Not bad for a remote city to have Thai food. As for Yelp if you are reading this message. You don't need a f.... long message to tell people if this place is good or bad. Change your setting. A picture can tell a thousand words.. .get it read more

Really great service-they want you to be happy with your food. One time had people in my party talk to the cook and he remade their food. I've always been very happy with everything I order and because their food is so good I try new dishes and apps every time I go. Food is always served hot and the waitress is so nice and always happy. I would highly recommend especially for this area. read more

Wow! this place is so unexpectedly delicious. resturaunt decor/location: it's connected to a sleazy looking motel in the middle of Leesville off 171. it's a little run down but not dirty. the food: OMG the food is so good. the menu is extensive and looks authentic. I loved almost everything I've ordered here. Favorite is yellow curry, pad thai, prawn in blanket, & thai tea. My favorite resturaunt in Leesville read more

This place is a diamond in the rough. Considering Leesville can be a complete food desert, this is my oasis. Thai food is my favorite type of ethnic food, and Thadapetch delivers. The Tom Yum soup is the best I've ever had, and it is absolutely refreshing. Sometimes I get it just for the broth when I have a sinus infection. It's that good. I could go on forever about that damn Tom yum soup. The Taro egg rolls are amazing. I've had some pretty good pad Thai before...but the pad Thai here isn't terrible. If you're really jonesing for some pad Thai, the pad Thai at Thadapetch will satisfy your craving. Pad woonsen is really good also. My boyfriend has tried many of their stir fries, and curry dishes and liked all of them. I really haven't heard anyone say anything bad about this restaurant or their service before. If you're thinking about trying it, do it already! read more

Without a doubt, the best Thai food you will find in Leesville. Sure, there may not be many other options, but Tha Da Petch will not disappoint. The cooking is authentic, quick and hot (when required). The cook will spice the food to order. And "Thai Hot" truly is.... Pricing is as expected for Leesville. Very casual atmosphere. Large space in the back for a meeting, hail/farewell, etc. read more

This place has awesome Thai food! I was glad to see that Leesville had a Thai restaurant with such a wide variety. I've been here a few times so far and each time I'm impressed. read more

Stopped in for a quick late lunch after seeing so many positive reviews on Yelp. Yellow curry with chicken, potatoes, and carrots spooned over rice noodles will change your life. Best meal I've had in Leesville in the last 5 days. Service was prompt and courteous, place is very clean. Will be back every day before I leave, much better than the stuff I usually eat when I'm stuck in a hotel for a week. read more

My favorite Thai restaurant!! It's the closest I've had to traditional since traveling to Thailand. It's even head and shoulders above any Thai food I've had in Houston. Leesville is lucky to have this gem. read more

Excellent Thai food in the middle of small town Louisiana. Try the fresh spring rolls, red curry (perfect spice), or veggies with garlic sauce (#22). read more

Located near Ft Polk, this dinning establishment is a great place to eat if you like Thai food. I got thai iced tea and mild drunken noodles with tofu. The fried seafood rice also was delicious. The wait staff was sweet and and served us promptly. Everything tasted fresh and was satisfying, thanks. read more

Authentic really yummy Thai food. Amazing flavor!!! Very good food choices and very authentic spices and flavors. Customer Service was amazing as well. For a little town outside of Fort Polk that doesn't have many eating options, this place stands out above the rest. You will not be disappointed. read more

Amazing Food! The best house fried rice in town and their cocunut soup with seafood, YUM! Decor isn't the newest, but the owner, Sam, and his family make you feel right at home. By the way, if you like Thai iced coffee, you'll LOVE Sam's. read more

Not the best Thai food. I've tasted Thai food from different countries made by Thai people and this wasn't the best. I've tried the papaya salad, tom yum soup, fried rice, flaming beef, and Thai tea. First time here and not coming back. Food doesn't taste clean and fresh. read more

Best thing about Sleesville! Also came up with this cool saying i think they should make t-shirts out of it... Ready? "Aint Thadapetch!" .... Hahhahaha Good service and great people run this joint. Enjoy. read more

The food is always great here 5 stars. The kung poa is my fave Atmosphere has room for improvement. Furnature needs improvement. The entertainment piece is the family's kid who plays at one of the tables with hot wheels, crossfire, or watches you tube videos. I don't mind its just something to add. If you see him there post about it. He will be famous. read more

I took Tamaris J.'s advice and went to the Thadapetch with tw friends while staying in Leesville. This place is truely phenominal!! We walked in and were greeted by Sam the owner who was our server, I told him our expectations were high because of the YELP reviews. He has never heard of YELP and said he didnt get on the internet. I showed him the reviews on my Iphone and he said it made him happy! Well after eating here we were all happy too! I had the #32 Kung Pao Chicken with medium spice. Unbelievable!! My buddies had #37 Gaeng Ka-Ree and #60 Pad Ke-Mao and we all split #15 soup Tom Kha Ta-Lay. WOW!! We will be returning many times before leaving Leesville. How much Thai can be to much??? Keep it up Sam! read more

First time I enjoyed this place was October 2017. Then again in January 2018 with some of the fellow Civil Affairs Soldiers. Quality of the food is great and portion size exceeds the price!! Great value for your money. Not to mention that the waitress had just spent a couple of months in Thailand!! read more

I don't usually care much for Thai, but based on the reviews I gave it a try. It was really flavorful and I would recommend it if you are in Leesvile. read more

best restaurant in Leesville. Hana sucks horrendously (unless you like high BP from everything being smothered in soy sauce). This place offers some of the best thai food in LA. Get the green curry with chicken and shrimp (cooked in real coconut milk). The atmosphere is extremely family friendly and the service is top notch. Plenty of options for picky eaters (pad thai, chicken satay, spring rolls) read more

This place was an unexpected find in Leesville. I initially had reservations about eating Thai food here, but I'm glad I tried it out. I've had several of their dishes and each one was amazing. Their Thai Tea is wonderful after a very spivey meal. Just a warning, their "Thai hot" dishes are EXTREMELY spicy. read more

I ate here today because of the great reviews it recieved. I was not disappointed. The food tasted great. I thought it was better than the Thai restaurant in Deridder. read more

Surprisingly authentic Thai food for such a small town. The ingredients are fresh, quickly and well prepared, and the service is spectacular. The young lady who manages the place, also waits all the tables and apparently does the books. This family owned and operated restaurant is an absolute jewel for a town this size and I'd put them up against anything I've had this side of Phuket. I've had most of the menu and I'd recommend all of it! read more

How could Thai get any better? The owner's wife is a trained chef from Thailand. The owner from Laos. Best coconut shrimp soup. Fried snapper delectable. Desserts extraordinary. Try the sticky mango rice, you will not regret it. Run to this place, do not hesitate. If you are in doubt of what to order, ask Sam, the owner, he is always ready to recommend something outstanding, although I have not tried anything from Thadapetch that is any less. read more

I was visiting Leesville from NYC, and this place has excellent Thai food!!!!!! The foods and dessert are delicious!!!

The food was decent but horrible service. I had to walk where the waiter/owner was at and order my food/water. Very small portion and had to order another bowl of curry. read more

Ask for heat you get heat, awesome green curry!!

My go to place in the area. Amazing food . A little pricey. But the quality and flavor is amazing.

I love Indonesian food. Sam and his wife are very friendly and the food hits the spot every time!

Best Thai Food on the planet. The only reason I would ever go back to Leesville ever. Since I left out of town, never found a place as good as them. Very sad. Wish they would franchise every where. That might be very bad for my wallet but my taste buds would have a party. Thank you. read more

mmm!! This place was SO good. Very authentic and delicious Thai food. The whole family enjoyed it. With that said, it was a family friendly atmosphere and a good selection on the menu for everyone to choose from. We will return soon! read more

Great food considering all other alternatives in the area. Quick, attentive service and fair prices.

Absolutely delicious. Spotless. Great Service. If you don't want really spicy order medium. Some of the best duck curry ever.

Fantastic! I personally LOVE Thai food and their prices and quality are comparable to another Thai place in DeRidder. The space is small, and the cultural barrier can lead to the staff being misconstrued as rude, but the food great! Authentic and SPICY! read more

Authentic as I've seen anywhere. I usually get the papaya salad. It's solid. Their heat levels are pretty inconsistent though. There are days when 'hot' is comfortably warm and others when hot melts metal. The sticky rice helps put out the fire. read more

I always have a good meal and fast service. A great spot to stop for a quick bite and a Thai iced tea.

Probably the best thai food I've ever had in my life! Ever since I left leesville I've been trying to find thai as good as Thadapetch... Hasn't happened 5 years later. The freshest food in town as well! Try it! read more
