Ordered the wings. The sauce was spicy and tasty, but they were easily the smallest wings I have ever seen at a restaurant..

Our waitress was kind and made suggestions of what she liked on the menu. We were informed that there were no specials, but also that several items were not available. This was surprising to me as it was a Saturday night and had just opened. We placed our orders and were given bread. The bread pieces were cute into tiny triangles and when it was finished, I requested another basket but was told that it would cost us $3. As a group of 8 people, we should have been given 2 baskets of bread from the start. We were spending enough money on drinks and dinner that the restaurant could have provided a second basket of bread. Our meals arrived and there was a mistake with 2 orders. One person had to wait a long time to receive their meal while the rest of the party had theirs. We inquired with the waitress about the meal and that's when we found out that because of the mixup, they had to make a new order for him. As for the food, 4 of our party ordered the duck and enjoyed it. The rice pilaf tasted like rice cooked in bullion and that's it. My sister ordered the chipotle tortellini and enjoyed it. I ordered the broiled scallops which were supposed to be sea scallops but were actually bay scallops and pretty disappointing. In all, the experience was mediocre. I think it could be a decent restaurant if more effort was made to make it great instead of just ok.

It's very new agey and different for the sake of being different. But, the pasta was delicious and high quality! The place has a major attitude problem, though. The aesthetics are off-putting and attract a crowd of the worst types of people. Had to listen to nothing but whiny spite and anger my entire meal from multiple groups of guests. The waiter was the worst aspect, though. I didn't even know he worked there when he approached me. He was dressed down more than a lot of homeless people I've seen. He also shared that same attitude of the guests and made my business feel like an inconvenience the entire time, having the nerve to expect a tip for bringing my food out to me, which I would have just done myself to avoid him. I can recommend carryout, if you absolutely have to have some pasta in this area, but not eating in, and don't get anything that seems weird on the menu. The evening got off to a great start with Fabian taking care of our table. He was the kind of server every restaurant hopes to have. Easy to talk to, attentive, and knowledgeable when we had questions about the menu. For appetizers, we went with the Hand Rolled Polpette, Risotto all'Astice e Gamberi, and the Crispy Mozzarella Tasting. The risotto was probably the favorite at our table, although the meatballs were a close second. For entrees, the Chicken Saltimbocca was excellent, the halibut was fresh and cooked perfectly, and the veal chop was easily one of the best dishes of the night. What nobody expected was that the kids' meals would be so great. All three children ordered the kids' steak, and every one of them was cooked beautifully. Their steaks were better than the steak I had the previous night at Tavern on the Lake, even though that one cost about 3x as much. Between the food, the service, and the setting overlooking Lake George, dinner ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. We'll definitely make a point of coming back next time.

Some parts were a bit tough, but I liked the plating, the use of the accompaniments (potatoes, rendered pork/bacon pieces, sauces) and the overall flavors. 4/5 Pappardelle with the short rib was good. Meat was tender. Pasta was cooked well. Sauce was flavorful and had depth. 5/5 Tried a lot of restaurants around the area and this is up there as a place to come back to.
