I was trying to make a reservation for a large work holiday party- poor customer service lost this location business. Orem Texas Roadhouse is our absolute favorite Steakhouse of all! We love the Ribeye, Salmon, Filet salad with shrimp, the smothered chicken & the Prime!! Best of all is the amazing fresh baked bread! Yum!! read more

Great hang out place to bring family and friends! We even got their fresh roasted peanuts and buttered bread while we waited to be seated! Now that's what I call great service! Portions are huge and are great to share with someone unless you are famished you will definitely devour your entree! The pork ribs are cooked to perfection and the meat literally falls off the bone as soon as you start eating them. But of course the secret is in their delicious BBQ sauce which makes their ribs and everything else incredible. There is kind of at least an hour wait especially on friday nights but it is definitely worth the wait! read more

These were some of the best steaks we've had in a long time. They were perfect. Definitely worth the longer wait on a Saturday night.

The only reason they get 2 stars is because their rolls are delicious. Other than that this place is so noisy and you can't even hear yourself eat or think. I am not super picky so when I am not pleased honestly that is pretty bad in my opinion. They also under cook their steak and leave it on the bloody side. This place is over priced for the service and meal that you get. I won't come back unless it is to get rolls to go. I can barely handle the noise waiting for my to go order. Get here before 7pm and take advantage of their "early bird" specials! You can choose from a good sized list and it won't break the bank. Bonus! The rolls are the highlights of this place. Fresh, hot, and delicious! I think I could eat those all night long, especially paired with the cinnamon butter. (i only go on sunday... because in provo almost no one is out) It is as if they started purchasing cheaper ingredients but kept their prices the same. You know you're getting good food and great service. If you've never been you need to know that the complimentary rolls they give you are addicting. They're baked in house and served with cinnamon butter. I always get a sirloin with different sides. They always get my steam just how I like it. The most legendary dart side in my opinion is the loaded sweet potato. They pack it full of brown sugar, butter, and top it with torched marshmallows. Our server Mitch was right on top of our table always bringing us what we needed before we could even ask for it. The only reason it lost a star for me was because I called in at 5:00 to get on the call ahead seating list and was quoted an hour. We arrived at 6:00 and were still waiting for about 20 minutes before we entered the building. They were doing limited seating because of COVID-19 so I do understand how that might be hard to juggle. Lesson learned, if you come here make sure you don't have any pressing after plans just in case. Over all we love this place and will be coming back. read more

A two hour lobby wait anywhere for food from a chain restaurant is not ok in my book. Just seems a long time to wait for food that you can get at any other chain steak house. So my meal was ok, ribs were on the dry side. Fries were good and I loved the bread they served. The atmosphere is noisy but it adds to the upbeat ambiance of the place. Seems the price was a little more than it's competitors but without comparing menus I can't say that it was indeed more. I just wasn't sure when I left why there was a line to start with. read more

Four rather than five stars because if you're not all about the steak, there's not much else here to come for; it's clear where their focus is. The rest of the menu is limited, and the non-steak items (chicken, pork, various kinds of potato sides, etc.) are average. So if you're a steak lover, good bet. Didn't have to wait too long even though it was in the evening, and there was nothing really to complain about service wise. Every time my husband and I go to Texas Roadhouse we are pleased. Their rolls are really, REALLY good. They also have specialty drinks that are pretty awesome. Like another reviewer said, the steaks are $13 steaks, not $45 Sundance steaks. But they're good. I always get the ribs and they never disappoint. Do yourself a favor and get the sweet potato. Your taste buds will thank you. The only cons are you have to wait FOREVER to get a seat (60-90 minutes) and the waitresses are really flirty with my husband. He's flattered, but married. read more

We have visited here every week for 4 consecutive weeks. Every single time there is something wrong with our meal. Our first time, we had a hair fried in our cactus blossom. Our second time, service was extremely slow, my salad was half rotten, and our steak was medium well when we ordered medium rare. 3rd time round, the steak we ordered was extremely salty and inedible. Our final time there, we ordered the cheese and bacon fries which were a soggy unappetising mess. I've been here plenty of times and the service has always been fine but this time was terrible. Enough to make sure I do not return. We were seated fairly quickly but it was apparent as all the tables around us were seated and quickly given drinks that we were never assigned a waiter. We waited for 20 minutes without anyone looking in our direction or walking past. Even as we walked out in frustration, not one staff member looked or talked to us even at the front desk. After ordering a 21oz steak and beer, the waiter waited 10 minutes after getting my food to ask if i needed a takeout container with my check. After him coming back a few times asking the same thing over the next 30 minutes. I left my keys on the table when going to the bathroom only to find an "overeager busboy" had cleared my table (about half my food was uneaten). The texas roadhouse did offer to comp my beer bringing my order from 31.00 to 20.00 (surprizing price for a bottle) - wich I did take. I dont know if it was to do with me appearing single, male, older with grey hair, or some other reason - but I was obviously unwelcome and will not be returning or recommending this restaurant. read more

Also, husband and I both ordered ribeyes (10 oz and 16 oz) and they were cooked to perfect temperatures and were delicious (especially for such a reasonable price). We had a great experience here today. Our service was excellent but our food was mediocre. Our server was Josh and he did an amazing job! We were lucky to have him! He checked on us often, but not so much that it was overwhelming. But we had our drinks refilled and fresh rolls often. I ordered the appetizer platter and was completely satisfied with it. We eat at Texas Roadhouse a fair amount. We thought the Orem one would be as good as Lehi. We were wrong. The service from the waitress was ok but the cooks somehow lost one order out six. Who knows why. They didn't. Also the restaurant is too small for the amount of traffic and the size of the groups. Food is always great but Orem has a few problems. Over a 30 minute wait and a dark sitting area with no peanuts. Confusing text messaging line waiting system. Got a text saying table was ready but girl said she hit the wrong button. I'm now sitting at PF Changs where seating was immediate. I have consumed a Blueberry Crush Cocktail and Thai Lettuce Wraps in the same time I would still be waiting in a dark dank corner sitting room at Roadhouse.
