    3. Fresh Spring Rolls Hot Green Tea
    Amy W.

9/10 ! Such a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere, the service is okay (some are young and not attentive) but the FOOD is everything here. The spring rolls are the best in town, hot teas are great, and virtually any entree (from what I've tried) are exceptionally well done. The flavor / portions / price are all great, wouldnt change a thing.

I loved almost everything about this place! I was surprised that it wasn't busier but I'm told that it's a really popular place for takeout. When we sat down it was so quiet we could hear the conversation being had on the other side of the room. Our server was adorable and sweet and very helpful. He recommended a salad to me and I could eat that salad every day. I also want to eat their spring rolls and the sauce it comes with for the rest of my life too. We all ordered 3 plates and shared and it was all delicious, especially the pad thai, but I loved the Yun goong (I think/hope that's what it's called) salad the most. Best Thai food I've had since I've been in Dallas.

Ordered through DoorDash (Oct18)- it was a disappointing experience. First off their calamari was bland. The chicken satay was tough and rubbery. The Pad Prik was kinda okay but the serving was too small for the price, and then the Massaman curry, it was good and the only reason why it got 3 stars from me. Small serving is fine if the food is delicious. But if they're just okay, it's not worth recommending the place.

Great food! Service is a little slow, but you can see why.. theres only a handful of people working in this busy establishment, but definitely worth the wait! We had the following: -Pad Mai Tai (#44) -Tom Yum (#11) -Tom Kah (#12) -Larb (#17) -Yum Talay (#21) -Yum Neau (#19) -Chicken Satay All were really good and flavorful! Definitely recommended those dishes if you are trying the restaurant! Check @eatinglafayette on Instagram and Facebook for more Lafayette food things!

I highly recommend the orange chicken. It is a wonderful dish. Balanced flavors. Many excellent options on the menu. Clean atmosphere. Great service. Tom Kah soup medium spice with chicken, tofu, or shrimp is a must get appetizer.

Craving Thai? Check out Bangkok Thai. It's pretty affordable and delicious. I had an envie for Shrimp Pad Thai and chose to try this place based on the reviews. I picked up to bring back to the office, but at lunch it was crowded (not overly so) and the atmosphere was hopping. Seems like a great place to break up the workday with my office, so I'll be back with them to dine in soon. I ordered the following- Shrimp Roll Jumbo shrimp and ground chicken wrapped in a wonton sheet and deep fried, served with plum sauce. By far not the healthiest thing on the menu but Y'ALL. This app was sooooooo tasty that I have been thinking about them ever since. Try this for sure! Pad Thai Thin rice noodles stir-fried with tofu, eggs, bean sprouts, scallions, and your choice of protein (I had shrimp). Served with lime and ground peanuts. Ok, this definitely hit the spot but heads up-I ordered it "medium" spice level and it was not spicy. I had to put Tony's and hot sauce in it. I was surprised that there were no red pepper flakes in the dish. Every other time I've ordered Pad Thai red pepper flakes are always in it. Since this was my first experience with this particular Thai place I know now to order it very spicy and ask for red pepper flakes and so should you!

Me and my mother stopped here while we were on the way to Houston. Initial impressions of the place: family friendly, welcoming, and local Crab Rangoons were good. Thai Egg Rolls were average. Pad See Ew (Seafood, Thai Hot) was okay. Not awful, but not great. It was too saucy, too sweet, and not as spicy as I expected. My mother usually cant handle spice, but she didn't find it spicy when she was picking through the carrots and broccoli. Great server. Brought me a refill sprite right as I was taking my last sip. Overall, I've had better thai food.

I decided to give them a try under the new name. It was no different. The positives is that everyone is pretty friendly and the place is clean and orderly. I will say that both times i went I tried the buffet so maybe the food is tastier from the menu. I tried several different items on the buffet and just found that it really lacked flavor. The best item was the fresh spring rolls but I was disappointed that they don't have that good peanut butter sauce to go with them. Instead, they offer what seems to be a sweet & sour sauce from a jar. The noodles were dry and bland. Both of the curry sauces were watery and didn't have much flavor at all. The meats (chicken & beef) are the typical Chinese buffet style meats instead of pieces of chicken that look like chicken. The cucumber soup and the coconut soup are both savory (just fyi). The mango sticky rice with coconut sauce dessert-not a fan at all and coconut and mango are two of my favorite flavors. Overall, it was a decent experience; no regrets for giving it a try. But, I definitely won't go again. Sad, too, because I REALLY wanted to love it!

I ended up getting the pad thai which was okay. Definitely not the best I've ever had but it was pretty good for Lafayette. I've definitely had better at places where it was more authentic. I also ordered the fried soft shell crab which came with a dipping sauce. That was absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend it over the pad thai. I think my total bill for this particular place was $30. I did get this meal to go and even after a 25 minute drive the pad thai was still warm when I made it home. So was the fried soft shell crab. The service was good . Sorry about not having a photo of the fried soft shell crab. It was so good I completely forgot about it taking a pic.

Cleanliness- 2 (20%) The tables on the upside were clean, but if you look anywhere else beware. Dust accumulated for at least a month, does not elicit confidence in eating there. Service- 3 (25%) Giving the service a 3 is being generous- but the waitstaff consisted of two teens and a ten year old boy so I'm inclined to give them a break. I had to wait 5 minutes before anyone helped me. The 10 year old boy was engulfed in a computer game and didn't acknowledge my presence though no one else was there. A 14 year old boy came out eventually and was very pleasant. He took my order to go, telling me it would be at least a 30 minute wait for take-out. An order time of 30 minutes seems a bit long for take-out, but the food came out at the appointed time- as promised. Food- 2 (35%) We ordered the Pad Thai, Basil Rolls, and Yellow Curry Shrimp. Nothing special, temperature okay. Nowhere near what a Thai restaurant should be on flavor. Value- 2 (10%) The cost was $10-14.95 on entrees. Didn't really have it going on for Thai in my book, so the value is not there.
