Take out feast all good except the Pad Thai
Charles C.

In town and decide to give this place another go! Had happy hour and Drunken Noodle, Tom Yum, and the classic Pad Thai all were solid, glad I picked this for lunch!

Thai Bloom is a nice spot, and I really appreciate that they have TVs to watch football -- something far too few restaurants in Portland offer. They also have a full bar, which is a plus. I ordered one of the curry dishes; it was alright, nothing particularly special, but still satisfying. Prices skew a little high, though not unreasonable for the area. Overall, a decent spot if you're craving Thai food and want to catch a game at the same time.

Service was ok but the food was meh. I got the boat noodle and tamarind fried wings. The wings were on the dry side and the boat noodle was too salty, too much MSG. Wouldnt recommend.

ordered the massaman lamb and pad thai (with glass noodles instead of rice noodles) to share amongst the two of us. service was great, super attentive and friendly (was very kind even when my mom kept speaking thai to our server even though he was not thai haha) the pad thai was a bit too salty for my moms liking, and the noodles unfortunately were a bit undercooked but otherwise, we had a great experience here and the environment was lively. happy hour is worth checking out! seems like they had a vast amount of good things to try out.

Hands down the best Thai food I've devoured in a very long time! We had a party of 10 show up on a Saturday evening with NO reservations and they were able to seat us almost immediately. I was amazed. I loved their modern menu yet very traditional Thai entrees. Definitely order any of their hot teas (comes out in a nice little personal clay teapot). Wings were on point with the daikon. Pad Thai and Pad See Ew were also phenomenal. Both yellow and green curry were fantastic. And the service was attentive yet not overwhelming.

Shanaz A.

Nice service, good food and clean interior. Pad see ew pretty tasty, I do recommend it!

Would have liked them a little more crispy so when they got to me they weren't soggy. Crab Rangoon 7/10 Okay size and taste. Was a bit dry and needed a little bit of something. Idk maybe a pinch of salt and pepper? Crab fried rice 8.5/10. Good portion and I could actually see some shredded crab. Wasn't oily. Not too many veggies. Massamun curry 9/10 very good. Not too sweet and very flavorful. I like the smaller shredded kind of chicken they did vs big weird chunks most places do. Jasmine rise was basic rice. Chimi cheesecake 10/10 this was perfect it was a little warm still and tasted like a homemade toaster strudel Guava juice 2/10 wayyyyyy sweeter than I was expecting. Very very sugary. But I will say it was fruity. I did half water half juice and mixed in a shot of vodka and it was delicious. Overall I'm pretty happy with this! I have plenty of leftovers.

I was disappointed with my experience at this Thai restaurant. Unfortunately, I could not finish my…read moremeal because I became concerned about the food-handling practices I observed. I noticed that the servers were wearing the same gloves while performing different duties and did not appear to change their gloves between tasks. This raised serious concerns for me about cross-contamination and overall food safety. The food may have been enjoyable, but proper hygiene and safe food-handling practices are extremely important. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and ensures that staff follow appropriate glove-changing and food-safety procedures.

The filling was a bit too mush for me but the flavor was okay. I think paying for $9 for 4 egg rolls is a bit pricey as well. The papaya salad was refreshing but was different from what I am accustomed to as I typically eat it with more fermentation and more padek. Though it's different, the flavor overall wasn't too bad. decent spice for a medium. Both the panang curry and pad se ew tasted good overall. The curry had a good thick consistency and good balance of flavor between coconut milk, herbs and curry paste. Just a bit on the sweet end but overall still good. I could probably say the same with the pad se ew as well. Good balance of flavors but just a bit on the sweet side for me personally. No complaints on the service; aunty was nice, checked up on us appropriately, didn't wait long for the food or the check. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice and plenty of Thai decor.

They always greet me with a smile and are consistently warm and friendly. The food is always fresh, delicious, and consistently prepared. What means the most to me is that it never upsets my stomach. Back then, I felt their prices for everything was a bit higher than most other similar places around, well that's not the case anymore. We recently dined here twice, both during lunch hours. Service is attentive, and the place felt comfortable. My kiddos had the Pho ga but felt the chicken was a bit dry and lack flavor, but otherwise delicious. I enjoyed my beef Pho, it wasn't the most flavorful but a very solid 8/10. The crispy pork rolls were excellent, fried perfectly, and both the Vietnamese coffee as well as the pineapple smoothie for the kiddos were well made.
