    11' Buffalo chicken pizza

The staff was friendly. Food took about 20min to be ready. Everything was really delicious. My kiddos loved their plates. The place wasn't very busy and there is a lot of seating. It was a nice stop after a busy day.

Always the friendliest staff and great food. Lots of specials to choose from. On this particular outing, I couldn't decide whether I wanted a burger or pizza so I got the mushroom mozzarella burger, plain and dry, and added grilled onions and marinara. Wowza. Highly recommended

This location is new. It was really delicious. I had a salad and it was fresh. The service was wonderful. Hubs had the power bowl and the beans took a long time (?) ... I guess they make and mash them there... other than that, everything was excellent. The restrooms are super clean and the store is bright with tons of windows. They have an amazing 25% Military discount so be sure and ask for it!!!

FIRST TIME VISIT! This is a brand-spanking new business in my neighborhood on the Far Westside of SATX. I had read reviews on social media from neighbors saying they weren't impressed but on a Saturday night with the anticipation of a Bears vs. Packers Playoff game and no dinner plans yet, I decided to make a hard left while driving home on Potranco and give this place a shot for take out. THE LOCATION: Easy to find on the far left end of a strip mall that has just a few other businesses including a Dollar Tree and Mr. Teriyaki and several vacancies, too. (I love that my neighborhood is comin' up with the development of new retail and dining establishments along Potranco and near the 211!) TONS of parking. THE MENU: Wow! I literally thought this was just a burger joint. I was delighted to see they had actual plates/entrees because I'm a "dine with a fork" kinda girl and my hubby can legit eat a burger every dang day of his life. Not I. So tonight, we both get what we want. The menu is comprised of burgers, brick oven pizza, salads, milk shakes and more. The cashier tells me you can mix the shake flavors if you like. And when she tells me that EZ's is known for their rosemary chicken, I'm sold. I order the 1/4 (white meat) chicken plate that comes with steamed veggies, a white rice w/black beans and corn and focaccia bread. The hubby gets a bacon cheddar burger combo and we each sample a milk shake, chocolate mixed with cherry for me and an Oreo cookie shake (cuz he doesn't take risks when it comes to food). LOL! BONUS!!! They offer 25% discount to military and veterans! THE SERVICE: First off, the cashier to (wo)man the front was extremely competent, gave me suggestions and made me feel confident in my selections. All the staff behind the counter was busy minding their tasks, busy hands, all movement. No one standing around twiddling thumbs. I love it. THE SPACE: I was welcomed to sit and wait at a cushioned bench at the far end of the restaurant. I took advantage of the opportunity to check out the back hallway and women's restroom. The restroom, while mostly functional, was not impressive. At all. It didn't look like a brand new space in a brand new building, nor did it smell new or pleasant, has only 2 stalls, one of which was not in working order. The best thing about it was the pretty faucets. Mind you, the water was even slow to drain from the sink. Ick. As for the dining area, it has a cool diner vibe. Nothing flashy, but a simple, modern space. I was happy to see almost every table occupied by chatting couples and groups. I'd say the noise level is pretty moderate. The kitchen is open and you can easily see kitchen staff preparing meals and shakes and popping pizzas into a pretty tiled brick oven. I also noticed metal silverware at self serve stations. THE FOOD: I enjoyed the taste of my rosemary chicken. The chicken portion was off. It was like half of the chicken breast was cut away, with just the rib bones attached. I loved the crispy skin and seasoning. The meat was a bit dried out and I had difficulty swallowing it, literally choking once or twice, but I'd order it again to see if the experience gets better, ordering the dark meat instead. The steamed veggies were comprised of thinly sliced zucchini, carrot and yellow squash and tiny broccoli floret pieces. Very simply prepared but enjoyable. The rice was not very flavorful but I still enjoyed it. Also a very simple side dish that is combined with few pieces of corn kernels and black beans. The focaccia bread had a crispness to it that I loved. If you read my reviews, you know my favorite texture of food is crispy. :) My husband's burger was a very good size. He always leaves out the lettuce, onion, tomato and pickle so his burgers are usually pretty pathetic looking but this one still had volume. Impressive. He enjoyed his burger a lot and commented specifically on the taste of the beef patty after his very first bite. Our shakes were fine. I don't care for chocolate syrup in my shakes so I wouldn't do chocolate again as it tasted heavily of chocolate syrup, but the cherry was a nice touch! They use the juice from the maraschino cherry jar since they have cherries to garnish the tops of these frosty drinks. They didn't make my shakes to-go so I asked for lids and they weren't domed. Afraid some contents would come bursting out the sides of the lid, I ate both cherries and held my breath as those lids snapped into place. I also asked for a drink carrier and it is surprisingly heavy duty! Corrugated cardboard! See photo. THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE: Good. I'd like to eat in-house next time and change up my food and drink order for a different experience. I hope they improve on the women's restroom. I will be back. * sign up for their rewards program. You get a 25 pt. sign up bonus and I believe you get $10 credit for every $100 or 100 pts. earned.

1st time trying their establishment. Got a Chedder Burger (Med-Well), fries, and a Diet Pepsi. Welcome to the neighborhood. I will definitely be back.

A very small hotdog. For the price you should be getting two of these.. this is like a kids meal and it's on the regular menu
    Debbie V.

Your evening staff (cashier) described the hot dog to be a good size and it wasn't. And then they were out of chili. Highly disappointed. The chicken sandwich is probably the best on menu. I will speak to gen manager about this. Staff was unprofessional

My first introduction to EZ's was at the location off Hwy 281 and Bitters, you can't miss it however never had the opportunity to try it until now since it's opening near my neighborhood! I was in for a welcome surprise, brand new restaurant has a welcoming interior, plenty to choose from pizza, burgers, sandwiches, salads, dinner plates, beer and yes ice cream! Got in line on a Friday afternoon, the restaurant was busy filled with excitement! Join the EZ's loyalty rewards and you might get a $5 or $10 discount just for signing up! The prices are reasonable and won't break the bank and there are plenty of options to choose from! The employees were very friendly and outgoing, exceptional service! Now let's rate the food, I ordered the bacon cheddar burger, all American thick beef patty cooked to order and topped with cheddar cheese and bacon I was in for a meal, the burger pairs well with the fries and you'll be sure to be filled! My wife ordered the Pepperoni Calzone, now there are two sizes to choose from and we weren't sure so she got the 7 inch, all in all a great decision, crispy flaky exterior with a marinara cheesy and pepperoni goodness inside, an excellent choice! We got our son the kids meal pepperoni pizza and he loved it so it was a win for us! We finished the meal with a $6 banana split for us to all share, it's a great size perfect for us and our son, he really enjoyed the ice cream! Overall, amazing service, great food, and excellent atmosphere, there's something for all the family, we'll be sure to return, welcome to the neighborhood EZ's!!!

FOOD was amazing. My only complaint is that the cook should probably wear gloves if they are going to handle food.

The first night I was greeted by a friendly host and sat at the bar, where Billy took great care of me. He recommended the Cotto e Salsiccia, and I'm so glad he did. It was easily one of the best pizzas I've had. While I was there, the cheesemaker let me try a bite of the fresh mozzarella they were making in-house. It was still warm and absolutely delicious. The next night I was feeling a little homesick after being away for work, and all I could think about was that pizza. I walked back in and the host greeted me by name. I sat at the bar again, where another bartender remembered me from the night before, and Billy came over just to say hi. It seems like such a small thing, but when you're traveling alone, being welcomed back like that can completely change your evening. What really impressed me was seeing that it wasn't just me. The guy next to me ordered two pizzas to go, and when the chef brought them out he smiled and said, "Oh, Jose! I thought this order looked familiar!" You can tell they actually know their regulars and genuinely enjoy what they do. The second night I ordered the Fontina e Salsiccia, and somehow it was just as good as the first pizza. Everything is cooked in the wood-fired oven--even the wings--and you can taste the difference. The crust has that perfect char, the ingredients are fresh, and it's the kind of authentic Neapolitan pizza that keeps you thinking about it long after you've left. I've eaten at a lot of good restaurants while traveling, but very few have made me feel as welcome as Dough did. Great food is one thing. Great people are what made me come back the very next day. I'll absolutely be back the next time I'm in San Antonio.

When I asked why they have a hot plate shelf next to the entrance and that I burned my arm on it, the manager and greeter state? There is a sign! They took no responsibility for the ill placement of the sign! As you walk in, we saw several People back into the shelf to allow others to get buy! I can see a child burning their hand terribly on this! What did the restaurant do? Nothing... several times we suggested something be done and not until the manager realized that yes, this is a problem did he do something remotely responsible. I couldn't enjoy the food! I was upset? Hurting and taken back by the terrible way they handled the situation. For reference, I'll show you the picture with the barrier.

The food feels like the chefs were given good quality materials, but had no idea what to do with them. We ordered a funghi pizza to share then a cinghiale, a costine (short ribs), and a dentice (bass). Funghi pizza was the only dish that made coming worth it at all. It had a nice flavor, but if you're expecting the notes of an earthy mushroom flavor, don't. It's just a nicer version of a standard cheese pizza topped with some onions and mushroom. The cinghiale was just stunningly mediocre. The meat was flavorful, but the pasta itself was shockingly bland. It was just so... ok. The dentice was the best of the 3 individual dishes, but it is just what you would expect some average short ribs with random sauce to taste. The costine was just terrible. Salty on the outside, yet flavorless on the inside. Avoid at all costs. The service was passable, but they clearly overwork their servers as one server just handles an entire section and is too overwhelmed to be timely. I came to cheer myself up, but honestly it only made dinner comically worse. I seriously can't imagine what would cause someone to rate this as 5 stars. Maybe if they thought Olive Garden was 4.5, then I guess this would barely be a 5 in comparison? Either way, if you're looking for good food for your dinner, keep looking. You won't find it here.

I am not being dramatic when I say this is the best Italian restaurant I've ever experienced. Nonna…read moreOsteria is cozy and intentional just like their menu. Every dish feels thoughtfully curated with tried-and-true recipes rooted in Chef Luca and his family's Northern Italian traditions. This is the kind of place where quality takes priority over quantity. Our server, Gary, was fantastic. He was friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and passionate about Italian food and wine. His recommendations were spot-on and his enthusiasm felt so genuine. We started with a bread basket accompanied by a little sampling of tapenade, which was savory, briny, and a perfect complement to the warm bread. Came in with a group of four, we kicked things off with the burrata starter--a surprisingly fun and shareable adventure of baked burrata, fresh crostini, roasted cauliflower, asparagus, sun-dried tomatoes, artichokes, and basil cream. There was a lot happening on the plate, but it all worked beautifully together. For our entrées, we ordered the Tartufo, Cinghiale, Bolognese, and Carbonara. And let me just say, the Tartufo was a full-on dinner performance. Gary brought out steaming hot tagliatelle pasta and tossed it tableside inside a giant wheel of Parmesan. He then topped it with crab meat in brown butter before finishing it with a generous shaving of truffle. Every bite was like a perfectly timed symphony of flavors--rich, savory, buttery, and earthy, with nothing outshining the other. I'd put this dish up against anyone's nonna. I sampled the other three entrées as well, and every one was delicious. The gnocchi in the Cinghiale is an absolute must-try--pillowy, texturally delightful, and packed with flavor. Thank you, Nonna Osteria, for such an epic culinary experience. And a special shoutout to Gary for guiding us through the menu and making an already great dinner even better.
