Legitimately the nicest people ever. Service was so friendly, charming, helpful - great group of people working here. Their food matches the service too! Ordered the lamb with orzo, zucchini chips & chicken gyro. The portion size was hefty (good thing, so we could share!) and the quality of ingredients was clearly fresh. Wine was quite generic, but had to have a glass with the lamb. Restaurant is spacious, good spot for groups. I recommend making a reservation because the tables and bar seating get snagged very quickly. They also have takeout available. And there is a parking lot.

Restaurant Review: Kouzina Greek Restaurant 134 Newbury St, Peabody, MA 01960 Kouzina is a family-owned Greek restaurant on Route 1 that serves food made with love and top-notch ingredients. They even import their olive oil directly from Greece, which adds an authentic touch to every dish. I got a behind-the-scenes look at how some items are made, and it's clear that quality is their priority. Here's my breakdown of the menu: Appetizers Spanakopita Crispy phyllo pastry filled with spinach, herbs, and feta. The portion size was huge--like a slice of pizza! A must-try for anyone who loves Greek classics. 9/10 Kolokithakia (Fried Zucchini Chips) Thinly sliced zucchini chips served with homemade tzatziki sauce. The flavor was fantastic, but I wish they were slightly crispier. 9/10 Greek Fries Freshly cut fries topped with aged feta and oregano. You can't go wrong with fries and cheese--absolutely perfect. 10/10 Oktapodi (Grilled Octopus) Tender grilled octopus served with creamy fava. It was delicious but slightly fatty. If you enjoy octopus, this dish will impress you. 9/10 Saganaki (Flamed Kefalotyri Cheese) A showstopper! This Greek cheese is flamed with ouzo right at your table. The gooey texture and tangy flavor were amazing. My boyfriend even mistook it for bread when I reheated it at home. A must-order. 10/10 Horiatiki (Village Salad) A traditional salad with tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, peppers, barrel-aged feta, and kalamata olives, tossed in olive oil and oregano. Fresh, shareable, and flavorful. 9/10 Entrees Pork Gyro A classic gyro packed with pork, tomato, onion, fries, and tzatziki in a soft pita. They didn't skimp on the tzatziki, which I really appreciated. Absolutely delicious. 10/10 Deluxe Souvlaki Skewers Chicken and pork skewers cooked to juicy perfection. The meat was tender, but I wanted more dipping sauce to pair with it. 9/10 Dessert Galaktobouriko A creamy semolina custard wrapped in flaky pastry and drenched in honey syrup, topped with a cherry sauce. A refreshing alternative to baklava and an absolute must-try. 9/10 Final Thoughts Kouzina is a cozy gem for Greek food lovers. Their dishes are authentic, flavorful, and made with care. During the holiday season, the restaurant is beautifully decorated, adding to the charm. Food: 9/10 Ambiance: 10/10 Affordability: 7/10 (Gyros are a great deal at $13, but some other items are slightly pricier.) If you're craving authentic Greek flavors in a welcoming atmosphere, Kouzina is the perfect spot. Whether you're there for a fiery saganaki or a classic gyro, you won't be disappointed!

Oktapodi

My husband is from Greece and we always struggle to find good Greek restaurants in the states. This place tops them all. The food was delicious and perfect. The staff were kind and attentive. The restaurant was nicely decorated, hints of Greece without being corny or over the top. Overall a great experience.

The food is authentic Greek. Servers were friendly and helpful. This was my second time at this location. Ambiance is relaxing and clean. We had the oktapodi and kolokythokeftedes for apps. The lamb was amazing, and we heard no complaints on the gyro or souvlaki. The dishes were left empty. Fantastic meals.

Amazing food and staff. My favorites are the spanakopita and chicken souvlaki plate. Both are delicious and very large portions. The lemon egg soup is also incredible. Authentic Greek food at its finest!

Step in the front door and you are transported to Greece. The ambience is fabulous, the staff is so welcoming and the food is - 5 star! We ate at the bar and had the privilege of being served by B. Our bartender recommended a lovely wine to complement our dinners. We'll be back. Kouzina is the top of our favorite's list.

After hearing so much about Kouzina, I convinced my dad to take my stepmom and I. From pictures, it seemed more casual than it is. It's still casual, but nicer than I thought. More of an upscale casual. We got there early-ish on a Wednesday night and were able to get seating, but it got packed quickly. There was a wait by the time we left. Service was amazing. My dad and I both started with Moscow mules, which were perfect. I was about to order Greek wine, which I love, but then he ordered a mule, so I did too. My stepmom suggested the dolmades to share, which were delightful. We all loved our meals. I got the pork souvlaki pita, which was flavorful. I tried some of my dad's green beans from his fish entree, and they were great. My stepmom raved about her chicken. I can't wait to try more from Kouzina. Looking forward to returning when I'm home.

The coffee is really well-made, though if you're ordering one of their specialty drinks, just a heads-up that they lean a little on the sweeter side. As for the food, the portions are huge! We ordered a side of bacon and I'm pretty sure we ate about 10 pieces and still left with a box. While the pancakes were just okay and probably something I'd skip next time to make room for new items, the rest of the meal was solid enough to keep me coming back. One thing you have to try is their signature ketchup. It's super interesting--almost like a cross between American Ketchup and Asian Banana Ketchup. We definitely needed a few extra helpings of ketchup for our eggs and hash bowl! The atmosphere is such a vibe, too; it has this modern-meets-ranch feel with a super cute rooster mural on the wall that ties it all together. Plus, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. It's a great spot to fuel up for the day!

Formerly Grecian Diner, they serve all day breakfast and lunch in a casual atmosphere with bar counter seating, high top tables, & regular tables in the front sectionband more regular tables in the dining room to the right. The breakfast menu offerings include egg platters, omelettes, pancakes, Belgiam waffles, French toast, breakfast sammies, breakfast bowls, corned beef hash, breakfast sides and fresh brewed New England Coffee. The lunch menu offerings include burgers, sandwiches, clubs, salads, steak tips, turkey dinner, grilled chicken breast, and sides. They also offer specials and serve Pepsi fountain drinks and cocktails. I stopped by Full Circle Diner for lunch. The place was moderately busy on a Saturday. I decided to sit up at the counter so I could watch the Ryder Cup on the TV. I was given a menu and ice water. I decided on the Wrap Me Kebob ($15 plus tax) with Fries & Pickles and the Mac & Cheese Special ($15 plus tax), which was served together in about 15 minutes. The amount of food was generous. The thick wrap (cut in halves) was filled with tender grilled pulled chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, onions & Greek dressing in a chewy flour wrap. The thick cut golden steak fries were very hot & unsalted (thanks!). A small cup of dill pickle chips on the side. The mac & cheese was very dense with soft elbows and a mix of creamy cheeses. I also got a togo box for the mac & cheese to enjoy for dinner later on. The check was presented which was $32.10 (cash)/$33.38 (card) with tax and before tip. Overall, the chicken kebob wrap was amazing and the mac & cheese was pretty good and very filling. The service at the counter was attentive and I was able to watch golf too. I will definitely have to come back for breakfast!

The corned beef is large chunks, not small diced pieces found in most commercial and canned hash. The potatoes, peppers, and onions gave a nice texture and flavor. I had it topped with two over medium eggs which were perfectly cooked. As I was eyeing the French toast, he gave me a single piece which included their fruit infused whipped cream and was really, really good! That might be my entree next time. My friend got the crepes and her face was doing happy expressions while she was eating. My new best friend Maria kept my coffee mug full-she visited the table frequently to make sure my mug never got low nor cold. She also took care to clean the table promptly as plates were finished. Now if my kids could learn that... oh wait, this is a diner review. The ambiance is cute and chic. There was easy access to accommodate wheel chairs and they have their menu clearly marked for gluten free available and vegan options (most of the menu). The menu is on the fancier side; they will prepare whatever someone wants (e.g. if someone just wants 2 eggs and bacon, they can easily do that). The location is on Main St. so parking is hit or miss. If you are nearby and want something good, this is a good option!
