This is one of my favorite places to come for good food, good vibes, and good beers. I'm a little indecisive so I always get a flight to try a few because they have a large list to choose from and you can try 4 with their flights. We went a little after they opened and it was a great time because it wasn't too busy. Any time I drive by the parking lot is full. They have parking in the front and around the right side of the building. I tried the Meier's Creek Choccy Milk, Other Half BA 10X Bananaversary, TALEA Beer Hibiscus Splash, and Allagash Allagash White and I enjoyed all of them. The bathrooms were clean and easy to find and I can't wait to go back in the spring/summer to check out their outside seating because they have about 15 tables. They also host a game night and have live music. Definitely a hotspot in the Ithaca area. read more

I stopped by Brewer's the other day, a place I hadn't been in years, and it was a pleasure to see how they've evolved since their debut. The food menu is now several pages long, including tried-and-true favorites (many gourmet burger varieties, chicken sandwiches (with a Nashville Hot style option), nachos, wings, and salads . . . plus more intriguing fare like kimchi tater tots, a tuna poke bowl, and pork belly burnt ends. The inside has a gorgeous polished wooden bar in the middle for socializing; and while the inside can get crowded at peak times, keep in mind there's an enormous beer garden out back with about 15 picnic tables. And with a well-curated selection of two dozen beers on draft, you're sure to find something you like. But here's the amazing part about my visit: despite it being a weekend evening at the height of the dinner rush, our food came out in less than 10 minutes. And it was SO YUMMY. So keep in mind that, even if the parking lot looks full, there's almost always plenty of room out back. The two folks on the wait staff we interacted with were super nice, down to earth, and did a great job. The ordering process is a little confusing at first if you haven't been there, but the staff members was really helpful at walking us through it. Bottom line: Brewer's is the kind of neighborhood joint that's all too rare in these parts. Highly recommend! read more

We ordered dinner in to relax at the Airbnb and take in the mountain view. The food was packed well and arrived warm. The chicken eggrolls had a bit of spice but weren't overwhelming. Both chicken sandwiches were excellent, featuring large chicken breasts, and the fries reminded us of Five Guys. The sauces, especially the fry sauce, were great additions. The cheesecake eggrolls were a hit both that night and the next day. The only letdown was the chocolate sauce--it tasted like straight-from-the-bottle and could use a little something extra. read more

This is the place I bring people to for a chill vibe. The food is not astounding, but I appreciate the down to earth feel of the whole place. Fantastic setting for a birthday bash! Brewer's hosted our party of 30+ people and offered up exemplary customer service and delicious food! Some restaurants in the area were not pleasant to even obtain pricing. Brewer's answered the phone and they were wonderful from our initial conversation, right up until the last few moments of our night there. We ordered Tier 2 - five appetizers and two entrees. Our appetizers were Caprese Salad, Charcuterie Board, Veggie Board, Spinach & Artichoke Dip and Poutine. All were freshly prepared presented in a timely manner. Our entrees were the brisket and the salmon. The brisket was smoked for four hours and was the best brisket many of us had ever had. The salmon was cooked to perfection and delicious. We would definitely host another party at Brewer's and now we have a go-to place for when we are in the area for a family meal. Loved our experience here! read more

I've been to Brewer's at least three times and each time has been great! I've always found something new and delicious on tap and the food is just as great! The service is good. The only drawback for me is that it can get a little loud on a Friday night. I had to yell for my friend to hear me. I'd definitely go back. We were looking for a lunch spot on our way to taughanock falls. I found this little gem on yelp. It's a small place but the service and food was excellent! I had the ahi tuna appetizer as my meal and it was plenty! My husband had the grilled chicken sandwich and it was moist and REALLY good. I'm not a Coleslaw girl but I tasted my husband's and it was delicious! The service was excellent and the food came out quickly. Lots of local folks there catching up...really nice vibe. The beer menu is killer! Being a beer snob they have a great lineup of beers, they have the very good brewery beers, ( equilibrium, beer tree, foam, other half). Brewer's has always had a terrific selection of beverages, but their food was so-so in the beginning. That is definitely not the case anymore, as they now have some of the best burgers, sandwiches and wings in the county (several counties, actually)! Staff are terrific, and the dining area is always clean and neat. It gets a little noisy when it's crowded so it's best to avoid those times if that bothers you. One of my favorite spots! read more

We have been dying to check it out and finally had a chance to go this morning for breakfast. They did an awesome job transforming the former dress shop into a cafe and taproom. The bar top is amazing, hand carved wood. Lots of seating and well thought out decor. Breakfast was great; I had an egg and cheese sandwich on a croissant (she was kind enough to let me swap the Swiss for cheddar) and he had an egg, ham and Swiss bagel sandwich and a medium roast coffee he really liked. The bagels weren't ithaca bakery, but nice and crispy on the outside. My husband said these bagels were better for a sandwich because Ithaca bagels are too doughy.
