FYI Texas Roadhouse's home state is Kentucky, as the company was founded by Louisville native Kent Taylor and is currently headquartered in Louisville, although the first restaurant was opened in Clarksville, Indiana. While the company's roots are in Kentucky, it pays homage to the state of Texas through its Texas-style branding. Roadhouse doesn't have baked beans. I asked our waitress why, she said alot of people ask the same thing. I'm thinking a Texas based restaurant would have baked beans. That when I fine out the Roadhouse is not based in Texas. Go figure. The first Roadhouse was in Indiana, go figure again. Food is good but the music is always too loud. When we go out to eat I go for a quiet peacefully dinner! It's been awhile since the last visit here and we got there early, 4:30 LOL which turned out to be a blessing because when we left they was swamped. Our waitress, bless her heart must have been so preoccupied with her phone or friends because she rarely came to check on us. Forgetting a request for rolls twice and also forgetting peanuts four times. We never got those by the way. We noticed all the waitresses in our area kept coming to their tables. The food was okay, something is off though. Maybe the way it was cooked or seasoning. The steak just didn't taste like they use to. We always enjoy Texas Roadhouse, and last night was no exception. The rolls are addictive! The steaks are amazing and don't cost an arm and a leg! We got the fried pickles for our appetizer-yum! I got the 6 oz sirloin and the fall-off-the-bones, bbq ribs with a Caesar salad and loaded baked potato. I ate plenty and had leftovers for the next day. My husband got the 12 oz ribeye with shrimp, Caesar salad, and corn. He also had leftovers. It was a very busy Saturday night, but our waitress was very friendly and attentive and knowledgeable! I will say that "shrinkflation" was kinda noticeable, only because we go fairly often. The baked potato was smaller, the salads were a little smaller with fewer croutons, there were fewer fried pickles, and they served 4 rolls at a time instead of the usual 6-8. Don't get me wrong, it was still a great value. We got all of the above mentioned food, a cocktail with top shelf liquor and a margarita with Sangria added for about $83. My wife and I were ignored and even the young manager was just chilling. We got our own refills and had to ask for everything. This trip was on point. I and the grandson took my wife, his GiGi out for an early Valentine's Day dinner. We were seated right away and got prompt service. Everything was nic and got and cooked to perfection. Our grandson had the steak bites and mashed taters and gravy. My wife had the sirloin and ribs with baked sweet potato. The ribs were so tender they fell off the bone. I had the ribeye and baked potato. Ribeye was cooked perfectly. Tender and juicy and just melted in your mouth and the flavor was to die for. So Texas Roadhouse is the newest place to eat in Denham now. There is not a time I pass that the parking lot isn't packed. I decided to try on a Thursday night and it was no different. It was packed. I was a party of one. I walked in and was asked if I mind being seated at the bar. I was ok with it. I was seated and the bar had a good bit of people there too. I was asked if I wanted a drink. I inquired about the margaritas. I was told that they were pre made..... I was not impressed with that at all! I opted for a strawberry margarita on the rocks sugar no salt. I was offered some hot bread but I ate it out the basket because the saucer had something on it. I ordered the 10oz ribeye and shrimp combo. I asked for it to be cooked medium well. It was served to me well done but I didn't say anything because they were pretty busy. I asked for extra seasoning on the steak too. For the sides I had a baked potato and green beans. After eating the steak and shrimp I was too full for the sides. All an all it's ok! It's not bad but nothing to rave about either read more

I thought that might have been the case here as well, as they had lots of people waiting for tables. I walked in and asked how long of a wait for a table for 2. They said we can seat you now. I hurried back outside, grabbed the wife, and were seated at a small, but sufficient table for 2. Almost immediately, our waitress was placing rolls and cinnamon butter on the table. She took our drink order and that arrived within minutes. We opted for the Blooming Onion as out appetizer. This was large enough to be a meal all by itself. Seeing this, we decided to split a burger. Smart move. We were both full by the time we finished eating. My wife has to have her burger well done, where I like mine a good medium. We ate here today. Very very disappointing as usual. First of all you asked the girl where are we on the lineup to be taken to a table "oh you are next" then they proceed to seat two parties before us. You ask her why and she says oh we are going to "sat" you next." we get a waiter who doesn't come for the first 15 minutes. By the time he comes and takes our order for our drinks, we are ready to order our food too. Then when he brings the food out, he put sit down on the end of the booth and takes off. I thought there was an emergency or something. I look up and he's gone in a flash. We order a steak and a baked potato, and for our other side, we ordered chili, no onion. Instead of packing it all up in individual containers, he took it upon himself to mix the chili, the cheese and you guessed it, onion all together. I got a to-go order after a very long shift at work on the way home. Was really craving a ribeye. I got home and the steak is not medium well. The center was actually still a little cold. My husband had to put it on the stove to cook it a little longer. I'm already at home, no sense in going back up to the restaurant for them to put it back on the grill for a few minutes. I called and let one of the to-go employees know that I was disappointed and was apologized to and told to have a nice night. So I get that they have only been open a week and I'm not going to not go back, but I don't recommend placing a to-go order here. Otherwise, Texas Roadhouse is one of my fav places to go. Where to begin? Perhaps I will start with the fact that our lovely waitress seemed to disappear into the void, only visiting our table to bring the food and one drink each. Refills are apparently not to be had in this establishment. When our food came out, two of the meals were missing sides, a medium steak was cooked to the consistency of shoe leather, and another was completely raw, and by some standards, perhaps still alive. Even after returning the raw steak to a manager, we had to wait a further 15 minutes. 15 minutes to cook a paper-thin sirloin. The manager never checked back with us, and we never got the missing sides. By the time we left, half of our five-person party was substantially dehydrated. May I never darken the door of this terrestrial hellscape ever again. read more

I really wanted NO STARS!!! Service was terrible. We had a party of 13 we waited a hour to be seated. The hostess had a terrible way of seating us!!! They sat 7 first and 30 minutes later sat the other 6. We watched a party with about the same amount of people be seated before us at one time DISCRIMINATION!!!! We were there before them!!! My family a party of 12 and I visited this restaurant for my daughters 8yr birthday party this past Friday night. When we arrived at around 7:20 we was told that it would be around a hour wait before we would be able to be seated. While we were waiting another party of about 12-14 came and they had to wait as well. After waiting around 45 minutes I went and asked the greeter how much longer it was going to be before we were seated and she told me that it should be shortly, she also informed me that we would be split up in 2 groups of 7 but we would be seated together. After we was called in to "wait to be seated" which took another 20 minutes, I asked the hostess to make sure we was together well while we was waiting the group that came in after us was seated right in front of us. So after about another 10 minutes the first group of our party was seated! After another 10 minutes we all was seated. The first group got their food and was getting their check when our food finally came out at around 9:30pm. I let our waiter know they it was my daughters birthday and she said ok we are going to let her ride the saddle and sing happy birthday to her neither of the 2 happened! I was very upset with the hostess for how she allowed the group that checked in after us to be seated before us as well as how long it took for us to get our food. When our food finally came out I immediately asked for to-go boxes bc it was getting late and the service was horrible! If I knew our night was going to be spent like this I wouldn't spent my 164$ somewhere else.
