Coconut water
Carolyn P.

My boyfriend and I go here often and we always get a Pad Thai with a coconut water drink and another random entree The place is super tiny and cute. The food is amazing plus the workers are really fast and friendly

Spring roll and soup

My new favorite Thai place! The food was so good and the heat level was very nice. They also have the best sauce for their spring rolls! The spring rolls are also pretty big. You get soup as an appetizer too and we got the beef and noodle. Very nice, rich flavor. Both my husband and I got the medium heat and out of the Thai places we have been to in town, theirs was a bit spicier. We really liked that. Everything was made fresh to order and then flavors were spot on! I'm guessing it was the owner out front that took our order, he was very friendly and made a couple recommendations for us as well as had a lovely conversation about food in general. It's a small place, but you can tell it is definitely made with love, and some heat!

pad poi zean

My friend and I decided to stop by for lunch. We have not had Thai food in a while and wanted to give this place a shot. Like their name says, the food was made with love. I tried the pad poi zean with tofu and every bite tasted like heaven. Perfectly firm tofu with seasoned clear noodles and vegetables. The dish was pretty hot. I was content with not having to put alot of sauces on it since I am known to do that if something is not spicy enough. I hope to come again soon to try some thai milk!!!

I valued and support locally owned restaurants. There is always a risk not finding one great! This facility I have a few observations to improvement. While I appreciate the high tech and the ability to accept all major credo cards and the easy of ordering. I dislike to have a lack of real Thai taste in my food. The amount of Tom Kah was great for the price, however the taste was lacking more coconut milk and Galangahl root, looked like the broth was from a different day While all the vegetables were fresh, but the canned mushrooms. The taste was lacking authenticity. The Pad Kee Mao was also blend to be medium spicy. Never had green beans in my noodles before, (just different) missing the basil and sauce. Fast food type of place, hence my 3 stars, might come back. But I had better Thai food here in Lafayette LA.

Great service. Really good food. Owner was so nice. Big portions. Definitely recommend it.

Stopped here for a quick lunch while in Lafayette. We got the papaya salad, drunken noodles, spring rolls, and stir fried mixed vegetables with chicken. Since it was lunch, we got soup on the side. It was a nice little place. Food was served hot and flavors were all there. Really enjoyed the papaya salad and drunken noodles

Small mom and pop Thai restaurant. Family here is nice and friendly. We had the following: - Laarb - Spicy salad with beef, served with cabbage - was good, just need a tad bit more acidity - Pad Kee Mou - "Drunken Noodles" spicy wide noodle dish with bell peppers, onions, carrots, green beans & snow peas - this was delicious and spicy - Pad Se Eww - Wide rice noodles in a sweet soy sauce w/ eggs, broccoli, & carrots - this was mediocre - Panang Curry - bell pepper, kaffir lime leaves in a blend of yellow & red curry - the curry was a bit too watery, but the flavors were good I would probably come back if I'm in the area.

It's consistently delicious every single time. The massamon curry is my favorite, but everything I've had has been fantastic.

Good food and service. Small but very clean and neat. The tofu is some of the best for a vegan.

We ordered the Pad Kee Mao, red curry, and chicken sate. The food is super bland. I would not recommend

Excellent food and big portions! I'd give it another star except the prices were higher than posted on their website.

This was probably the worst food I've had at any restaurant. I am very familiar with Thai food. The pho was extremely dark and tasted like cinnamon and water, the larp pork was nothing how larp should taste. The curry was old and watered down. The pad si ew was very potent and tasted like thick oyster sauce right out of the bottle. The jasmine rice was almost room temperature and had a mildew taste from being old and sitting in a warmer for too long. We had to bring the children to chik fil an afterwards because for once, I told them it was okay that they didn't eat their food. It was my daughter's birthday and she wanted larp and pho. I will definitely be making it up to her and going somewhere else next time.

This is no longer Mimi's. The new name is Kham Koon Thai Restaurant & Lunch Buffet…read more Today's lunch cost $18.07 with tax (buffet & water) I tried them when it was Mimi's once and didn't go again. I decided to give them a try under the new name. It was no different. The positives is that everyone is pretty friendly and the place is clean and orderly. I will say that both times i went I tried the buffet so maybe the food is tastier from the menu. I tried several different items on the buffet and just found that it really lacked flavor. The best item was the fresh spring rolls but I was disappointed that they don't have that good peanut butter sauce to go with them. Instead, they offer what seems to be a sweet & sour sauce from a jar. The noodles were dry and bland. Both of the curry sauces were watery and didn't have much flavor at all. The meats (chicken & beef) are the typical Chinese buffet style meats instead of pieces of chicken that look like chicken. The cucumber soup and the coconut soup are both savory (just fyi). The mango sticky rice with coconut sauce dessert-not a fan at all and coconut and mango are two of my favorite flavors. Overall, it was a decent experience; no regrets for giving it a try. But, I definitely won't go again. Sad, too, because I REALLY wanted to love it!

Cleanliness- 2 (20%) The tables on the upside were clean, but if you look anywhere else beware. Dust accumulated for at least a month, does not elicit confidence in eating there. Service- 3 (25%) Giving the service a 3 is being generous- but the waitstaff consisted of two teens and a ten year old boy so I'm inclined to give them a break. I had to wait 5 minutes before anyone helped me. The 10 year old boy was engulfed in a computer game and didn't acknowledge my presence though no one else was there. A 14 year old boy came out eventually and was very pleasant. He took my order to go, telling me it would be at least a 30 minute wait for take-out. An order time of 30 minutes seems a bit long for take-out, but the food came out at the appointed time- as promised. Food- 2 (35%) We ordered the Pad Thai, Basil Rolls, and Yellow Curry Shrimp. Nothing special, temperature okay. Nowhere near what a Thai restaurant should be on flavor. Value- 2 (10%) The cost was $10-14.95 on entrees. Didn't really have it going on for Thai in my book, so the value is not there.
