Glad to see they still have the peanuts and rolls!
    Amy S.

The hostess seated us, we waited 18 minutes and nobody ever came to our table. The table next to us ordered drinks, they were delivered, their food order was taken. The people sitting behind us received their food and we watched our waiter return and ensure everything was okay, but absolutely nobody approached our table to greet us, tell us it would be a minute, or even acknowledged us. We were sitting in the corner so it was very obvious who our waiter was because he had both tables adjacent and behind us, but he never noticed. We had a few rolls and ate the peanuts before we decided we were just too thirsty to wait 20 minutes to even be acknowledged.

Got on line with an hour wait. Get there and we are told there would be an hour wait! Great job

What can I say, from the time we walked in, the service was terrible. First of all the host staff began to seat us and then told us to wait 5 more minutes to clean off a table. She sat us at a table that has NO server. When I asked for a server or a manager to take our order they offered a complimentary cactus blossom. When it arrived 15 minutes later (after asking the whereabouts of it to the same manager that offered it to us ) it was raw. The front end manager came to our table and said she took our blossom off our bill. I proceeded to tell her that it was complimentary and that we weren't being charged for it. When our food arrived, one of our steaks was ordered medium but came out rare. At this point we had all we could take and asked for it taken off our bill. The waitress Blanca however was very understanding and took that steak off the bill. Unfortunately we will definitely NOT be back !!

Crumpled receipt from another customer to look like salad

EAT HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!! I am a longtime customer and fan of Texas Roadhouse. I have eaten there multiple times and in different states. Recently I have noticed a significant decline in both food and service. Relating to my most recent visit Jan. 24,2025 at 8:57 pm in West Bend, WI the pictures say 1,000 words. Prior to ordering our food we received dirty silverware and napkins which was quickly removed/replaced by our waitress. We ordered food & 1 glass of house wine which took more than 15 minutes (they were not busy at 9pm) to get. Then the food came. My salad was delivered with a crumpled up receipt from some previous customer to look like lettuce with cheese on top (see pictures). Intentional? The manager was called and 10 min later arrived after speaking with the bartender(?). She was irritated to have to deal with a problem. She removed the receipt, put it in her pocket and told me she'd make another salad for me, no apology, no surprise in finding a foreign object in their food as if this has happened before. Regardless of my decision to stay or go we better pay the bar bill. Seriously...not concerned about the food coming from the kitchen but the cost of 1 glass of house wine? What has happened to Texas Roadhouse?

I would give it 5 stars just for how nice our server Michelle was! However food was just ok - chef was slow at cooking and wrong item came out for my son. It took 1.5 hours from the time we sat down until the time we got the bill . Food looked great but was mediocre and possibly rushed. My son ordered a filet and got a Sirlion steak well done. And by the time his came out it was already an hour wait for the food. He is 10 so we didn't want to stay too long. Food at the other location in Michigan was so good that while staying in Wisconsin we decided to stop in Tvis location . Service by waitress was excellent just food quality and chef prep wasn't as good as expected Stop in and review for yourself .

The bartenders are very attentive and consistent in their weak alcohol pours. Staff- very well trained and personable. The only significant fault is the staff asks at least 5 times during our meal "how is whatever we are eating?" It is annoying and they are consistently interrupting conversation. You can barely take the last bite before they are asking if you are done and can they clear? Definitely makes it difficult to "enjoy" the great food and atmosphere. We eat there almost every week because of the food BUT every time they ask us if we have been there before... we recognize all of them by name but few remember us. Adore the bread and steaks:) Recommendation: Tell the staff to slow down a little ....create the feeling of being welcome instead of checking in so often. It feels chaotic ...

We were seated right away on the second floor at a regular table. There are also some high-tops that were being used for parties of two. Our waitress did a great job getting us waters, menus, and our first drink order. She also let us know what the weekend specials were. We started with the Spinach Artichoke Dip, which was very good. It came with a bunch of pieces of grilled sourdough bread, which complemented the dip nicely. Our drinks were good, though I felt the Golden Hour Paloma was a little underwhelming. For entrées, we ordered the Grilled Salmon, the Orville Salad (with shrimp), the Filet Mignon, and I had the special, "Inferno" -- a grilled tenderloin filet on top of a deep-fried portabella mushroom, served on spinach with a touch of sriracha. While waiting, the server came over to update and apologize for the delay. I only mention this because I really didn't think the wait was unusually long (but I appreciated their attentiveness). After a few more minutes, our food arrived, and it was excellent -- served at good temperatures, with terrific flavors and generous portions. The special (filet on mushroom and spinach) was excellent. The filet was ordered medium rare but came out closer to medium; still, it was very good. The fried mushroom was crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The sauces were an excellent complement and tied everything together. I would definitely order that again. The noise level was good overall, though there were moments -- when seating new tables or during the ordering process -- when it got VERY loud. I wouldn't have wanted that to last the whole time. Throughout the evening, we were well attended to. Friendly, efficient service with great follow-through (thanks, Rachel). The Orville goes on the "Must Come Back To" list. :)

The ambiance was nice and the service was outstanding! Food: Appetizer: Calamari - pretty basic here, very similar what you get at other restaurants Salad: Caesar Salad - I felt it was underdressed. The anchovies was the saving grace for this salad. Caprese Salad - could have used more basil. Sides: Lobster Mac n Cheese - outstanding! A little pricey but one of the best things we had this night. Asparagus - When I see it's grilled I expect crispy tops, these felt like they were kissed by the grill. Main: Dry Aged Rib Eye with Bleu cheese topping - This was great! Cooked perfectly, seasoned well, tender. 10oz Filet with wild mushrooms - wifey said it was outstanding, cooked and seasoned well. The mushrooms were good but they were marinated button mushrooms... not the wild mix we would expect. Overall Experience: Our server Addie was amazing. Especially given the waitresses did it all... get drinks, take orders, bus tables... she was able to provide awesome service. The bar selection, for me, horrible. Beer selection was 2 Macro beers and 2 Lakefront beers. Bourbon selection, Woodford and something else I don't remember... nothing for me. My wife enjoyed the wine selection though. Would we go back? Yeah.. I mean, it's an expensive place to go. The service and steaks would bring us back, everything else could use some work in my opinion. So far though, best place to get steaks in the area

The restaurant was clean upon arrival, and seemed to be a normal night for this restaurant even had the piano playing in the background. That's all when things started to snowball, upon being greeted at the hostess desk we were invited to help ourselves to a seat at the bar as they would be with us in a few moments. We had a reservation so this was odd but ok. They came back and just pointed us to a table from the bar. Waited a good while to finally get our drink order taken. Mine came quickly the misses had to wait for a good while for hers which was disappointing as we were already previously seated at the bar where we were pointed to help ourselves to a table. She said something about her water being off flavored and shortly after noticed a chunk of something stuck to the inside of her water cup. We decided to order an appetizer of the bacon jam toast thing as it was obvious at this point the staff was struggling to keep up with all the tables and they needed a moment to regroup before placing a whole meal order. The appetizer was great delicious and left us wanting more. We then ordered our steaks mashed potatoes and tried the lobster mac. All of that tasted great also. We were questioning each other where the lobster was in the mac and overheard the waitstaff talking to what sounded like a regular that they ran out of lobster. (They told them to enjoy a round of drinks on them someone was already running to get more). We finished with desert as it was our anniversary the peanut butter cheesecake. Upon arriving at the table it looked as though it had fingerprints on the side like someone used their fingers to place it on the plate. We ate it and again was very good rich and had a great flavor. You probably would ask yourself if we told them any of these things, they apologized for wait to be seated, apologized for the service several times stating "there's a few large groups in back" on their own. Replaced the water cup and said sorry about that. They knew they were out of lobster and tried to pull one more dish before getting more. Lastly we were done when desert came and just wanted to leave. Definitely not going back here anytime soon!

We ordered a couple of appetizers including the meatballs, and a sampler plate with fried mushrooms, duck strips, chicken tenders and mozzarella sticks. Our entrees included the filet, rib steak, bbq ribs, scampi, and french dip. The appetizers were okay. Not a fan of all the heavily fried items. The meatballs were tasty and probably the best of the items. (although the presentation was not very appetizing). We also got served warm bread sticks, and honestly I love warm bread but they seemed over warmed and tough. I did not finish mine. My Lobster was very good. The other parts of the meal were subpar. The salad seemed whilty and the vegetable medley was over cooked and flavorless. Tried some of the items. The filet, and rib steak were both excellent. The bbq ribs were okay, but a little overcooked (i like to have a little chew). They stopped over with the dessert tray and were very persuasive. Did save a little room for the Peanut Butter Brownie Torte. That was very good. The evening was kind of mixed bag. The service was spotty and some of the food items were not remarkable. If I went back I would skip the appetizers and just focus on the steak and lobster choices. The prices are reasonable, so perhaps its a good value for some customers.
