It is always my great displeasure when my main manufacturer ships pallets to my business via TForce. I have made appointments for my pallets to be delivered within a 4 hour window, only for them to never show up. I specifically bring in more employees to handle 150+ cartons of merchandise, only for my delivery to never show up, without a call or email on why the delivery wasn't made during the appointed time window. The very WORST option. This company will actually COST YOU $ for their mistakes. They called on a Friday before close to schedule a delivery. No problem, I called back the following Monday and scheduled a delivery for Tuesday. In the middle of the Tuesday delivery window, I received a call that they were wanting to schedule a delivery for Friday. I said, well I'm at home waiting for the delivery now. It was later determined by customer service that an order had been made, but due to a mistake on their end, it wasn't actually put on the schedule. This was after Margaret at the Knoxville office tried to blame it on me for 15 minutes, suggesting that it was maybe my fault for calling a wrong number? wrong extension? etc etc etc. So Maragaret rescheduled for Friday between 10-2 pm. At 4:30 pm (rain was expected at 5 pm), the driver arrives and wants to leave a mahogany sauna panel on the curb. My hubby and son had left at 2 pm. The driver would not roll it up to the house as it's "curbside" delivery. I can't move it as I had treatment on my knees and cannot lift anything for a week. This box requires 2 people to move it. The driver tells me that if I do not accept the delivery that they will not be re-delivering, and I will have to go pick it up. They are 2 1/2 hours late. It's going to rain in under 30 minutes. There isn't anyone here to move the box, and they won't redeliver? This company needs an overhaul in customer service and needs to learn the value of taking responsibility for their own mistakes. When they make a mistake, they need to make it right. As it stands, they cost us time and money. By the way, this was a replacement for a delivery they made last time which was a warped wooden Sauna panel. I now wonder how it got warped... Is it their mishandling of the product? read more

I just wasted the entire afternoon waiting for t-force freight to deliver several theater chairs. Delivery window wad 12 to 5pm and i called at 4:30pm to find out status of my chairs. Holy sht WHAT A HORRIBLE COMPANY! They have scheduled my $1800 delivery that weighs 707lbs 3 times. If you go to dispatch the girl who handles calls is incredibly rude. She didn't answer my questions, didn't care that I've been getting the run around and then hung up on me. Prior to that she had a full blown conversation with another employee while not answering my questions. Very unprofessional. I called back and someone picked up the phone and hung up on me. Horrible. Wishing my item was shipped with anyone else. On the estimated day for delivery I called their customer service at 12:00 noon asking when it would be delivered and was told by 5pm. Ok that works...then at 1:00pm I received a call wanting to schedule my delivery for tomorrow or any other business day from 2 to 5pm. This is just an hour after being told it was coming today. We are now on our third day of waiting for a freight pickup. Last night we actually chased the driver in his truck when he passed our business to pickup at a company a couple of doors down. He stated he did not have room for our shipment. Then, when we called for another pickup we found out the the driver lied and said the business was closed, and that is why the shipment was not picked up. This was the first and last time will do business with this company. I scheduled a shipment for a 50lb larger item to ship from ms to ca on their website. The quote was $200.16. I scheduled the pick up and when the driver arrived moved the boxed item out to the truck by myself. The driver then picked it up and placed it in the back of the truck. The company UPS freight called and said it would be an additional $1000 to continue to ship. I told them no. If they cannot send it for the original quoted price I would find another way and to return the tea cart. They had already charged my card $200.16. They called the customer and asked her to pay after I already had. She told them no as well. They proceeded to deliver the item to ca and the driver carried the box and placed it on her porch which she was able to pull into her house. The glass was broken but everything else was intact. Imagine my surprise when I receive an invoice from UPS freight for $5,272.15 !!!!! The weight certificate said the under 50lb item weighed 1,220 lbs. which obviously has to be a typo right?! So I called and was informed that they cannot do anything. After multiple phone calls and emails. They agreed to bring the amount back down to the original quote of $200.16. So imagine my surprise when I get another bill for $918.10 !!!!!! So now they have UPS collections calling me to try and collect $918.10 that I do not owe. Question: why not charge my credit card for amount that they think I owe? Why did they only charge $200.16? Question: if the tea cart in box weighed over 1200 lbs how did 4 individuals pick it up by themselves? They should know I will not be paying them 1 penny more and other people should know about their bullying tactics with small businesses! This is not a reputable company nor would I ever Recommend them. We were only shipping this way because the size requirement was a few inches larger than what regular UPS allows In the future we will be shipping with a different company! read more

Apparently UPS Freight was sold to a company called TForce Freight. They are attempting to charge more than $1500 for a shipment from Indiana to California. I thought that seemed extreme. I checked FreightQuote using the exact information provided to TForce. FreightQuote vendors ranged from $308 - $599. I contacted TForce, they were no help in correcting the billing to a fair amount. Absolutely incompetent and dishonest, even for a freight company. tl;dr --- they screwed up the delivery, and then held the shipment trying to extract a delivery fee from the shipper and lied to me about the situation. I had a shipment set up for a thursday. I called Veronica (the "appointments clerk") on the monday prior (1/28, 11:32am, call 1min38s) to tell her that I would not be there til 4pm so they should either reschedule or tell the driver. She said no problem. Of course, after telling them I would not be there til 4pm, the driver shows up at 2pm with no one to meet him. He leaves despite me verbally authorizing drop off on the phone. Now I don't have the stuff, and they turn around and try to charge the shipper $93 for a re-delivery fee. WTF. The inbred off-spring of moron and stupid would look down on this situation as being too brain-dead to date. I call them, and talk to Thomas, some kind of supervisor. He says he has to check with his boss about the delivery fee. A few days go by, I don't hear anything about a reschedule or a follow up, so call back. Thomas says they waived the delivery fee and purports to reschedule the delivery. Surreal-ly an hour later Veronica emails the shipper, stating they had to pay re-delivery despite this fresh conversation whose conclusion was the exact opposite. I immediately called UPS and was told "Thomas is not here today" (he was) and then, when the person I was talking to called him, they stated: "he never said they would waive it." (We had had simple, short discussions; there was no chance of confusion, so in addition to being incompetent, they are liars.) For good measure, they guy on the phone tells me they wouldn't have been allowed to postpone a delivery til 4pm, and tries using this as some kind of weird logic as to why it wasn't their fault that they sent someone at 2pm when I called days prior to say I wouldn't be there. Of the lot, fedex freight seems to be the best, but even they screw up. I don't get why this is so difficult. Only propane delivery companies seem worse than freight. read more

We own a small business and had been using UPS Freight for some of our larger shipments. We had been given discounts throughout the year and then I received a bill for $650.00 for ONE piece of merchandise. I was told that we didn't have a pricing level set up with UPS Freight. When I asked why we got discounts before, I was told that they were 'introductory' and that this was a valid charge and I had to pay it. I certainly hope that this was worth it because I will NEVER use UPS Freight again. We had already stopped using UPS Ground when they left merchandise on the front porch of our business before it was open, with the store hours (the same hours as the last 20 years)posted right above where it was left. They will CHEAT you. Do NOT use them. We shipped a show display to & from Las Vegas. UPS Freight damaged my fiberglass or plastic crate by running fork lift blades through it. I went to the desk to pick it up. I was forced to sign a waiver saying I had inspected the crate. I had not. Then I had to drive my vehicle a city block from the desk where I signed to the dock runway to have the crate delivered to me. I was ignored. I walked around looking for help. Finally someone asked me what I needed. He brought my crate to me. I noticed the holes in the crate. It appeared to me that there would be substantial internal damage which means emptying & accounting for everything. I said to him that I would check it at home. He said nothing. I SIGNED NOTHING AFTER I LEFT THE INSIDE DESK 1 BLOCK AWAY. NOTHING WAS PRESENTED TO ME TO SIGN. The man delivering the crate did not ask me to sign after seeing it or after receiving it. It turned out that while the crate was damaged, the contents of my crate were not damaged. I had no way to know that until it was fully unpacked. I put in a claim. 1 month later nothing. They told me that claims take 4-6 weeks. 2 months later, after I complain, they reject my claim. Reason: I did what I was told: to sign the disclaimer before seeing my property. Reason: I waited more than 5 days to put in a claim. I was going through medical issues. It takes time to sort the contents. I presumed that I would have 30 days to review the contents for damage. This company is incompetent. I do not understand how they are still in business. My experience was very similar to everyone else who has posted reviews below. Online Schedule Delivery Date was August 6th 2018. August 6th,2018 I call UPS Customer Service to track item, they said I need to call the Freight Service centre to schedule an appointment. They transfer me, no one picks up and directly goes to "Lenny's Voicemail". I called back again, and left voice mails from 10am -5PM (Closing time). Never received a call back. August 7th, Called the Freight Service Centre at 9am call go straight to "Desere's voicemail", whom is the appointment clerk. Eventually I contacted the operator whom decided to book the appointment for me for August 8th from 11am-3pm. August 8th, 2018. It is 1:30 PM I call the service centre to confirm that it will be shipped today. They then tell me that I need to book another appointment, and I asked why? THEY TOLD ME THEY COULD NOT LOCATE THE FREIGHT. SO I ASKED WHEN THE HELL WERE YOU GUYS GOING TO NOTIFY ME. So now I am on the phone to file a formal complaint. Please if there is a lawyer out there reading this, can we file a class action lawsuit against this company for horrible business practices. I agree with others - 0 stars. First, the delivery date online is a complete lie. They have to call you to make an appointment. No one will tell you this. I took the day off of work based on the online date, no one called me or ever said anything about an appointment, and I wasted an entire day waiting in the 9 am to 5 pm delivery window on that date. Then, a few days later, they finally called me and we schedule a delivery for today between 12 noon and 4 pm. I took yet another day off of work - losing money in the process for the way my time is being wasted. It gets better. Today at 1:20 pm, they called me and said "oops, it didn't make it onto a truck and will not be delivered today." I haven't been this furious at a company in a while. I placed an order through Nordstrom Rack and got an email saying it will be delivered on 01/18. On 01/11, I got an email that it was delivered so I go to my buildings mailroom and it is not there. I check the tracking and it shows that two attempts to deliver were made on 01/10 and 01/11and it will be returned back to sender. I didn't receive ANY communication, not an email, text, call, or doorbell ring that they are trying to deliver at a certain time. Do you expect customers to be waiting 24/7 outside of their apartment building for delivery? How are other couriers able to get inside this building and you are the only ones who are not able to? Don't get caught in the first time buyers scheme, UPS Freight will rip you off! I called to get a quote for a shipment going to LaBarge WY from Phoenix, AZ. The original quote was for around $1000 dollars, I about fell over when they told me the cost for a 3 x 3 pallet that weighed in at 184 lbs. The CS person asked if I have used UPS Freight before. I told her no I had not. She jumped right in and stated they had discounts for first time users and told me she would ship my pallet in three days for $179. I told her I needed to let the owner of company know and would call back tomorrow. The owner gave the ok and I called back the next day and talked to a new person. I gave her all the quote #'s and discount code. She said we were good to go and they would pick it up the next day. The driver showed up the next day and lifted the pallet and said this is about 150 lbs. I said well I paid for 184 lbs so I should be good to go. The delivery took a week and a half to deliver and the next month a received a bill for $528 stating my pallet weighed 1070 lbs. There was no way this weighed in at that much. I sent them photos of the manufactures label show each reel on the pallet weight 74 lbs each, plus the weight of the pallet. I turely believed it weighed about 184 lbs, but maybe it was 170 and the shipping clerk made a keying error and added an a 0. That was before UPS got involved. So Rec Tec ships via UPS Freight right away. Here is where my heartache begins... I get a call on Tuesday July 10 from UPS San Leandro, setting an appointment for July 11. No show on July 11. I call and find out the shipment has not even arrived at UPS yet. No apology. I see on July 12 the shipment has arrived at UPS, so I call to set a delivery for July 13. The dispatcher says 4-6pm. At 6pm on July 13 I call UPS to see about delivery, the dispatcher John can't find it, confirms it did not go out for delivery and doesn't know when it will be delivered. Promises to call me back. What a horrible experience we had with this company. How proud they must be to see they have a one star rating, yet nothing changes and it never will. I will never buy from a business that uses this company to transport their items. First off, we got a call that told us when our freight delivery was coming and was told if there was a problem, to call them. The lady's name was Gail, but when I called the voice message was Mindy. The message said email might be better. So, I left a voice mail and I emailed her. No reply to either. The message left by Gail broke up, so I didn't get a clear idea of when to expect my delivery. We finally figured out it was the 2nd of April and rearranged our schedules around that, as we needed to be home to sign off on the delivery. The morning of the delivery, they leave another message saying they had to reschedule it for the following Tuesday. I missed the call again and tried calling back, but of course I knew no one would reply. I left them a seething message and hung up. We rearranged our lives around them coming Friday and had another appointment on Tuesday. We wanted to switch our delivery date, but couldn't because no one calls back. I doubt they even listen to messages! There is absolutely no way to talk to anyone if you miss the phone call. So, the day comes for the delivery and thankfully it arrives before our appointment, no thanks to them. It was purely by accident. We live in a rural area, so there is no curb, just a narrow two way road. The driver is anything but friendly and leaves the pallet of materials in the road. Our driveway was inches away, but no, he was not allowed to put it on private property. Knowing the mail would soon come and the materials would be in the way of that and cars, we had to unload the entire thing and put it up into the driveway. A kind neighbor and friend was there and helped us. I have to say that any other company who has delivered to our home has been kind enough to at least put things in the driveway and he drivers have always been friendly and accommodating. UPS Farmingdale location need some help. The supervisors are insensitive and clueless. I was told I must be at my location between 10:00 and 6:00 on 3/16 to receive an oversized package. I waited all day and called several times throughout the day to confirm delivery. I was told the package would be here by 6:00. Tracking all day showed the package was at the Farmingdale Facility since 3/12. Every time I checked tracking throughout the day, it showed that it didn't leave the facility. I then kept calling and was continually assured I would receive it by 6:00. I was told on one occasion that someone would call me back within an hour for an update. When no one called, at about 3:00 I called again and learned the driver forgot to put the package on the truck. You can imagine my frustration since I missed a days work and had to leave the State for a few weeks. As I was voicing my frustration to a supervisor at the Farmingdale facility, she hung up on me before I could reschedule, by making believe she was transferring me to her supervisor. I understand mistakes are made, but I tried calling since the early morning hours and if I was told then that the driver forgot to put it on the truck, I wouldn't have wasted my day. I would think that UPS would have a better system to update its tracking system to reflect problems like this when it arises, rather than give the customer false hope that the package is still scheduled to arrive by 6:00 pm. This is about shipment they were suppose to deliver. UPS Freight calls on Monday and says: Your shipment is here, lets schedule an appointment for Friday. I'm like: "Sounds great 1-5pm on Friday, just call me an hour before"; they say "ok!" Friday, 4:30pm rolls around, no calls. I try to call UPS, nobody's there to pick-up the phone or talk to. I drive to drop-off location... nothing, no UPS Freight in-sight. So they missed a delivery window they set themselves. Monday goes by, no calls. Tuesday goes by no delivery, no calls. Tuesday night I call and leave a VM for the lady who originally scheduled the appointment. Following morning, no response. In the afternoon I get a call from the drop-off facility "your package was delivered, you better come here in the next hour or else.." Wow, UPS, this is a major fuck up. Did Not follow directions, did not keep the appointment that they scheduled and did not communicate to see if it's ok to deliver.
