So I'm really disappointed in this location and their service and attitude/attention to both details and feedback Unfortunately this is not a new thing. It has continued to happen when I order to go meals to pick up. So Saturday, yes I know Saturday is a very busy time. Frankly it doesn't seem to matter when I place my online order. I placed an order for 2 meals and the boneless wings appetizer. Each of them should come with rolls and this is reflected on the printed bag order. Since I've been shorted on rolls to include getting none at all in my last orders, I asked about the rolls. You have enough for 4. Great....I had one bag with 4 rolls and 5 butters. Not three packs of rolls. You know we love the rolls and that is a part of why we chose this restaurant. Now what really gets me upset about this is, the guy in front of me at the pickup window was flirting with the girl and asked for extra rolls ...No problem she said and picked up a big bag, at least 15 plus rolls with butter and hands them to him with his bag. Which frankly reminded me to ask about the rolls. I wasn't asking for extra just my included rolls. Ok shorted once again....at least I got some. Unfortunately nothing new. Then I went looking for the sauce for my wings...nowhere to be found. I ended up using part of my caesar salad dressing for a few of them. Wings with no dressing was a fail. Rest of my food was good. Enjoyed the chili, they did remember the crackers and cheese. My sweet potato while not cut had the butter/cinnamon/brown sugar. Mushrooms and onions were heavenly and my steaks were cooked to order. So why am I in here bitching about it? I should take it up with the restaurant and I have more than once. I have heard absolutely nothing back from them anytime. I sent an email and also explained in the automatic survey sent to me after the order as I've done other times. Maybe here they might notice they have a problem and correct it. Or maybe they just don't care....my problem not theirs. It's really a shame as I end up at Chili's, Cheddars ,Aspen Creek or 54th st restaurant for to go steak several times a month as their orders are correct. Stopped in at a good time when the wait is probably at its shortest and at the start of early dining special hours so score. After a short 5-minute wait, we were seated and our order taken. I go with the sirloin medium rare with a load baked potato as my side and a garden salad to start. The salad comes out first and all the veggies are fresh, crisp and the vinaigrette dressing is tangy and tasty. Simple but tasty. The sirloin comes out next and it is a perfect medium rare with a nice sear on the outside. It cuts easy and is tender. The sweet potato is good and even better after I add in some cinnamon butter. And of course, the rolls with butter are always a welcomed part of the meal. Overall, I always get consistent quality of food at an affordable price point with good service at Texas Roadhouse. Time to give flowers where they are due. This marks my fourth visit to Texas Roadhouse, and not once have I left with a bad word to say. The place is always buzzing. I am not a reservation guy, but if you plan to eat here on a weekend, it is best to put your name down early. It is packed for a reason. Three out of my four visits I have managed to snag a seat at the bar top. This, my friends, might be a top five people-watching spot in all of greater San Antonio. It is funny really. The worst experience for us our party of five. Went on the app to get on the waitlist, the time quoted was fine. We didn't mind waiting just didn't want to go till it 5 mins before. We checked in and were informed that there was an additional 10 minutes to wait, ok fine. We ended up waiting an additional 15 minutes before we were told that the only available table was originally a 4 top but they could an add a chair. I expressed concern about if we would fit but was assured it would been fine, so I agreed (my teens were starving). It turned out to be a small four top and the chair was sticking out to a path way to the front door. Again tried to roll with it and get dinner. Our waitress was great, though even she commented she was surprised by our seating due to its small size. We went to order drinks, they didn't have what the hubby and I originally ordered, fine we ordered food. While waiting for our meal my chair was bumped serval time by people trying to get out the door. It was so uncomfortable. Then the food came, two of our steaks were over cooked and the burger was crunchy. At this point we just wanted to go home, so we got the check and left. This experience was just horrible. read more

So this was our first time here. I got to say the vibe in this place is cool. Love listening to country music while eating and drinking. The fresh baked rolls were good especially with the butter they give. We only had the one from Walmart and this was way better than that version. The lady that helps us was good and always asked us if we were doing good. We got the triple app and it had fried pickles chicken wings and tater skins which was all great. I got the bbq chicken and 6oz sirloin with loaded mashed potatoes and butter corn. I got to say it was the best I've had in a long time. I asked for a manager, which ended up to be Orthillo(not sure if I spelled it right), the manager asked, you want this recooked Or have another one cooked but would take a little longer. I agreed to wait for a New steak to be cooked. 5 minutes passed and Orthillo brought back the original under cooked steak, STILL pink. Needless to say, my wife couldn't eat cuz I wasn't eating. She ended up taking her food to go and I didn't eat anything. Cut into the steak, that part was medium, but a bit over-salted. Other side of the steak was a bit rare - undercooked. Highly disappointed in this place. I'd eliminate the table right beside the kitchen entrance. We were seated at a table in the bar area and had the wait staff yelling to each other going in/out of the kitchen. I get it, they can crash into each other, however, it's right beside the diners faces by a couple feet. Lexi, the bartender, waited on us. She took our orders, brought our drinks then disappeared. I don't think a bartender should be slinging cocktails and tables of diners, it's too much. No one checked our drinks for refills, food was good but warm at best. San Antonio 410 Texas Roadhouse we were stuck in a back corner of a half full restaurant, and the first thing we noticed we were given dirty silverware, not water stained but silverware with gristle still on it. manager just had waitress replace it without an apology. waitress took her time not only delivering new utensils but with every request, we had to wait forever for her to even come to our table, to take or refresh drinks. I had to go find her to ask if we could get drinks and had to get my own to go boxes. I was very disappointed in the whole experience. I've had better service during much busier times. The experience was so bad that my family and I will probably start going elsewhere. I'm sure it doesn't bother them as I only spend 2-3 thousand a year there. For starters, our appetizer was a rude, bad attitude, slow, constant insincere apologetic server. Took us like 15 minutes to get a hello and another 5-8 minutes for our drinks. Once we got our disgusting drinks, I noticed red specs frozen into our ice and floating around in the drinks. I mentioned it to our server. She said it was tajín as if I didn't know what tajín was. My drink didn't even have tajín on or in it. So she reluctantly took my drink back and brought out a different drink upon my request. When she finally brought my new drink out (another 15-20 mins later) it also had red specs floating around so I didn't drink it and didn't complain about it. We paid for them. Once she FINALLY took our orders, she later brought our order out and it was wrong. My husband ordered an 8oz New York Strip and she brought out and 8oz sirloin and shrimp and she said "oh well it's loud in here", yet she never once repeated the order after taking it. Isn't that like rule one of taking an order as a server? So she took the plate back and rolled her eyes. I know this bc my 10 yr old daughter told us. We ate and after another 15-20 mins she brought my husbands plate out. He had to eat quickly bc we were practically done with ours. My ribs were hard as beef jerky. Went solo to the Cinema Ridge location at 12:30p.. place was getting busy & ordered prime rib med rare but the steak was delivered & couldn't be easily cut & some of the toughest chewiest prime rib I've had in a long time. Told the nicest waitress & her very attentive manager who ordered another which came out the same way Inedible meat !! Told them they will likely have more issues from others if they have a bad hunk of prime rib. The mgr wrote off the meal as the only thing I munched on was the salad & rolls. I said that I was going to visit the Hollywood Park location at this moment because it was perfect when I went a few days ago. Well I went to the other Restaurant at Hollywood & sure enough I ordered the prime rib that came out perfectly tender melt in your mouth delicious & very easy to cut. I'm very nervous about revisiting cinema ridge if they are ordering substandard prime rib meat that is more concerning is the chef & managers aren't trying to eat their Prime Rib to substantiate they shouldn't be serving bad meat that can't be chewed. Kinda strange that I had two bad cuts of prime rib at Cinema Ridge & a perfect cut at Hollywood Park. Customers beware but the sever & management handled a bad situation the best they could as true concerned professionals. It's not their fault their Prime Rib beef was BAD but they should try to eat some beef if someone brings the issue to their attention. I travelled directly to the Hollywood Park location after leaving Cinema Ridge & my confidence was restored but I definitely wasted a lot of time for what shoulda been a reliable Prime Rib dinner at the first restaurant visited. been going to this location for years. The bar service has degraded badly. But last night was the worst. I sat down next to another regular and it was almost 10 mins before anyone acknowledged me to get a drink, we were sitting right next across from the register where the servers were huddled together talking. I made a comment and the other regular said it took them 30 mins to acknowledge him and get a drink. We went New Year's Eve around 4 pm for our 15th wedding anniversary. We got seated right away. Our waiter, Dom, was one of the best we had ever attended Texas Roadhouse. Our food was super hot and fresh. The sangria we ordered was flavorful and plenty to share. The meal was attractive to the eyes and delicious to our palettes. There was so much food, we had plenty to bring home to eat later. The atmosphere at this establishment is always upbeat and fun. My son & his friends visited this location on Thursday May 29. They had a terrible experience. He ordered a bacon cheeseburger but they were out of burger patties... what franchise restaurant is out of burger patties!! He then ordered chicken critters (adult) but got the child's size- still got charged adult. Overall their waiter was rude, dismissive and absent. The Mac and cheese side was brought over after he finished the critters. It seems like this location needs a lot of attention or restructuring of employees. My party had made a reservation online, and still had to wait almost half an hour to be seated. After we finally were seated, it took over 45 minutes for them to remember that we ordered meals. They even messed up and ignored my husbands allergy request regarding no beef on the smothered chicken, and shamed us for asking for additionally bread while waiting for our meals. We never had to ask for a refill, and he apologized for the long wait on food. I think he even had something to do with us getting comped for some of our items. I believe they actually lost our ticket or gave some of our items to wrong table. I got a ribeye that was actually undercooked, but I thoroughly enjoyed it! So I'm now accidentally a medium rare fan. No one at the table complained about our steaks. They are above average in flavor. I still prefer longhorn, but this isn't bad for the price. The one dissatisfying ghost, is the dam sides. I mean we get it, if you're coming for the sides, we are doing something wrong. Yet if the sides complimented the beef, I doubt it would get such bad reviews, and the wait times would be more tolerable. The steak fries as always under seasoned, either over or under cooked, no seasoning on macaroni, under seasoned mashed potatoes, cold shrimp, etc..... The bread well it's always good with the butter. Why can't they put the simple execution they put into the rolls and butter into the sides? I wanted to give it a 3.5, but we can't. My wife and I had dinner tonight at your restaurant. We waited 20 minutes to be seated. That's a reasonable amount of time for a popular place so we were pleased. My wife ordered the sirloin & shrimp combo. I ordered an 8 oz. Dallas cut, medium-rare. Service was very prompt - arriving before the appetizer and salad were finished. Unfortunately, I got a 6 oz. Dallas cut and it was well done. I asked to have it replaced. Victoria said a manager would bring out the new dish. Fifteen to twenty minutes later, after my wife had finished dinner, my meal arrived. The manager did not bring it out. It shouldn't have taken that long, so I declined the meal. We paid and left.
