At his shop he immediately identified the 2 key blanks from Lectric ebikes were WRONG blanks for my original key and pointed out why. He would look for a substitute in his own inventory. After about 30 minutes he presented me with 2 different freshly cut copies. I did not have my bike with me to test whether they worked. Without charge he said go home, test them and call with results. One of the 2 new blank cuts WORKED! I called to give him the good news and a credit card. In spite of my insistence to pay him, he DECLINED to charge me?! Huh??? This man was so friendly and so knowledgeable. I put him in my contacts and will always use this man for any future locksmithing needs.

Erez responded quickly, kept us updated on his arrival, and was so friendly, trustworthy, and professional. He got the car unlocked in no time at a very fair price. He came back that same afternoon, made both keys right outside our garage, and had everything finished quickly...and again at a great price. We joked that it must have been fate that we locked our keys in the car because otherwise we probably never would have gotten around to finally replacing that broken key! The whole experience was easy and stress-free. I would absolutely use his services again.

Then, a few days later, I somehow managed to lock my only remaining car key inside my car. I honestly wanted to crawl into a hole. I called Alcatraz Locksmith and spoke with Todd. I explained what had happened, and he immediately said he'd get someone out to help. Craig arrived quickly, got my car unlocked without any damage, and since he was already there, he replaced the locks on my house so I didn't have to worry about whoever had my stolen keys. Being able to take care of everything in one visit was such a relief. The work was excellent, but what I'll remember most is how Todd and Craig treated me. After the week I'd had, I was embarrassed enough already. Neither of them made me feel stupid for locking my key in the car. They were friendly, reassuring, and made a stressful situation so much easier to deal with. Craig also mentioned they can help me get a second key fob made, which I'll definitely be doing. After this week, I've learned my lesson. If I ever need a locksmith again, Alcatraz Locksmith will be my first call.
