This is the best Thai food we've had outside of Thailand. We ordered the Thaibloom special seafood wrap, the pumpkin curry, ahi larb, and garlic pork. All we're excellent, appropriately spiced, and authentic. Our waiter was great, and asked each of us how spicy we wanted our food. We got take out on a very busy night for them but the customer service was excellent and the food was delicious! We got drunken noodles, fried rice, seafood mix platter, and crab Rangoon. Everything was wonderful and portions were generous. No skimping on the seafood or adding filler veggies and rice. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is that all the food was a bit heavy on the salt. I love restaurants that aren't afraid to season the food but just a little lighter on the salt would make it perfect. I'll definitely be returning! read more

I sure love this place. For months I had nothing but Panang curry because it is just so good. Switched to pad see ew for comfort food this fall. Today I needed something light so had salad rolls. Food is amazing but watch your credit card! Been there 3 times within the past year and on all 3 visits, within a week or 2 after my visit, fraudulent charges from various businesses in California showed up on my credit cards which have had to be replaced each time which is a hassle. Since I've been going there since 2014 and this credit card issue only started within the past year, I think it's an employee most likely selling cc #'s or using them for personal use but can't prove it. After contacting the manager who pretended that she didn't know or understand what I explained to her and responded in her broken English that their located in Beaverton and they have no employee there that would do something like that and she'll look into it further, after getting no response I have decided not to return to this long time favorite restaurant even with cash. I also plan to report this to local authorities. Giving 2 stars because the food is good, but for the credit card nuisance, it deserves 1 star. Decided to post my experiences as others may have experienced something similar but never made the connection with Thai Bloom. As for me, 3 times is too coincidental to ignore! read more

Good menu options, Pad Thai pretty good, drunken noodles fair, average happy hour. I've visited several times but I was a bit soured at my last visit. I ordered an appetizer from the happy hour menu and one of the staff came by my table and suggested an alternate dish stating I'd enjoy it more. I agreed to try it and thought it was just OK. Unfortunately, when the bill arrived the suggested item was 4 times more expensive than what I had originally ordered. Of course that hadn't been mentioned when promoting it. If I ever return I'll be aware of this tactic they use! It seemed a bit dubious. read more

I am writing this review of Friday, May 19 Happy Hour in Bar. After at least 30+ meals here I decided to order something I have never ordered. It was fried rice with pork. The rice was overcooked and mushy with the pieces of pork very tough and hard to chew. I will come back because I know I can get great Thai food both in the dining room and the bar. This place knows Thai. I have lived in Portland for decades looking for every place to have good Thai food. Through out the years I have found these places and marked them down on my radar. I have also learned what each of these restaurants do well and am pretty consistent in what I order.. Creature of habit I guess. I was excited to learn of Thai Bloom, since I live in the area and usually have to travel to Portland to find good eats. I went there a couple weeks ago to see if they could measure up to my usuals. I was more than pleasantly surprised. I had the Druken Noodles (which is now my favorite) with chicken. As a creature of habit I have only tried a few other entrees, all of which were very good but not as quite good as my favorite. I will put this place at the top of my list for Thai. Especially since they are local and I no longer need to travel to Portland for good Thai eats. I found their food excellent and their staff very eager to ensure everything was a great experience. Usually I find that the food is good but the experience is average.. Not the case here, I asked the waitress to compliment the chef and he came out and ask if everything was to my liking or if anything could be better. You don't see this kind of care just anywhere. Kudos to this new restaurant and I will continue to keep it at the top of my list. read more

Great take-out option. The restaurant itself is large and they have a nice bar. They offer to make tofu dishes with fried or fresh tofu. Favorites: panang curry with fresh tofu, pork potstickers, green papaya salad, and tom yum noodles. read more

Just moved to the area a few months ago. I always went to Thai Noodle Etc in thr mall across the street from Thai Bloom. Finally decided to go here for the first time tonight. The ambiance was great & it was a full house - a good sign for a first timer. We were helped by Nam (lady waitress). She was so friendly and helpful! She recommended the crab wontons, which were so tasty! I ordered the thai iced tea and my boyfriend and I ordered the yellow curry & crab fried rice. Needless to say, it was all so delicious! And the best part --- warm towels after your meal! Such a great experience, will definitely be coming back! The only reason why this review got 4 stars instead of 5: the wait for the food. Longer than most places, but that's what happens with a full house....but DEFINITELY worth the wait! read more

We tried a little bit of everything! Came during happy hour, but ordered off both menus. Service was attentive and friendly. We got the fried pumpkin, fried tofu, pot stickers, tom kah soup, drunken noodles, and the halibut---all were so incredible, so fresh and full of flavor. I haven't had really great thai in a long time, and we were all blown away----a very special gem in Beaverton. The hype they are receiving on Yelp alone is warranted---it certainly surpassed our expectations. And everyone is right, the house-made coconut ice cream is seriously a must try! Ordered carry out, crab pad thai, garlic pork, seafood cream cheese wontons. I've definitely had better and bigger portions elsewhere. The pork was a bit dry and tough, the seafood wontons tasted like imitation seafood salad. The pad thai was good although I couldn't really taste the crab. read more

Consistently the best value, quality, freshness, service of anywhere in the metro area. Easily my favorite spot in Beaverton. Been eating here for years and they only improve with each visit.
