The food was horrible. The Mac and cheese tasted like buttered noodles. The T bone $40 steak tasted like salt. The steak bites were not cooked all the way through. We got wrong sides. They forgot our appetizer. Our server was a little passive aggressive. We got Dr. Pepper and it was watered down it tasted like seltzer. We also got the wrong soda and it was flat. If I could give zero stars, I would. I don't know what kind of "steakhouse" this is, but it felt more like a cafeteria that lost a bet with a microwave. My "medium rare" steak came out drier than the Texas desert and tasted like it was seasoned with disappointment. The waiter disappeared faster than my appetite, and when they finally showed up, they acted like I was interrupting their dinner. The mashed potatoes looked like they came straight out of a box, the rolls were cold, and the "butter" tasted suspiciously like margarine's sad cousin. We visited the Springfield Mass location tonight......2/23/25 at around 8pm Farrah our server was PHENOMENAL!!! She is an asset to your restaurant and it needs to be known! A great personality and superb service are two things you don't normally see together when dining out (at least not for us) we have 3 kids and she catered to our every need! The first one was in Naples Fl and it was bad, the place was to loud and back then they had peanuts shells all over the floor, and the food wasn't that great neither. My wife have never been so we try the one here in Springfield. I decided to give it a try but once again i was not impress. Out server were great all of them, we had different waitresses and waiters i don't know why but they were all very nice. The salad was pretty good, the soda was kinda flat. My wife order a sirloin medium well with the shrimps, the stake came out well done and the shrimp wasn't eatable we did not like them. I order the ribeye steak medium and it came out medium well with a side of ribs, the ribs were good and the sweet potato was ok. I came on tonight to enjoy a nice dinner with my husband for our anniversary. I asked for Ian to be my server and waited 20 minutes or so to be seated in his section. It was well worth it. He is so pleasant and very attentive! I left a similar review a few months ago. I asked him if he was ever told from management that I had left a great review, but sadly, he was not told. Management needs to do a better job with that. There are so many negative comments made about anyone in any type of customer service these days, it would have been nice if he was told he made a great impression. I will be back and ask for Ian as my server and the next time I do come in, I'm hoping they tell him a customer said some nice things about him. read more

Hello So we had dinner at Texas Roadhouse yesterday and the service was terrible. My husband got his chili first and I was waiting for my salad and our appetizer and it never came we go our dinner first. When our waitress came over she said that it was the kitchen was at fault. So we told her that we would take our appetizer and my salad home and then like 5 minutes later my salad and appetizer came out. We were do disqualified with our dinner. It was one of my favorite steak restaurants until this Sunday. Shortly before the pandemic we took my grandchildren there, unfortunately it was rush hour, the kids menu was terrible dry chicken fingers cold fries, ribeye which I ordered medium well I got it over cooked, but... after waiting 45 minutes for the table and over an hour for the food, I blame it on rush hour. This Sunday, I ordered my ribeye, and guess what, I guess they thought I didn't know what a ribeye was, because they served me a sirloin, having picked my steak out of the display case, just by looking at it, I knew it wasn't what I ordered. I don't know if it was the chef or the sous chef who brought me the steak without even an apology. WOW! 5 stars to the waitress because she was very courteous, polite and even seemed embarrassed. I don't know how to rate my experience here. I used the call ahead seating feature and advised I would be there for 7:00 pm. I was told on the phone I would be seated at 7:30. Not the case, I didn't get to my table until about 830. Normally I would have left but I had a gift card and didn't have many options in the area. However, once we were seated the experience changed. We were giving a nice large booth and had an extremely knowledgeable waitress come right over. She was very fast and friendly. First, this place has always had decent, if not outstanding, food. Second, it is a shame that this corporation is overly focused on sneakily raising your purchase price without fully disclosing how much you are going to be asked to pay. Whenever a customer orders a meal that includes a baked potato or sweet potato, the waitress is trained to suggest additional toppings, which have additional up-charges attached. If you "load" a baked potato with onions and mushrooms it will cost you TWO DOLLARS extra. I also noticed that NONE of the drinks listed on either the separate alcoholic beverages menu OR the NON alcoholic drinks (soda, lemonade, etc.) on the food menu have ANY prices listed. My waitress "didn't know" the price of a lemonade, but offered to "go find out". The General Manager Jason defended the policy of not putting beverage prices on the menu, and indicated that the company's goal was to increase the average sale through add-ons. That is all well and good with me, but intentionally hiding pricing in the menu and not telling a customer they will have to pay extra for add ons is dishonest at least.
