read more

The service is great the food is great one on the most well tasting Thai food in Albuquerque I highly recommend this restaurant!

this is the best thai place in existence, not even an argument i wanted to order more to go. real fricking good dudes

Very excited to try this place after reading very good reviews. I do have a peanut allergy, so I have to be careful with Thai places. Looking at the online menu, I saw that there were no peanuts listed with the menu items I was interested in. I made the poor assumption that they would not contain peanuts and forgot to ask the server if the meal I ordered contained peanuts. That was my mistake. I got the food and saw crushed peanuts on the side. I asked one of the servers if the meal had peanuts and they answered that they were only on the side. I then took 5 bites of the food and started to have an allergic reaction. I did not touch the area that was near the crushed peanuts. I overheard the servers talking behind the bar talking about knowing better than eating at a place that has this kind of food. Even after their discussion, which I thought related to the peanuts on the side, neither of the servers came to my table to tell me about it. After I stopping eating my meal and chugged my water, the servers did not come over at all to refill the empty water glasses. I do realize not asking about the meal containing peanuts was my fault, but the way the servers acted was unprofessional and potentially deadly. If I was any more sensitive to peanuts or had not taken an allergy pill before hand as a precaution, I could have died. I wish I could leave a good review for this restaurant because the few bites of food I had was very good. I doubt I will recommend this restaurant to anyone based on the extremely poor service. read more

Hard to give a good review to a restaurant you have to get up and walk out of, because they never brought the food. My daughter and I arrived right at the lunch hour, So it was not some weird off time, with only one gentleman sitting in the restaurant. We placed our order and waited, Our server was friendly, brought the tea we drank it then had to get her attention ask for more tea while we waited. After about 20 minutes and me looking straight into the kitchen noticing no one was even in there. I let the girl know we had to be across town to pick up children from school. She said, "yes your order is on its way out." Then during time the restaurant begin to fill and even other people were getting their meals. Now she knew we were restless, so then she just avoided our table and would not come over. Finally it got to the point of ridiculousness, even if our food was to come right then, and it never did, we would not have time to eat it. She ordered ginger chicken and I had curry chicken. Nothing that should've been that unusual, I could've got up cooked it myself and eaten in all that time. We left money on the table for the tea. No explanation was given as to what was going on. I had eaten there once in the past, the food was decent and is why we returned. What was the deal!! I reminded her again on the way out that we had children that cannot wait past a certain point to be picked up. All I got was a blank face. We had no food and had to miss a lunch with not even time left to go somewhere else. This was a lunch-which was supposed to be a fun mother-daughter time. Once my daughter starts her pick ups she has to be at two different schools and then a day care pick up, all of that with no time to eat. Disappointing and maddening! read more
