This place came highly recommended by a coworker. When you walk in, it's a fun ambiance, with music and lots of southern decor. My original waiter was really sweet and he was very attentive. I ordered the rib eye steak 8 oz with a side of sweet potato and steak fries. I was rather impressed with the flavors! The only reason I'm giving a 4 star is because at the end of the night, our waiter swapped and this young man with a tattoo on his right arm (I believe) gave us an awful experience. He kept pressuring us to leave, back and forth. Gave us the check without us asking, and we still wanted to order a few more drinks. He huffed and puffed through our added orders and then 30 minutes before closing asked us if we can wrap it up because he apparently couldn't leave unless we did and we were his last table. My daughter and I were in the plaza doing some errands. Instead of Panera (our go to spot) we decided to split something else at Texas Roadhouse. Our server,Bobby came over I gave him our drink order and also asked if he could bring me paper napkins, I do not like the cloth ones that he placed on the table. Horrible, horrible, horrible experience earlier this week. I have always had great times at this particular location. But, last Tuesday was the worst. My party comes in all of the time, and we order multiple drinks, multiple appetizers, and steaks with the fixings all around. This time, we were told at 5pm that there was a 15 minute wait, with half the place empty. Apparently, they are short-handed, which they used as an excuse to try and get us to eat at the bar, instead of a table. We insisted on a table, but went to the bar to have a drink, while we waited. Well, the bartender took our drink order, and then literally left the bar area and walked away to God-knows-where. Another bartender came over about 10 minutes later, and asked us if we were being taken care of. When we gave her our drink order, it was another 10 minutes of waiting, as it seemed like she was putting drink orders in some sort of que. Un-freaking-believable. Then, when we finally got our drinks, we were told that our table was ready. We went to the front desk, and were made to stand in a corner, waiting for another 15 minutes, while the hostesses assisted other people. Honestly? Then why beep us, if your intention is to have us stand in a corner, with drinks in our hands? We finally were seated, I asked if the heat could be turned up, as I was cold. I was told by the server that the kitchen likes it this cold, because they work in the heat. Honestly, I don't care how the kitchen feels. I thought the customer was supposed to come first! One person in our party asked for creamy horseradish for their prime rib, and when the meal came, it was not there. When we asked for it again, instead of an apology, we received excuses from the server. I ordered a 16 ounce steak, cooked medium rare [the server even confirmed this by responded "red-to-hot pink center"], and it came out about 30 minutes later cooked well done. When the manager came over to ask how everything was, I told him about my steak, and he asked if I had cut it into the middle to see if it was cooked well done. Of course I did! He took it back and another steak was brought out another 20 minutes later, which only set the rest of my party back, as they all waited with their meals getting cold on the table. It's sad, because we were all there 5 weeks ago on a weekday, and we had a blast, which is why we returned. But this sudden change of customers last, excuses, and lack of customer service has us already looking for other options, moving forward. This is what will happen when servers start receiving $15 an hour, instead of working for their tips... So sad. read more

Came here to celebrate graduation from my scuba diving certification course. Our server was Nicole L, she was awesome! Very attentive, polite, and a great conversationalist. Food was cooked to perfection and served in a timely manner. They even made an announcement to let the restaurant know I was there celebrating my Scuba cert! After my daughter raved about her visit to the Nashua, Texas roadhouse, we thought we would bring the family. My daughter and wife's meals were good and my son and I each ordered a full slab of ribs. They each came with a smaller section of ribs and a larger section. My first slab, the small one was excellent. My son told me his ribs (the larger slab) was dry and not very good. I soon dug into my larger slab to find it was dry (overcooked). My son's second slab was very good. It seems as though they split a well cooked slab with an overcooked slab. They don't take reservations, but you can call ahead. But this place is still pretty new I guess, and it is further away from Boston than the one in Everett. We arrived around 7pm on a Sunday evening, and were pretty much seated right away. Warm glistening buns and cinnamon butter - yum yum yummy! I got the combo ribeye (10 oz) and ribs, which saved a little over ordering the ribeye and then adding a side of ribs for the same food. For my sides, I selected a plain sweet potato and fresh vegetables. Yes, the plain sweet potato was much better than the sickly sweet loaded version. And the broccoli and baby carrots were still nice and crisp. However, I eyed my dining companions' choices of sides and will seriously consider them for my next visit - the fries were a nice basketful of the spud, while the salad was pretty and topped with a good portion of hard boiled eggs. The dancing wait staff was not nearly as frequent as mentioned by other Yelpers - our waitress said it was about once every 50 minutes or so, and we only witnessed one round of the line dancing, while we heard the announcement of perhaps 3-4 birthdays throughout our dinner. Having new hires taking phone orders who clearly don't like their job and are so careless, big mistake. The kid couldn't get me off the phone fast enough. 2. While we did recieve all 7 meals we ordered, the dressings weren't right or labeled and we didn't recieve any dipping sauces that came with one of the meals. The worst was my prime rib which I ordered medium rare. What I received was well done (see attached photo). I couldn't even eat it. Given my background, I understand meat continues to cook. Definitely a nice place to go to especially with a waitress like Amaya. She's the best we've had and the only reason this place gets four stars is because the very inconsistent. The chicken critters are usually pretty good only when they don't overdo them. The portabella chicken is good but it's dry sometimes. I wish they didn't get rid of the Kraft Mac and cheese because my son loved it now the the other Mac and cheese doesn't look as good. Texas Roadhouse is one chain that is *ALWAYS* extremely busy, always has great service, and nearly always has great food. My favorite thing here, by far, is the bread and cinnamon butter. In the past I have placed numerous orders of simply bread and butter. Service here was just as expected... very prompt, fast, and accurate. The restaurant was cleaned and appeared very well run. I witnessed a manager coming around to numerous tables and making sure everything was correct. Food came out fast and as expected. No complaints by any means. PERFECT VISIT! Only been here one other time since COVID restrictions/rules. So much at the Roadhouse is back to normal including full color menus with giant margaritas calling my name! Called ahead to be put on the waitlist (first time utilizing) and was very pleased when we pulled into the parking lot, texted them and immediately got a response to quickly come inside. You can't beat 3-4 pm on a weekday: more than half the tables were empty (not from lack of business, just the early hour); the plus here is that folks can HEAR each other while they talk. Was seated right away, our friendly waitress Emily got our drink orders and the bread with awesome maple butter quickly and was prompt with checking on us. Saw a recommendation on Yelp for the Dallas filet, what an AWESOME juicy cut of steak, cooked perfect, very tender, smothered with onions and mushrooms. Will order it next time with a side of grilled shrimp. Had the Garden salad and Chili as SIDEs, their garden salad never disappoints. Daughter ordered kids ribs it was her birthday celebration and I got the full slab. The BBQ sauce was tangy and the meat was SO SO salty it was overwhelming to the point that it was not edible to me or my daughter. Mashed potatoes were the best part of the meal other that the rolls and honey butter if that is infact what the butter is. They are also very stingy with the rolls when they take you to the table and don't bring you more unless you give them your first born. At least that is how it seemed..... My daughter ate half of my moms plain chicken breast which happened to be the most "bland" main course. It was not bad but who goes to the Texas Roadhouse for a plain chicken breast? Server didn't care that 75% of my ribs and my daughters remained to inquire if something was wrong. She just wanted to flip the table to get a drinking crowd into our seats in my opinion.
