I didn't have super high expectations for Texas Roadhouse since my friends didn't rate it highly on Beli, but wow, I was pleasantly surprised! I don't know much about steak but the ribeye steak was absolutely delicious - perfectly cooked to medium rare - and the ribs were great too, though I preferred the steak. The Cactus Blossom ($8.99) was an awesome appetizer to share, and it paired so well with their Cajun sauce. The portion sizes here are no joke. My friend and I shared the Ribeye 12oz & Ribs combo ($32.99), and we were absolutely stuffed. We chose fries and mashed potatoes for sides, and both were really tasty. I also finally understood the hype around their bread rolls with cinnamon dip - my housemate had raved about them, and I totally get it now. The staff was generous enough to give us another basket to take home. All in all, I loved Texas Roadhouse and would give it a solid 5 stars. Great food, generous portions, and awesome service!

Your standard Texas Roadhouse experience! Soft buttery rolls and savory meats are ready if you're prepared to wait for an average of 1 hr+ Setting: Wooden interior, booth style seating and very much a chain restaurant. Service: Always amazing! Kind waitstaff who are welcoming and prepared to help you with your order. But! Long wait times are frequent at this spot. Food: The rolls are soo soft and pillowy! The various menu options are fantastic as well for the price. Overall a great value!

I recently read an article saying that Gen Z is reviving chain restaurants. As a millennial, I feel that I am also helping with the revival! We love to drive over to Ithaca on a Friday night after a long work week. We typically use the waitlist feature in the app and don't have to wait more than 15 minutes on average. Everyone that works at this location is super friendly and knowledgeable, that was especially true of our server named Maddy. I had the Dallas filet with mushrooms and steak fries. The steak was cooked perfectly and the gravy on the side is delicious and rich. My husband was pleased with his ribeye and loaded baked potato. We both got a salad to start and the lettuce is always ice cold! Even the Coca Cola is crispy! The decor is cowboy/Texas themed and they play [very loud] country music. Overall, a great experience!

First time at a Texas Roadhouse, and I was pleasantly surprised! Their famous signature house rolls were warm, incredibly soft, and so chewy! The texture stood out to me more than the flavors. The cinnamon butter was mild and could use more cinnamon in my opinion. The bread itself wasn't super flavorful, but I would still recommend. My friends and I got a full slab of ribs with sides of chili and fresh vegetables. The ribs fell off the bone and were not dry at all. Good bbq flavor too! The vegetables were ok, pretty much what you would expect. Chili was mostly liquid which was a bit disappointing. Overall, I enjoyed my experience, and the server was very friendly, attentive, and even split out bills separately.

TLDR; Awesome place, awesome steaks, awesome servers! I have been to this Texas Roadhouse twice now and genuinely loved my both my experiences! First off, huge shoutout to our server Danny! She is such a sweetheart in every way. She knew what I wanted before I even asked. I forgot to mention something when ordering and after she went around the table, she came back to me to ask about what I forgot! I just love that. Super attentive, super friendly and super helpful. Now, onto the food. On my first visit I got a burger and on my second, a prime ribeye steak. Both were cooked perfectly, extremely tender and tasteful. Side note, fries are unexpectedly out of this world. Ambiance is on par with any Texas Roadhouse anywhere, with the traditional wooden inspired decor and bench seating. I usually try to avoid chain sit down restaurant, but my mindset on chain restaurants completely changed.

i had never gone to a texas roadhouse until this experience and i now understand the hype. SUPER friendly service!!! the complementary rolls were to DIE FOR. fast service and the food was so good for how cheap everything was. and they gave us free peanuts??? also bumping fun country music. could not go wrong here for a fun, easy-going, and cheap dining experience. i just wish there were some vegan options ...

Leftovers. Bone-In Ribeye*, Sweet Potato. Sauteed Mushrooms and Sauteed Onions are a must.

I usually don't give chains more than three stars but THIS PLACE SLAPS EVERYTIME. They make amazing steaks (I recommend the bone-in ribeye). My bae and I came here half an hour before closing and they took us in, and didn't compromise on the service. Come here for good food and country music in the background and you won't be disappointed.

Love the ribs! It really is off the bone tender. Get it with extra BBQ sauce. I really enjoyed the side of rice and green beans that came with it. Also tried the grilled chicken, very tender and flavorful as well. What a great place for a family dinner!

I believe this is my favorite bar in all of the city of Ithaca. I feel like the more times I visit…read morethe more love I have for this place. This bar is unassuming from the exterior (front side). It fits right in with other brick turn of the century historic buildings within the fabric of the city. If you blink you might miss it. The entrance is a well lit trek down a back alley. Inside the place seems just the right size. It's comfortable. the elements and woodwork are charming. There are plenty of tables and the acoustics are just right so it's not too loud even with a full house. There is a pool table and more than one "real" dart board. Not one of those weak electronic ones. There are stacks of board games that you often see people on a back table playing. The decorations are great including old memorabilia from nostalgic Ithaca bars including the stained glass from Mcawbers and the original carved wooden tables from the old chapter house. Those bars had great history which has now been incorporated into something new which I really appreciate. The outdoor space in back has an overlooking covered porch covered with vines. The back yard is surprisingly large with picnic style tables that can easily fit a group of ten each no problem. When I was there recently there were at least 50 people accommodated in the rear yard space. There are gardens that are fairly well maintained and murals painted on the walls. Extra special is that the surrounding buildings and space look good too. Nowhere you look fo you see a big eyesore. (Like a parking lot or bright street lights) The drinks are good and the variety of people frequenting are fabulous to converse with. I would love to see people dancing and some live music out back on the weekends. These are really good musicians just sitting around reading books for gods sake. I would suggest starting with an open mike night. Live music here would bring it over the top. Super fun !!! I'll for sure be back on my next Ithaca adventure. Hope to meet you all there soon.

What a s*^%%# little bar…read more I came here at the recommendation of a local, but these folks are running game on drunk kids late at night. I ordered a double tanqueray and tonic and watched the guy pour the drink. Poorly. (Pun intended) He put the tonic gun on full blast and dribbled tonic into the glass. The bottle stopper was closed, so he had to finger it open as he continued to blast tonic into the glass. I could tell the drink was mostly tonic and said, "Hey friend, that's not a double!" He looked offended and swore it was because they don't use anything to measure their tonic, they just rely on the bottle dribbling out the so-called proper amount. I should have walked away before he sat it in front of me. I took one sip and surprise-surprise, it's basically just tonic water with a touch of a tanqueray. This was my first drink of the night, and I know it's wrong, but neither the guy nor the girl behind the bar were interested in making it properly. Pour out two shots. It's not that hard. But if you're purposefully pouring short booze to drunk people knowing you'll get away with it, it IS too hard. Don't come here. I know at least one local likes it, but nobody likes being charged double for a single anything. Or maybe the play here is to just order stuff in bottles. That way they can't cheat you out of liquor I paid $14 for a glass of tonic and MAYBE a shot of tanqueray. MAYBE. I feel like I paid $14 for the privilege of writing a crappy review. I absolutely got my money's worth.

The menu itself is short and focused, while the interior of the restaurant features wallpaper with anthropomorphic animals, and large windows. I opted for the Burger, and my wife the Salmon. We also ordered the grilled dates and collard greens. I also decided on a Ginger Beer. They serve Goslings (since 1806), with all 47 grams of sugar, over ice and a lime. Highly recommended on the ginger beer flavor scale. The Burger came with a massive amount of their duck-fat fried fries, certainly more potato than burger. I also liked the burger with the added bacon. But my wife's Salmon was even tastier. It featured a nice hunk of fish, skin-on, crispy, and not some half-or-quarter fillet that other places might serve. Plus, it comes over a bed of green peas and canneli beans and green asparagus sauce on the bottom, and a small bed of frisée on top. The combination with the lemon cream leads to very satisfying bites. The grilled dates wrapped in bacon, with goat cheese, Marcona almonds, and honey were presented as a drumstick. The collard greens were nice, though on the saltier side. Seating here can be had inside or out. The bathrooms are located in the hallway next to the restaurant.
