Full rack of ribs, sweet potato, and side salad
    Kim K.

I ordered takeout from here at about 1 PM on a Saturday afternoon. I got a message saying it would be ready at 1:35. I arrived a few minutes early and waiting in my car and went to the window and was told they would text me when I was ready. I never received the text and waited another 15 minutes before going up to the window to get my food. The ribs were excellent and well cooked as well as the sweet potato. The salad was just OK nothing special about it. I did ask for no tomatoes which they did do. And of course, the rolls with the cinnamon butter were excellent as always. I would've given them five stars if it had not been such a long wait and they had actually texted me. I'll return because Texas roadhouse never disappoints

I was there tonight for late dinner while visiting family here in Haslet , TX. First time eating at this restaurant, I would like to try their Prime ribs but unfortunately, they run out of it. I tried their ribeye as per suggestion of the waitress, it didn't disappoint me, it was delicious and juicy, I opted the sweet potato and vegetable. Service is fast and she's so attentive. Ambience is truly a Texan. And who will forget about their famous bread. Love it! Price is right.

This us only the second time i have actually ate here and it's still good. This time i had the country fried chicken with cream gravy, a side of sauted mushrooms and steak fries. It was all so good with the mushrooms on top of the chicken. Yum. Sat at the bar this time and had a great time with Stephanie the bartender. Very helpful. The only thing i miss is the peanuts and peanut shells all over the floor.

Rolls are always hot and fresh!

In today's critical view of what is, or what isn't a steakhouse, It's always good to know that there are such the difference of what a steakhouse is compared to your BBQ house. TRH is a true steakhouse, no question. I took my wife and daughter to TRH for Valentine's, since my son is off to college, I like to treat my wife and daughter to a nice meal. I'm always critical of what the facilities look like before anything else, and the men's restroom had quite a bit of water splashed on the sink, and some debris on the floor, I didn't look that close. I had the herb crusted chicken, my wife had the NY steak, and my daughter had an appetizer. I totally get the fact that Valentine's night was going to be packed, you can't knock points for the joint literally packed and people bumping into you in the front entrance. That wasn't the issue. The young lady taking our order was rudely rushing us, and it was like we were bothering the her, and I get it, she probably had lot on her plate that night. She took our order and the food came out rather quickly, and after looking at our plates, it looked as if they were sitting under a heat lamp. I've seen better presentation at a Luby's cafeteria than how our meal was plated. It really was disappointing for the amount we paid for, and yes we were charged over $80 for this type of service. The chicken I ordered looked as if the grillman bit into it the corner, and plated it anyway as if they were doing me a favor, by gracing me with such delectable food. The grilled lemon was also thrown in to help cover the empty spaces on the plate. Chicken was not moist as one would like their chicken breast to be, veggies were veggies. The steak was mediocre at best, but i only had a couple thin slices. I will give credit to the passion that went into the diamond grill marks on the steak. All in all, my wife does like this spot for the steak, not for the service, and for the all you can eat rolls. No doubt any middle aged man knows, and accepts, and understands, Happy wife, Happy life.

I do not recall the last time I dined at a Texas Roadhouse. So when I saw one while running errands, I decided to dine here. Walking up to the entrance, I saw several folks waiting outside. So I was not surprised to see the waiting area was crowded. Rather than get on the waiting list for a table, I checked the bar area and saw several seats were available. Without being prompted, as soon as I sat down, the bartender handed me a menu and asked if I knew what I wanted to drink. I got a small Shiner Bock, but erred not asking if they had Sam Adams. I later discovered the Boston Lager was available in a bottle. Soon after serving the beer, she went to the kitchen to get their rolls. Unfortunately, I forgot how addictive the rolls were especially with the melted butter. I quickly devoured the three and thankfully was not asked if I wanted more. To my horror, the diner next to me asked if I wanted any of his. Fortunately, I had the willpower to decline. Rather than try to memorize it, she grabbed a napkin and wrote down my order: 8oz filet, baked sweet potato and buttered corn. The filet was cooked correctly. Because I ate all three rolls, I had enough room to finish the steak and the sweet potato. The corn was good but not sufficiently addictive to eat more than a few bites. For the price, I enjoyed the food & service. If I had the discipline to limit myself to one roll, I would have room for dessert.

We haven't been to a Texas Roadhouse in a few years and didn't have too high of expectations. But I was wrong ha! We were seated immediately and the hostess grabbed fresh, hot rolls for us to take to our table as we walked back there. I wanted to try to red raspberry lemonade, it's very sweet so make sure you have water to splash it down with. I enjoyed it though. We ordered the tater skins (yummmm!), grilled salmon and fried chicken with white gravy. Everything was delicious and timed right! A wonderful birthday lunch together.

    Best server ever!!!

Average food. My salad was frozen! Fries were not fresh. Ribs used to be great. Not anymore. Service was good.

Well you'll be going in the right direction. This barbecue place took me off guard. It's well-designed with plenty of room for people to sit both indoors and outdoors. The menu is very nice, with so many options. The lady at the front counter helped me pick a most magnificent feast. ‍ I was very impressed with the brisket. The mac and cheese was okay, but it got better as I ate it. The roasted Brussels sprouts also took me off guard; I really enjoyed them. And of course, on Saturdays, they have Texas Twinkies--you cannot beat that deal! It is so delicious. I cannot wait until I get a chance to come back here again, hopefully during work hours. The parking lot was not even half filled. Prior to today, I never realized there was paved parking. Of the ten spaces, less than half were taken. The pricing structure had changed. Unlike my last visit, there was no additional cost for the Street Corn. The one meat plate was still priced at $24. A benefit for customers preferring the "premium" sides over the regular-priced ones. Unfortunately, the quality of their meat has also changed. The brisket had large sections of marble. While I enjoyed the baked beans and corn, I came here for the brisket not for the sides. While waiting to order, I noticed their breakfast menu was displayed on a stand by the serving counter. A third, but positive, change.

We were meeting some friends for a late lunch and needed somewhere in the area and decided to give this place a shot, When we walked in (2:00 on a Tuesday) we were the only ones there. We were happily greeted and invited to take our time deciding. I had the sliced brisket sandwich & hubby had the Lil JJ's sandwich which was chopped brisket & sausage - plus an order of fries. My brisket sandwich was PACKED with juicy, perfectly cooked slices - hubby's was overflowing with meat - he says it was the best sandwich he's had in a long time! The sauce is available in little containers in the dining room & was slightly sweet (I used TWO on my sandwich because it was so good). Even the buns got some love with a little buttery toasting. Our friends got combo plates with 1/2 chicken, brisket, sausage, & turkey with sides of beans & potatoe salad and they were very impressed as well. THIS place contends with the best of them! One thing we noted is that some places grill one meat well, but the rest are just okay. For example, good ribs and so-so brisket. That's not the case here! Everything we tried was incredibly tender! It's still tender despite warming it up the next day! There are ample sides. We tried macaroni and cheese and fried okra. Both were good. There was ample seating, extra parking, and the staff made us feel like we were in a family member's backyard. They were friendly and helpful. Please try Lil JJ's!

Great service! Then when I was leaving, I said another thank you, and a young lady asked me if I wanted a tour of the smokers and kitchen! So cool! She, Kamy, turned out to be one of the owners. Had a great tour, met the pit boss, and when I told her how much I enjoyed the ribs, she said they make their own rub, and would I like a sample to take home?
