Waited 30 minutes for nothing. Do not recommend. Everyone was served while we waited for 30 minutes to be told we need to reorder due to a system failure. Then proceeded to wait 15+ more minutes for spring rolls. No refills on our water either. I am writing this as we are about to leave because this is ridiculous. I've been a long time Yelp reader but never once posted a review of my own. I really like this place that I have enough urges to sign up and write one. I guess that must mean something. To tell you the truth, I haven't tried most of the dish on the menu yet since I usually order the special order which are known among the Thais. Something about me: I rarely order the dishes well known at Thai Restaurants since I can cook most of them much better than most places ( I think) I'm Thai and I'm a pretty good cook for my own taste bud (and to those who are lucky enough to get to try Ha!) Many dishes at most Thai restaurants in DFW is too fusion to my taste or too sweet. (Which I don't understand but I kinda understand??) I loves flavorful Thai dishes. I eat really spicy, real Thai chili pepper spicy. Spicy Korean food is my level two at most. Just in case you think this matters :D About this place. The new owner took over this restaurant sometimes in Feb or March. I have never visited this place before that but I have heard that some of the dishes are ok some are really good some are meh :( Well, enough about the prior owner. The new owners are these really nice couples well known among Thai community in DFW. They serve up delicious food at Thai Temple in Dallas every Sunday along with others great thai cooks! (Yes, go and Try every single Sunday from Early morning to around 2 or 3 pm at most) I have always been a fan and used to go almost every other week for like a whole year! and I live in Arlington! When I know that she's running this place now I am stoked!! I would suggest go with Thai people if you know one let them help you order some secret menus :) Or I can help suggest you some: Ask for Five spice noodle soup (Guay Jaab, G pronounce like in Game) Don't say like the K as in review below it will come out soo soo wrong and dirty meaning :D This dish comes with Inners and Blood cake which you can opt out like I do, trust me it is still delish and it's not at all gross) Ask for Minced pork (or chicken) basil stir fried and ask for Thai style. Try some spicy to it. Over rice with fried eggs. This is like Thai comfort food. Everyone and I mean e-ver-ry- one in Thailand eats this quite often when they don't know what to eat. Thai style doesn't come with whole lots of various veggies like the fusion one though. You might not like it if you love veggies so much. Ask for Chinese Broccoli with roasted pork Aweeeesomeeee Homecook, street food taste just like in Thailand and as good (or better?) as I make it and I don't need to do the dishes! Hooray! Those roasted pork is my favorite, not guarantee that everyone will love it like I do but please give it a try. Tom Yum Thai style (with crushed peanut) noodle soup is light and tasty (ask for spicy if needed) Pad Thai Sauce is pretty good, with that tamarind based unlike what many restaurants use (Peanut sauce? Lots or sugar?) I still like my own pad thai the best though, oh no Wondee in NYC is the best, sorry. I am really picky with Pad Thai no one really got them right or authentic here in the US that I tried so far (right, not even wondee in NYC but that was good enough for me) so even I like the sauce I would still only give 3 stars to this dish. (I go ballistic when the dish at non thai restaurant (or at thai restaurant even) try to goes by as Pad thai and it's just wrong, nothing pad thai about it and I want to cry) I'm waiting for The owner to start serving up oyster omelet dish that hard to find anywhere. Will update if I succeed in convincing them soon. Service is quick. The business can be slow sometimes but don't let that scares you to try. Store from the outside is not very appealing but again don't let that scares you. I really want to make sure this place stay up and run so I can stop cooking. Please help me support them. PS. The lady owner make the best chicken curry puff in the whole word. (well at least in my opinion and most Thais I know agree so) So sad she's so busy supplying other big name restaurants in Dallas. As she's still new to running this place. Please give her sometimes. I surely will keep asking when my favorite curry puff will be available every time I visit this place. Authentic Thai food in Arlington! I went with my mom and sister on Saturday for lunch and we got the curry puffs to start. SOOOO GOOOOOOD! Best curry puffs I've ever had. We also ordered larb chicken, pad see eew with pork, lad na with pork and crab fried rice. The crab fried rice smelled and tasted like the ones I've had in Thailand. The pad see ew, larb and lad na were good too, but the two stand out dishes were the crab fried rice and curry puffs. The place wasn't very busy when we went. They had only one other table besides us. The restaurant is located across the street from Arlington high school where Bethanys is. Service was great. The waiter took our orders and the food came out pretty quick. I will definitely be back to try some of their other dishes like the papaya salad! read more

Not impressed. I came here for lunch and was seated pretty quickly. However, when I went to pull my chair in, I touched some sticky residue. Disgusting. It made me worry about the cleanliness of the rest of the place. I ordered chicken pad Thai (3 stars) and it was pretty good. I would say the spice level was pretty much right on, and the lunch order came with an egg roll and a small bowl of soup. Not sure which soup it was but it was not very good at all. I understand why some folks say this is their go to spot, and I think I'm Arlington you are unfortunately pretty limited. I won't be back because of the cleanliness concerns, slow service, and the food was not great. Proceed with caution I would say. read more

Thai Freaking Basil Freaking Leaf!!! I have been here probably 10 times in the last 6 months. This place is delicious! I have ordered Pad Thai, Pad See Ew and Pad Ke Mao. All chicken. For 2 healthy portions to go I spend about $20. And it is some of the tastiest food in the area. Not only are the people who run this place super friendly and the decor nice and quaint, but the food... THE FOOD! I'm no expert. I've never been to Thailand. But I do enjoy good food. The spice level is 1-5 and we usually get the 3. Not overwhelming but definitely enjoyable heat. The noodles have been cooked very well each time making sure not to be too dry. And the chicken is moist also. With plenty of it. Most places skimp on the chicken but this place makes it a main part of the meal. Was here just now for lunch and their food is AMAZING. The Tom Yum Goong aka spicy and sour soup is really good, the presentation of the spring rolls is really nice though. Its a hard to eat them because the skin stick to each other, but nonetheless, its still a great dish! The chicken pad thai was not very good. I could taste the fish sauce with the first bite. (Too much) and didnt get any peanuts with it. We liked the crab cream cheese egg rolls they were tiny but tasty. The masaman curry was good but husband said the chicken didnt seem fresh in his dish. The worst customer service I have ever received in life. I waited 45 minutes and never receive my food. Literally everyone in the restaurant had their food before me. Even the people that came in 10 minutes after I did. I will never in life come back to this restaurant. The waitress did not even came back to the table to check on us. A friend of mine and I went there for lunch. When we arrived, there were only two tables occupied. We ordered. Tables started filling up, people started eating/finishing their meals and leaving, but we still didn't have our food. (I was starving). After at least 45 min of waiting, the gal brought put food but it wasn't what we ordered. So wait another 25 min at least and we finally have our meal. The food was ok, just ok. To apologize for how long we waited, the sever gave us a free desert of Tapioca pearls. That was delicious. Next we waited forever for our check. We ended up going to the kitchen area to get our check so we could pay. If you have tons of spare time and only want so-do food then this is your place. I ordered Basil Fried rice and Pad Thai. I asked both to be a spicy level 3 and I got both orders without any sort of spice. The pad Thai was sort of bland and a bit watery. The basil fried rice was extremely salty where it seemed like the rice was soaked in soy sauce and I couldn't taste any basil and I couldn't eat but a couple of bites because it was so salty. I was really craving something spicy and overall bummed when I got the food without any spice at all. I probably wouldn't be ordering from here again and not recommending. read more

It's a homely little place. Love the woman who owns the place, she was so sweet and treated us like family. We tried the fried tofu and crunchy spring rolls, both were bang on with the flavor. My first time here in a couple of years and all I can say is why did I wait so long. New owners, some ambiance, and much better food than before. The generously portioned green curry with shrimp (I ordered it #3 spicy on a 1-5 scale) was perfectly spicy: hot but allowed the basil and component flavors to shine through. The desert menu had plenty of offerings: the black rice pudding -- something reminiscent of che foe those of you that like Vietnamese deserts- was excellent but the hefty portion is better shared. The Thai iced tea was perfectly sweet and exhibited layers of flavor rather than the sickly sweet stuff on offer at most restaurants. I was the first customer this morning and it seems like a really nice place. The restaurant gets busy around 12 when its lunch time and all the business people come out and eat. I got the green curry lunch special for $7. $7.50 if you want beef. The curry was very good and spicy. One thing that sucks about spicy levels: it's all different no matter what. I usually eat around a 3-4 at most Thai places but this one was very strong. I regret getting the 3 because it ruined the rich taste of the curry, but I can still taste it and it was very good! Good, small,family restaurant near Univ of Texas Arlington that hits all the right points for a Thai place. Fresh ingredients with the opportunity to make most dishes as spicy as you like. The menu was expansive, giving options for noodles, curries, stir frys, and other house specialties. We started with their great house soup (coconut based) with plenty of veggies and chicken. Crispy egg rolls were cooked nicely. We didn't go to far into the unfamiliar, ordering Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles, but these were prepared perfectly and in big portions. The food was so good I think when I go back, I'll expand my menu selection into a less familiar dish. Sweet sticky rice with mangos for dessert completed the meal. It's a little hard to find, down Park Row just west of Cooper. The interior is comfortable, but a bit dated. The hostess (owner?) was super friendly and the service was quick. I read a lot of great reviews about this place so we decided to try this place out for lunch. The menu is very simple. Not very many options for lunch. I got the masaman curry with chicken and had asked for extra curry sauce because from the look of the pictures on yelp, it didn't have much. I received my food and it didn't look like it had extra sauce but it wasn't a big deal. The dish itself was a very small portion for it being a regular entree. It was very salty and had a citrus taste to it that made it taste off to me. The dish consisted of mainly peanuts with a few pieces of potatoes carrots and chicken. I had high expectations for this place, but maybe it's just the curry that went wrong. Maybe I'll try the noodles next time. read more

Level 4 spicy because the guy that answered told me it was really spicy, I usually order a level 5 at the other place and it's not spicy enough but went ahead and went with recommendation. The rice was definitely spicy and I loved that, the only thing I didn't like was that it was a yellow color like they added curry. Not sure if that's how it should be but at my usual it's not like that, I didn't like that curry flavor. I do appreciate that they put the cashews on the side as I forgot to request no cashews. The lunch portion sizes have changed to being much smaller than before. When I asked about the soup and crispy spring roll that usually come with the lunch, I was told that they ran out of soup this morning and the spring roll is no longer included. Customer service is lacking! The manager wouldn't work with us on picking up an order placed in error later. While ordering on their website, we selected a time of 5:30 however it went through to be picked up ASAP. When we called to change this they said they would just have to throw the food away and we'd have to pay for a new order. Very bad customer service on their part! read more

We had the chicken Pad Thai, vegetable Pad Thai, and crab & cream cheese rolls. The noodle dishes were well cooked, and the sauce and spice combination were pretty good. Unfortunately, we asked for them at spicy levels 2 and 5/max but neither were spicy at all, so the dish left something specific to be desired. The crab & cream cheese rolls were very good - formed like a spring roll, it was a different and pleasant approach to crab rangoon/wontons. We ordered take-out and a single waitress was taking all the tables as well as handling the phone and pick-up orders. No one seemed upset by this so clearly she was managing it well. With the availability of other Thai places, I wouldn't go back here - it wasn't anything overtly special and I'm not going to risk not getting spicy food again. read more

I love me some good Thai Food. A couple of our friends recommended this place as they come here regularly. We were seated quickly. They brought out some Hot n Sour soup which was really tasty and perfect for a cold day. I ordered Beef Panang as I wanted something spicy. My husband ordered the Pad Ke Mow. Both were so delicious. My meal came with a great amount of beef and veggies. The curry was one of the best I've had and the level of spice was on point. The Pad Ke Mow was delicious as well. I came to have a flat rice noodle with yellow curry and beef during the lunch hours. The serves said they could not make it, (even though they have the ingredients). The manager then talked to me as claimed that they could actually make it she would she check with the COOKS if they wanted to make it. Lol They she came out to tell me that there was a tasty dish I should get( which was not even close to what I wanted) and still Nantes to charge me a dinner portion as the would change the rice noodle for FLAT RICE NOODLE (same kind of noodle).
