Wow. Just wow. I am sitting with such a full belly and am mad with myself we haven't tried this place sooner! The interior is very nice and atmospheric. A little loud, but we could still hear each other. The service was quick and peppy! We got an old fashioned, which was great. I got the half chicken with rice and a Greek salad. Wow. It was moist and flavorful and I loved the seasoning. The rice was amazing as well and the Greek salad was a huge portion and everything was fresh. R got the souvlaki plate with lamb. The lamb was cooked perfectly and tender. He also got the rice and the potato's. It came with a salad, which he didn't order, but they made it right immediately. The pitas were warm and the tzatziki was delicious. Overall, we have nothing but great things to say! We will be back soon and will add this place to our take out rotation. Cute place located in a strip mall. Not a lot of parking But the service was top notch and the portions of food were so hearty!! I wasn't that hungry and thought I'd get two small chicken skewers, except they were in fact the biggest ones I've ever seen and they came with fries. I also ordered the spanakopita appetizer. I love these! So lite and crispy, loaded with spinach and cheese! So good! My son got the half chicken, we probably could have split this as a family it was that big, it was delicious. Ordered the lamb with orzo, zucchini chips & chicken gyro. The portion size was hefty (good thing, so we could share!) and the quality of ingredients was clearly fresh. Wine was quite generic, but had to have a glass with the lamb. Restaurant is spacious, good spot for groups. We would go fairly regularly to the old kouzina and we're eager to try the "next generation". The simple store front is transformed into a lovely well decorated and lively restaurant. The food was good and pretty clearly fresh. We sampled lemon soup, both gyro's and some taramosalata. All were as we remembered. Great selection of wine and beverages and then a delicious home made baklava. So yummy! The servers weren't quite "on" that night. And when one clearly made a mistake the gal who came over kind of question us which was a little awkward But other than that it was a lovely place! read more

The food at Kouzina is simply delicious! I don't know where to begin....The fried zucchini chips are crisp and flavorful and the tzatziki sauce served with them is out of this world. My favorite, though, is the Artichoke Francoise; it is perfectly done. I have it in other places and while it may be good, it is done properly at Kouzina. Sometimes other places present you with an egg pancake, well-flavored, but not a real "Francoise." (It's "à la Française," by the way, not "francoise.") The lamb is delicious in all of its forms, as are the green beans and the beautiful salads. I always order the Avgolemono soup, but always have to request more lemon; the squeeze of the fresh lemon juice into the hot soup makes it taste like Avgolemono and be the star it should be.... I could eat at Kouzina every day. One think I am getting very nervous about, however, is the dust that will be falling on the food on the tables under the forest of fake greenery that now covers a large part of the ceiling. While it is nice to want to warm up the decor, the ceilings should remain clean, junk-free. I would remove the fake plants before the dust becomes obvious! I have been here thrice and all times good to great experience but still feel cpl things lacking to make it 5 stars. Def the service is hit or miss luckily we dont care about it much as long as food is good - great. first visit the Saganaki came cold , hard as rock and no flames or anything. (They did take it off after seeing my post on FB while waiting for check) The appetizer which were Zuchh fritters were really really soggy. That is bad part about the first visit. Saganaki was on point for the third visit (we didnt have it on our second visit) Good things from all the visits were the amazing samplers for the different dips, the bread were good and so were the dinners. Their Feta dip (a bit too salty) , Hummus, Baba ganooush were on point. Absolutely love the Deluxe platter (chicken) with Rice and Salad. Their roasted potatoes are some of the best i have tried as well. Overall Dinner is amazing. Baklava is also quite good and one of the better ones. I don't have a complaint about the food whatsoever at Kuzina because I absolutely love their food. The complain I have is with Ann Marie the bartender on Saturday nights. I guess if you're not a regular, you're not allowed to sit at her bar... when I go in on Saturday night, I'm usually with a big group of women 8 to 10 of us and we sit at a table, but I happen to go in two weeks ago with ago with my son and waited 40 minutes for a bar seat... after we sat down she told us we need to get up because the two seats we were in were reserved for somebody else when I told her I asked the hostess if you needed a reservation for the bar, she said no it's his first come first serve. She insisted we get out of our bar seats so that she could have two of her regulars sit there even though we were there waiting well before they were...Tonight I went back with a friend that I work with after a 10 hour shift and we went to sit at the bar again and because we asked a girl that had two seats on both sides of her open if she could push over one seat. Annmarie came over and started screaming at me telling me I'm rude because I asked her to move over... we said please and thank you to her numerous times for moving over. I know there are a lot of other restaurants in the area that we can frequent and we will make sure we do. I do work with 30 other women and as I said, we have been going there for as long as it's been open and never had one issue with anybody else, I don't know what the problem is. Both of the people that I went with could not believe how she was screaming at me. It's pretty sad when you go out after a long shift and have a bartender screaming at you how hard she works every Saturday night and it's actually only 730. After hearing so much about Kouzina, I convinced my dad to take my stepmom and I. From pictures, it seemed more casual than it is. It's still casual, but nicer than I thought. More of an upscale casual. We got there early-ish on a Wednesday night and were able to get seating, but it got packed quickly. There was a wait by the time we left. Service was amazing. My dad and I both started with Moscow mules, which were perfect. I was about to order Greek wine, which I love, but then he ordered a mule, so I did too. My stepmom suggested the dolmades to share, which were delightful. We all loved our meals. I got the pork souvlaki pita, which was flavorful. I tried some of my dad's green beans from his fish entree, and they were great. My stepmom raved about her chicken. I can't wait to try more from Kouzina. So disappointed in our experience. The service was terrible despite employees standing around. Food took a very long time especially because it sat at the counter while servers ignored it. We had to eventually ask them to bring our food that we could see sitting there over to us. The bathroom was dirty when we arrived and flooded by the time our food came. Went to this restaurant on 8/30/2025. 4 people for a birthday celebration. Apps spanakopita, Greek meatballs, and Greek salad. Dinners moussaka, souvlaki, 1/2 chicken, and lollipop lamb chops all with a variety of sides so we could share and taste more things. When I say we were overwhelmed with everything I am not exaggerating!! All items were perfectly seasoned and delicious. Where to start. The decor alone is beautiful and traditional. As you arrive you are greeted by a women who seems to be the owner. She was super busy on a Saturday during dinner and she never looked like it- if that makes sense. Her attitude including her staff were so nice snd professional. My server MARIA T was so sweet and quick- she had so many tables but you could never tell!! giving excellent customer service. We started with the feta dip - spicy and creamy we really enjoyed it. One thing I would want the pita that accompanied the dip to be crispier. But that's just a personal preference. For our meals I got the salmon- my dad got the baked haddock and it was honestly so fresh and the portion sizes were huge. The last time I got take out and got eggplant dip- grape leaves and the chicken gyro and my boyfriend got the lamb gyro both were pulled high with meat and just delicious and fresh.
