My experience with Nick was fantastic. He was quick to answer my call, extremely friendly, and worked around my schedule: told me to call him within half an hour of when I would be back home. He came exactly when he said he would. He did his best to open my door without replacing the lock, and gave me a very fair price for a lock replacement after determining the door was too tight to pry open. Within 15 minutes he got the door open, took the lock out, and cut a new one around my original key, right there in his van, so I didn't even need a new key. Nick is a very skilled locksmith, works fast, does his absolute best to pick the lock before having to resort to the drill. 3-year-old grandson locked his bedroom door (thankfully he wasn't in the room) but the lock on it was not one that could be opened with a tool, knife, credit card, etc. Had to call a locksmith to get the door opened. Hubby did a google search and came up with a couple names to try. He called PickNick Locksmith on a Saturday morning and got Nick on the phone. Explained the problem to him and he said he could be there in about 20 minutes to get the door opened. It was actually closer to 40 minutes, but he arrived, did the various maneuvers he had to do to get the door opened, but got it done quickly, professionally, and at a reasonable price for an urgent situation like this. Whole thing was wrapped up in about 1 hour from start to finish from when hubby called him to the work being completed. Would definitely use him again if we needed any lock work done. Gave me a time estimate and was there when he said he would be. Other locksmiths do the whole "ill be an hour" and show up 4 hours later.
