Ambiance- it's loud, many tvs w various sports events, like a fun 'chaotic' buzz w all the decor and energy. Service- been there twice & the service was amazing both times, super cute, well mannered, helpful, kind, friendly/ everyone from the host to bus boys everyone is like Chick-fil-A friendly (chicken n pickle lost this) Food- vibes one time we had burgers soooo gigantic and delicious!!! The appetizers were OK, typical Bar Food....almost not worth mentioning. We had Salads chicken was fine and we order bacon bits which were scarce but they did cover the salad in these potato things which were gross. Waiter said it was fine and that I could pull them off.... Nice. I did and revealed quite a bit of ice-burg lettuce just getting a little brown.....maybe a free specs of bacon that costs extra.....they really push it also. I won't eat here again. Besides the place needing a really good cleaning..... everything. You'd probably be amazed how must dust you are eating when the air conditioning system starts blowing. Look at the picture frames and electrical outlets with power cords, blow up the picture and see. They don't bother cleaning the table sides or menu holders......YUCK So I tried with the on duty Manager in the ASH gray tshirt who I thought at first was the Dishwasher. He was Ok the first conversation, we told him we just wanted the table to be cleaned. They complied, took them twice though. The second conversation he listened but I could tell he couldn't care less, so I looked for reasons to not to call the Health Inspector and asked him for some??? He told me to call the Managing Partner and kinda laughed then walked off. I saw this place must be owned or Managed-by Texas Roadhouse...... what a shame, this place could be great !! It is NOT. Additional note: Restrooms were filthy and unattended, used paper all over and unattended trash overflowing. I just think this is a sign of poor Management at this location. Maybe some re-training is in order ?? The single bartender was also overwhelmed. My friend recommended Bubba's 33 and he was so right! This restaurant has excellent food. I had the Bacon Grind Cheeseburger with Tater Tots. I didn't really taste the bacon that was supposed to be mixed in with the beef patty, but I definitely tasted the bacon slices that were laid across the top of the two patties. Besides the two patties, American cheese, and the bun, it came with Bubba sauce, lettuce, tomato, and onion. I enjoyed it very much and it was very filling. The Tator Tots were crispy, seasoned perfectly for my taste, and delicious. I returned two days later and had the Chicken Tender platter with sides of seasoned fries and Mac & Cheese. The chicken tenders were very moist and I had their honey mustard dipping sauce. I would definitely recommend both dishes. On each visit the manager, Ash, stopped by to talk with us, ask how everything tasted, and to ensure we were satisfied. We were!! That is great customer service by a manager. Our servers on both visits were great. I don't know if we were lucky, but we never had to wait for a table, so being seated as soon as we walked in was wonderful. The inside of the restaurant is moderately loud, but not so loud that we had to shout to be heard across our table, and they have multiple televisions playing sports events. Newly back in SA and lots of new places to eat to try! Wife found out thru social media that Bubbas's Monday Night special is $10 burgers! Any burgers! This was all well received by the fam- we each really enjoyed what we ordered. My wife got the one with the egg on top (forgot the name) , my son got the guacamole burger and so got the Patriot burger. This location is right off the freeway/ easy to find. Lots of parking. LOCATION: Just off 410 West with their own building and plenty of parking. Nice place with similar chill vibes as Chili's, Willy's, or Buffalo Wild Wings. The beers, neon signs, sports on TV, etc make it a great hangout spot and more guy-friendly than a date night spot. Nice people as well at this location. FOOD: Burgers and fries are always the go-to. I love the classic double cheese or the smashburger. It gets juicer the more bites you take. Sunshine is also great. They have a versatile menu, but just like IHOP has steaks, some items are better than others. For apps, the cheese sticks, fried pickles, and onion rings are all pretty solid. The frier is just good here. OVERALL: Good place for simple food and a good time, but the burgers and fried apps definitely stand out. read more

This bubbas wasn't playing around when they said LOADED FRIES. This has too be the most worth it location so far. They are more consistent in the kitchen unlike 1604 location. All burgers were $10 - we each chose a diff one and a different fly. My burger had the egg on it- I asked for a medium egg and it came out PERFECT. I got the tots but my family got the fries-- and they got more fries than the amount of tots I got. But my tots were crispy- just the way I like them. Don't sleep on the Bubba's sauce. Let's get straight to the point: this place is mid. And yes, I'm using that word deliberately, because nothing else fits better. I had been to this location a few years ago and remembered the food being pretty decent. But after my recent visit? I'm good on ever coming back. The tenders were okay--thick, with decent sauces--but the sides were where it all went downhill. I chose mac and cheese and fries. The fries were fine (hard to mess up fries), but the mac? Tasted like it came straight from a steamed bag. Barely any cheese, barely any flavor--just dry pasta shells with a little sad sauce. I expected something creamy, cheesy, maybe baked--not this lifeless filler. Speaking of filler, they loaded the plate with fries--classic trick to make up for a small protein portion. My family ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken Plate and Bubba's Signature 33 Pizza. The chicken looked slightly overcooked, and the mashed potatoes were bland and depressing. As for the pizza? Mostly bread and marinara. Cheese was scarce and awkwardly pooled in the center. Toppings like bell peppers were undercooked and added nothing. Honestly, Domino's tastes better, and that's saying something. Let's talk drinks. They'll absolutely try to rob you on drinks here--$6-$8 for what looked like powdered mix in water. Bar drinks had slightly more effort but still didn't justify the price. You're better off sticking to water and calling it a day. Service? Our waitress clearly wanted to be anywhere else, and it showed. Restrooms? Don't even go there--filthy. Not worth the price, the wait, or the disappointment. When I first got to the establishment the service was good. Once we got the food the server (Angelina) never came back and was instead leaning on the bar talking to one customer for over 10-15 min, and also tried flirting with my husband while I was using the bathroom...I had to ask another server for a 2-go box. I ate here two days in a row because the food was soooo tasty on the first day (and no disappointments on the 2nd day either. You're either gonna get good service or great service, so dig in those pockets for a tip! Everyone is polite and food comes out hot and timely. I love all of the tv's and variety of programs. This review is solely on the customer service at this exact location. This specific location closes at 11pm. We clearly got to the location with a big party of 14-15. We arrived at 10:10pm to ask for a table and all of our party was present. The host up front went to the back to go speak with someone. Keep in mind the tables were not busy at all. Then the host comes back and informs us that all the waiters are unable to seat a big table at the moment as they are capped out. She tells us there's a 30-45 minute wait if that's ok. Keep in mind it's already 10:20pm. Whatever. We call their bluff and wait, then when they see us not leaving they seat us. Come to the table and we're rushed by the waiter, she takes our drinks and as we don't really have time to look at the menu, she then tells us the kitchen closes in 10-15 minutes, again.... Rushing us. As we don't want to be there longer than we have to anyways lady. Fast forward to us getting our food and right as she hands the food out, without us taking a single bite, the waiter asks...." Would yall need any to- go boxes by chance so I can have those ready. lol unbelievable. It's within business hours at that. Very disappointed we ordered two Monte Cristo . It was brought with no raspberry preserves. We thought they forgot it. We asked she said I'll bring some. Then I was told we are out. We packed up our meals so we could go buy raspberry reserves at the grocery store. The manager didn't come by its our first visit and uninformed. The manager is went to find seemed unconcerned. Besides saying they are making some now. Someone could have said that before we packed our food up. The table next to us said you didn't even get a newbie cup. The manager will if you tell them. This was my first time eating at Bubba's 33. This place is really great. Very nice decor and just a friendly ambiance. I counted at least 25 TV's, this would be a great place to watch some football with friends. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and it was absolutely delicious, there is bacon ground up in the meat along with 2 strips of bacon on the burger. I'm telling you it was "baconey", that's not a word but it should be. My daughter had the club sandwich and her husband had the sunshine burger. There were no complaints coming from anyone. Our server was very attentive always making sure our drinks were full. I did notice something that was different. The plates have a raised area in the middle of them. When they bring the burger to you it looks like it comes with a mountain of fries, it doesn't. It didn't matter I couldn't eat all the fries anyway, the burgers are huge. I asked for some lemon for our water and the waitress stated "they" were cutting the lemons and would bring us some soon. Waited! Waited! The fish was greasy which indicated the "Fryer" was not up to temperature when the fish was set down in the grease. Wish we had some lemon to cut the grease taste! The Cole Slaw was very good! And the Customer Service was acceptable but not epic! Yet, we will return! If nothing else for the Onion Rings and Cole Slaw! The pay at your table feature was easy, appeared safe and fast! Tipped our usual 20% as a minimum for we have tipped up to 50% for Superb Service. Wait staff should not lie to customers! If you can't remember write it down! Overall Good! I order from here via Uber, and I've ordered several different items [pizza, burgers, salads] and its all been great. But the grilled chicken salad is by far the absolute best! It comes with quite a bit of chicken, LOTS of lettuce, boiled egg, tomatoes, etc. And they chop everything up, so all I have to do is put the salad dressing on it and stuff my face. This was my second time to a Bubba's restaurant. It was my family's first. It was busy, but luckily I went to their website ahead of our arrive and signed up on the wait list. The overall atmosphere and decorations were great. My husband and sons loved the amount of TVs in the restaurant. They were able to watch an MLB and college baseball game at the same time Drinks - We ordered a LIT and Michelob Ultra draft. Both were good. The kids had Dr. Pepper and Honest Apple juice. Food - we started off with the crooked mozzarella sticks. They were so good, we ordered a second. The marina was seasoned well and no additional salt was needed. We ordered wings with a side of tots/fries, bacon cheeseburger with fries, Buffalo chicken sandwich with fries and the chicken tender plate with fries and Mac. Overall everything was good except the Mac and Buffalo chicken sandwich. The Buffalo sauce taste was too different. Mac had barely any sauce. Chicken tenders and honey mustard were perfect! We went to bubba's on a whim. They had a special on Long Island ice teas. They were very good. We started out with some garlic knots for an appetizer and the whole family devoured them as they were so good. They even offered marinara and cheese for a dipping sauce. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and it was amazing. The burger was cooked perfectly and had a ton of flavor. We will be back. I had a truly disappointing experience at this restaurant. From the moment I arrived, the hostess had an attitude that set the tone for the evening. After being seated, I waited over ten minutes without anyone checking on me or even offering water. I ultimately decided to leave because the service was non-existent. Hello I would like to say the service at bubbas 33 is AMAZING the servers were so sweet and gave us their best they did not slack at all and were so kind to me and my friends when we went, but the worst part about bubbas is everytime i go i always end up sick to my stomach after eating there. sometimes its right away after i eat the food or it hits me the next day and im always throwing up this has happend to me multiple times, my friend the last time we went she ended up in the doctors, and my boyfriend who was throwing up the next day after eating a burger and cheese fries from there. Me and my friend had the pizza and the wings always make me sick. I don't know what they do in the kitchen when making the food but i have always gotten sick after eating there. read more
