Uncommon Feasts Cafe is my new food obsession. I've visited 4 times in the past month for lunch and can't wait to try dinner soon. I have no criticisms at all. The food is delicious, well priced, and sourced from local farms and producers. The staff is kind, professional and friendly. The space is light, airy and comfortable. My kids LOVE the ping pong table and the food. We have sampled the lemonade (with orange blossom water!), the falafel plate, the Croque l'autumne, ham & brie and many of their sweets. It's all been delightful. I dream of the crunchy little falafel with warm, soft pita fairly regularly. The croque is gooey with cheese and sweet squash. Housemade nougat is a delicious treat. We just can't wait for an excuse to come back again and again! read more

Located within the historic Lydia Pinkham building, Uncommon Feasts is an uncommon space in Lynn. Airy and open, industrial chic, with long tables to encourage conversation, the space is a unique spot coupled with thoughtfully prepared food and coffee making for a nice addition to the neighborhood. We stopped into Uncommon Feasts for lunch and found parking on a side street. Walking into the building, one must navigate down a few hallways until you pass a working prep kitchen into an open seating area. There are quite a few long tables, couches, shelves with fresh jams and other kitchen goods, and a ping pong table. The menu was written on a sheet of construction paper reflecting changing, daily specials. One orders at a window peering into the kitchen with staff hard at work preparing meals and supporting an impressive catering operation. Fresh coffee and tea were available as was an inviting dessert charcuterie of truffles, figs, and other sweets. We enjoyed our brunch - especially the salmon, cream cheese, and arugula on a One Mighty Mill Bagel and less for the tortilla plate (fried egg, kale, squash, red onion on a tortilla). The weekend brunch menu had a nice mix of vegetarian and non-veg options and we look forward to returning for dinner. Staff was very friendly and hospitable. There is no table service at lunch (unclear if this is the case at dinner). Uncommon Feasts is a nice spot to grab coffee, read a design magazine in a cool, industrial space, and show off Lynn's uncommon spaces to visiting friends. read more

Working with Uncommon Feasts was a pleasure from start to finish! Michelle worked with us to develop a custom menu for our wedding, and we could not have been more thrilled. After having dinner at her restaurant, we were happy to hand over the reigns and let Michelle have creative freedom. We knew that we wanted the food and drink to be memorable at our wedding, and Michelle and the team delivered on that in so many ways. Their team primarily coordinated with our wedding planner, which we'd definitely recommend. They sorted out all the details from pacing, to glassware, to where to take the trash at the end of the night. Overall the menu was incredible, the food and displays were beautiful, the staff were so friendly and knowledgeable, and they made our wedding day a breeze! read more

The restaurant looks nice and the design is very inspiring, but the service wasn't good at all and the food portion wasn't satisfactory. For the amount of money they charged I expected way more. We found insects in the cups and the plates weren't very clean. I asked the the waitress about the menu and she was rude answering that " we have wherever you see on the menu". The staff was unpleasant and rude. They had half of the menu unavailable to order. They didn't have any kid's menu, so we ordered a grill cheese for our son and it came burned! I had to grab napkins and silverware for us because they forgot to bring them to our table. We paid 70 dollars total for something that was worth maybe 20,00 dollars maximum. Once we left i had to get two hamburgers because i was hungry. I definitely recommend them to pay more attention on the service and food instead of the restaurant's appearance. I rather order domino's than their food. read more

My husband and I live nearby and decided to try it pre-Covid. We both very much enjoyed our breakfasts then. During and after the lockdown we tried them a few more times but really found the staff (owner?) unpleasant and eventually stopped ordering. I think they have certain regulars and we did not fall into their hipster category. Well my husband wanted to try their fried mussels the other night since we haven't had them in a while and he got violently sick throughout the night. He didn't even want to tell the owner because of how unpleasant she has been in the past. Also, their hours are impossible to keep up with and change way too often. read more

Their website says open at 11, Went with 2 friends the driver had to go to an appointment so needed to sit down for food within the hour get there and greeted to a locked door with the sign still saying open at 11; One of the Kitchen workers basically rudely kicked us out saying "We're not open till 12!" There was no sign posted on the door to signify that there would be a change of normal business hours. UN-PRO-FESSIONAL! read more

Is this place for real? I ordered the tarte flambée of bacon + spring onion pizza and it was barely 9 inches around and looked nothing like it does on the website, for $15, insane, I can get a better pizza for the same price in the North End. They should be embarrassed serving this. read more

Stopped in here after a friends referral. The store is all local ingredients, and also has a full restaurant to sit at. We ordered the pretzel brat and BLT. The potato salad that came with the Brat was the best potato salad we have ever had in our life. We'll be back in again to feed our new potato salad addiction. read more

This is truly a gem of a spot! The small plates were all different in their own right, but we found there was a common citrus theme throughout each dish. Super fitting for the season! The menu changes often, so don't go expecting the exact same items on that I talk about here. We arrived with our reservation name handwritten on our table, and had some time to take in the great decor and ambiance! The lovely waiter Nico took our coats, which made us feel extra fancy. We started with on-the-house marinated olives (delicious, marinated in a citrus oil), and still water (though sparkling was offered). The drink and food menus were handwritten, which is always a thoughtful, appreciated touch. For wine I ordered a Falanghina to start, and a Braucol, both recommendations from Nico to pair with what we ordered. For the table (of two) we ordered: Smoked bluefish pate with house chips spring white asparagus with shiitake and serrano ham Mushroom, fennel, artichoke fritto misto (served with lemon) chicken and apple brandy mouse (served on toast) pomegranate braised lamb (served as a sandwich) The dishes were coursed out nicely, and Nico was very attentive to us. We treated ourselves to a dessert platter, which was very yummy as well! A ripe plum, turkish delights, and a few other treats. My friend and I ended up staying for almost three hours. We never felt rushed, and really loved the vibe. Overall, this was a terrific evening, and we can't wait to come back! I've already told many friends about this little gem. The only downside is that it's not located closer to me... a relocation to Beverly might be in order! read more

A couple of weeks ago three of us visited for lunch. It was to go service at that time but there was a communal table you could eat at. We tried a couple sandwiches and side dishes and loved everything. I'm still hoping to try brunch sometime as I've heard it's amazing! read more

This place is excellent! Tried delivery twice- first time we got the BBQ chicken and shishito peppers pizza (insanely good) and the green bean salad with raspberry vinaigrette (sounds weird, but super flavorful). Today we go the rotisserie chicken which is slow cooked all day and only available after 4p. It was perfectly cooked, juicy and the rub on the skin had a good little kick to it. Also got the tomato confit and parmesan herb spaetzle pasta, which was super fresh and tasty. Of course, got the green bean salad again. Beyond the food, the staff on the phone are very friendly and patient (I always ask a million questions) and have accommodated special requests for my little one. You can also see their whole menu and order delivery on the Toast app. Give them a try- you won't be disappointed! read more

The food is unbelievable, the space is inspired, and the staff are genuinely friendly. An all-around A+ experience whether dining in or getting take-out/delivery. read more

We had an amazing on site dining experience. The staff was warm and welcoming. Very informative, attentive but not intrusive. Intimate atmosphere. Food was fantastic. We had the bacon tarte flambee pizza, house made chips, sweet potatoes soup and skate wing dinner. Each dish was well prepared. The skate wing was above and beyond our expectations. We also brought a couple pieces of cake for dessert. Overall a very great experience. Highly recommended! Thank you to the wonderful team! read more

Very rude staff. No phone manners at all. I would highly suggesting going somewhere else for food. Food is mediocre, as well as the service. Find somewhere where they appreciate your money by treating you kindly. read more

Had this on my list to try for a while and glad I did! Neat building and cool vibe. We got take out but it was very spacious for indoor dining. High quality ingredients and I'm definitely coming back. read more

The menu looked so interesting. So I have a small family so I ordered dinner . Half chicken for me and my son . Ribs for my husband. And some cheese. And home made chips. When I went in to pick up it is beautiful in there. So much to look at. When she took my bag out I expected it to be big and it was so small. Now I spent over 70 dollars so I was a little nervous. Yes the portions were small. But filling we actually were full. We always want to see big large portions but we know we don't need all that food. So I was very happy with our meal. The creamed kale was fantastic. It was really to expensive for me and my family. I may go back and get pickled vegetables or something but I felt like it was a lot for my budget. But if you have the money go for it. I did enjoy it. read more

Absolutely wonderful meal delivered to my home, including cheese and meat board appetizer, salad, steak entree which was huge and I'm so glad we split it, and a bottle of the rhubarb amaro. Everything quality and delicious, we will be ordering again. read more

As soon as you walk in, you know that you're in for a wonderful experience! Delicious food with a menu that changes with the season and an emphasis on local products. A beautiful, relaxing atmosphere. A great spot to try something new or enjoy delicious comfort food. If I could give more stars, I would! My favorite lunch is the falafel with a side of the pickled veggies, plus whatever is on offer for dessert! The nougat is devine but you simply can't make a bad choice from their dessert display! read more

Uncommon Feasts is amazing! I started going there before the pandemic, when they were first serving indoors, and found the place - decor, food and people to be magical. Then I switched to delivery and take-out, not just for their prepared food but also market items like local vegetables and eggs, which I've depended on for months. I love the unusual combinations of local seasonal ingredients and international spices and presentation (Moroccan, Persian, etc.). There's always a creative twist. And the ice creams and desserts are to die for. Last but not least, Michelle is so friendly and appreciative -- the whole team is really. Love the sophisticated yet somehow laid-back vibe with a neighborhood welcome. It's amazing how they've been able to keep pivoting their business model during the crazy year of 2020, yet still keep the quality food, vibe and team intact. Love this place. read more

We just got take away from these guys. the food is excellent and they're taking great care to keep everyone isolated. Go there!

Are here today for the first time. What a beautiful space, with beautiful food! We had a mushroom and Parmesan pizza with arugula pesto, a handmade pasta with hen of the woods and golden tomatoes, and a beet and pistachio crusted burrata composer salad. We ate outdoors on a lovely patio. It was hot, but the restaurant supplied charming parasols. The three of us enjoyed the food immensely. The flavors and textures were all brilliant and satisfying. Afterwards I did some damage in the prepared foods section. House made cheddar beer cheese, a roll of frozen tahini chocolate chip cookie dough, pierogis, spiced nuts, granola and a tin of cockles all went home with me. We cracked open the cockles at dinner time and the toddlers consumed them in a flash and the four year old even said "thank you" which was worth every penny. This place is a treasure, I encourage you to go out and support them! If you don't feel comfortable dining in take some of their amazing groceries and produce. read more

I am writing to sing Michelle Mulford's praises. Michelle and her company, Uncommon Feasts, catered a milestone birthday event in our home last year. Anyone who is fortunate enough to have Michelle cater an affair is in for an incredible treat. Michelle brings such an imaginative creativity to her menus. She clearly loves food, is highly knowledgeable about local sourcing, and as she involves you in the menu planning, such an excitement gets generated, that it becomes hard to wait for the actual event. Every minute detail is thought of, from inspired menus, to unusual flower arrangements, to meeting the individual tastes of her clients , to her very professional staff . Michelle has a unique gift in that she really listens to her client's requests and she is so experienced that her recommendations are always on target. Even her wine expert rounds out a sumptuously 'Uncommon Feast' with just the perfect wine pairings. My event flowed effortlessly, with every detail carefully thought out, all with the ease and elegance of the French country outdoor celebration I had envisioned. Michelle's presentation is a tableau satisfying all of one's senses. Michelle effortlessly generates her love of food into a beautiful feast and this coupled with her wonderful aesthetic sensibility, makes special events glow in memories long after the event. My husband and I can't recommend Michelle highly enough. Helen and Bob read more
