I attended a soccer event today and Butter "UR" Biscuit was the food provided. It was great they pulled up in their food truck and made the meals by order not pre-made. The taste and flavor of all the food was incredible. All of the food was good but the The Crispy golden brown Empanadas were out of this world. They were jam packed meat and flavor that leaves you lost for words. read more

We hired this food truck for an event based on their reputation, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. They arrived over an hour past the agreed time and didn't actually get set up until just minutes before service was scheduled to begin. We were told the delay was due to a road race, which I understand things happen. What was more concerning was the lack of professionalism in follow-up conversations after the event. There was little acknowledgment of the inconvenience caused, and no real sense of accountability or willingness to make things right. Instead, the tone came across as dismissive, even going so far as to emphasize how successful their business is and how our business as a customer was not needed, which felt inappropriate given the situation. Delays can be understandable, but how a business handles them, especially afterward, is what really matters. Unfortunately, this experience left us feeling undervalued as a client and I could not recommend. read more

I got a classic biscuit at PAX and I thought it was pretty good. The biscuit was a little hard and dry, but not like a brick, I could definitely still bite it. The chicken itself wasn't seasoned at all, but the sriracha aioli saved it - also made it less dry, along with the coleslaw. I don't know if it's $16 worth (not sure if that's just the PAX price or its usually that way. read more

Absolutely amazing food and service. We hired the food truck for my son's college graduation pool party. Everyone raved about how good the food was. I personally loved the Mac and cheese ball appetizer and the Burrito was delicious as well. Service with a smile. On time and fast service. Highly recommend. read more

OH MY GOODNESS. AmazIng!!! Just go try them!!! I got a cheesy biscuit, literally bigger than my HEAD. I didn't even know how to bite, get into this biscuit. AND THAT ITSELF MAKES IT WORTH THE MONEY. The chicken was delicious, seasoned and very moist. The biscuit was hard/crunchy on the outside, but soft and melts in your mouth as you get into it. Omg. It was just so good. I had to eat this in two sittings. Highly recommend this place! Service was super friendly, they kept recommending the most popular items (with reason cause they're wonderful). My boyfriend got the cubano biscuit and he had no complaints! (A first, OPAH!) Got a few of the pastries to try, did not like any of them. Hey. That's fine, savory food made up for it! Totally would go back!!! read more

Delicious food, great customer service! First time here with friends. Nick was super helpful and friendly, gave me some good recommendations. I went with a pulled pork on biscuit with aioli on the side. Also had to try out the fresh mini cinnamon buns which were sooo good. The biscuits were soft and didn't fall apart when I ate my sandwich - which is rare with a biscuit sandwich haha. Pork was very tasty. Nick, our host, was friendly and even gave us a little jam for our extra biscuit pieces. I also won a giftcard since it was my first time there and got to spin the wheel of prizes. Highly recommend and I'll be back for the chicken and waffles. read more

Wow! Their food was amazing. Free parking on the side street near the train. Nick, the person who took our order and checked us out, was so friendly and helpful when we were ordering. It was our first time. We brought our two kids and everyone loved the food. We ordered the cheesy bird, and several bacon, egg, and cheese on biscuits. They made scrambled egg as an option on the biscuits which my kids loved. My husband loved the chicken on the cheesy bird. They set up a giveaway wheel next to the register that you can spin when you're about to pay. We won 10% off our bill. While waiting for our food, Nick came over with a homemade rice Krispy treat on the house for the kids. The food, customer service, and restaurant were off the charts for us. We can't wait to go back again. Hidden gem! read more

Butter Ur Biscuit - Holiday decor. - Caterers Near Me - Beverly, Massachusetts

Well.... Fuck. My wife and I finally tried Butter "UR" Biscuit, and to say that it exceeded expectations would be a gross understatement. My wife and I grew up and have lived in the Midwest and South for years, and we have had our fair share of disappointing southern comfort food in New England. This was NOT the case this morning. We ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese on a biscuit, the friend chicken and waffle wrap/sandwich, a lemon raspberry biscuit, and a freshly made cinnamon bun. Everything is made fresh to order, so we had some time to chat with one of the owners while we waited for our cinnamon roll to be iced. Dwayne is such a great guy. He and his wife Julissa opened their brick and morter back in October after their huge success with the truck, and have been absolutely CRUSHING it - and rightful so. This food was phenomenal. I honestly would have never thought that coleslaw was a missing ingredient for a chicken and waffle dish. This was definitely a star of our breakfast (as chicken and waffles should be)! The cool crunch and sweet corn salsa really brightened it up. The biscuit for the sandwich was tender, flaky, and moist. I'd have no problem eating that plain, or with some apple butter, or with some sausage gravely poured over it. The pastries deserve their own mention. I was hesitant when I had seen pastries on the menu online - it's a latin soul food place after all - but as soon as we walked in, we were floored by the smell of the cinnamon rolls baking in the oven. It was extremely moist and fluffy; full of rich cinnamon sugar flavor, with a hefty dollop of icing on top. We'll both be dreaming about this place for a while, and there's no question we'll be back soon. So thrilled to have such a gem here in Beverly. read more

Came here for a late lunch on a Sat afternoon. Ordered chicken and waffle, porky biscuit, and chicken empanada. We had wanted to get the beef empanada, but they were out of beef. Ditto on the sweet tea. We just got bottled water. The food took a while for the food to come out. I think there was one person working the counter, and one person doing all the cooking. The restaurant has bar stools seating along along the window and two tables that sits two people. The food was fresh and good quality, and sizable portion as well. Chicken and waffles 9/10, porky biscuit 7/10, and chicken empanada 5/10. I would get the chicken and waffle again. The porky biscuit was good in small doses. Plus, the sauce turned the biscuit into mush, which was textually in pleasing for me. The biscuit itself is very tasty. I would consider getting just a plain biscuit, but at $5 each, it is a bit on the pricey side. read more

I was a huge fan of the food truck and was excited to see them open a brick and mortar store in downtown Beverly. I recommend calling ahead with your order as I walked in when I saw the billboard on the street and it was a bit of a wait as they're making your order fresh. I saw several people walk in and pick up and was like hmm, that's what I'll do next time. The menu is great. Much bigger than what they offered any given day on the food truck. Loads of chicken dishes. I found it very hard to decide! The store is nice and not a bad place to wait. I ended getting a quesadilla. Amazing, and so tasty. Just huge. That would have been enough to fill two of us up! Also, I tried the chicken sandwich. Another really delicious and huge meal. The chicken was cooked perfectly. We ended up eating two full meals out of the food we picked up. Parking is on the street but seemed plentiful. Prices are so good for the quality and quantity. I hope they succeed in this location as they truly do serve awesome and unique food. read more

Had Butter Ur Biscuit during the PAX East event and I must say that I was highly disappointed. I ordered the Winner Winner meal that came with 2 Chicken Tenders, Mac & Cheese, and a "Warm Biscuit." I put this in quotes because 1. The Biscuit was not warm at all and very dry. Also their sign said Warm Biscuit but did not specify it was half a Biscuit. Very misleading. The Cookie dough scoop of Mac & Cheese was also ice cold and clearly was next to the cole slaw cause it had some of that taste to it. The Chicken was also dry but at least 1 of the 2 tenders was at least Warm. For $20 this was a rip-off. I understand it is a very large event with a lot of patrons, but when the other food trucks are pumping out great quality and quick service, you have to step up your game. Highly disappointed need to be better. read more

I'd sooner prepare a biscuit made with bisquick than return here. Yuck.. It was too heavy, a big glob of sadness. The chicken tasted odd as well. I'm giving it two stars because I didn't vomit, and the music was fabulous. Just wanted a real biscuit like I get down south. read more

Drove up from Gloucester to see if the food tastes as good as it looks online and the answer is YES! What's better than fried chicken on a REAL home-style biscuit? Mac & Cheese balls were delicious. Service A+. Ate on the tables outside on a beautiful day. I think the hours are incorrect on your website (i.e. Sunday). read more

Delicious - I was driving down the street to another bakery when I saw this fabulous sign and food truck. So, so glad I stopped here. The owners were amazing, welcoming and efficient. The biscuits were superb - all 4 I tried. They are also huge and shared them. I also got pulled pork and rice for another day. Lovely flavors that were delicious. Will step anytime I am near. My biscuit was dry. Flavorful, but dry. Maybe it was a bad day, given all these glowing reviews, so I will be back to try again. Also, didn't think their chicken is nearly as good as Flip The Bird, who they must compete directly with. The guys working there were so nice, so I feel terrible saying so. Definitely will return for another visit. read more

I ordered from the food truck at PAX. I got tenders, mac and cheese, and a biscuit. The tenders had no flavor and were screaming for any kind of seasoning. The biscuit was DRY and hard. The biscuit felt like I was chewing a rock. The mac and cheese tasted like it was cooked days beforehand and was inedible. The food came with a sauce that actually tasted really good and helped make the tenders and biscuit somewhat edible. I understand it was a convention, and the quality will drop a little due to that. But this was one of the worst meals I've ever attempted to eat and ended up tossing in the trash. read more

This place is absolutely amazing! The staff there are fun and super friendly and the food portions are large! First time at the storefront in Beverly- order empanadas (chicken and had to try beef ones too); pulled pork sammy; and their desserty giant biscuit with honey lemon butter. Empanadas were delicious- the oil they use to fry is almost sweet and savory. The beef filling is ground with pepper- more sweet and savory. The sammy while delicious was personally too rich for me- the biscuit buns were enormous rich with butter- for me it was too rich for a Sammy but that's just preference all the components (pork, slaw, aioli) were tasty together. The honey lemon butter was delicious I just found it to be too much butter for me. Overall please make a point to try this place - lots of love and talent in their food. It is super filling so bring your Hunger!! read more

Super nice owners make awesome food. The biscuits have a bit of an aftertaste that I didn't love but I will go back for more.

Amazing food and equally amazing staff. We were greeted immediately by a friendly staff who was excited that it was our first visit. The menu has something for everyone. We ordered our food and sat down. All of the food is made in house; the desserts, the biscuits... everything. I ordered the avocado+egg+cheese biscuit. It was huge. The biscuit was buttery and flaky, fluffy fresh egg cooked perfectly, and smooth avocado with real cheese. We also tried the lemon bar, it was heavenly. During our meal, we were checked on repeatedly by staff AND the owner. I will always make it back here if I'm in Ma. read more

Great quality cheap eats. Wish the atmosphere matched the food (counter service) but we were there for the biscuits. Ordered 2 egg, cheese biscuits one with ham, the other with house made sausage (eggs sunny side and oozing). - both were delicious. Wow, incredible! First time tonight, we did a sampling, pulled pork on a biscuit, fried chicken tenders, beef empanadas etc. I can't dive into all the technical details but I am currently having an 'experience'...i wish i had the belly for everything we got! Kudos to the supply chain and driver for getting it all to us at peak temp. As an example, the pastry on the empanadas was pressed and crisped to perfection and the beef inside cooked perfectly. I'm not fully prepared to talk about the pulled pork on the giant biscuit with the slaw, just unreal. The pork had the soft savory bits and the sweet chewy caramelized bits, delicious. My only regret is that tonight was the first time ordering from here. Wow, i'm gonna have to recover from this. read more
