    Chicken doner plate
    Eugene W.

Falafel Bowl: Excellent falafel with a crunchy exterior and soft interior. I got the bowl with everything, and all of the veggies and hummus that came with it was great. Pita bread was good as well. Chicken Doner Plate: At first, I thought $21 was a steep price to pay for this. After we got it, we realized that this thing is enough for 2 people. They PILE it with meat. The chicken tasted amazing (even better than the falafel). The baba ghanoush was also fantastic. Service was very friendly. We had a group of 6 and there wasn't a lot of seating, but the staff let us pull together a few tables. Would definitely come back!

This is an adorable little place tucked away in Salem. When I opened the door the first thing that hit me was the amazing smell of all that was cooking. The staff inside were so welcoming and friendly and our food was outstanding. This is one of our new favorite places for sure!!

Falafel plate with garden salad and fries

Staff was very friendly and helpful when ordering. Food was delicious and very fresh. Falafel was so crisp but soft and delicious on the inside. Cucumber tomato salad was light and fresh. Fries were crispy. Chicken shawarma was excellent and flavors were awesome. Pita tasted fresh. The garden salad had a nice Light dressing like a vinaigrette and had delicious purple cabbage that tasted like it was pickled. We had a nice light lunch and split everything between four people on a hot day. Fantastic!

Two meat plate. Lamb kebob and spicy chicken. White bean salad, hummus, and pita

I was looking around the cemetery in Salem and saw this place. I've never had Turkish food before so thought I would give it a shot. They have some inside seating and some outside seating. I ordered the two meat plate to try two meats. Lamb and spicy chicken. It came with a pita and two sides-I got hummus and the white bean salad. There was a woman taking orders and a man cooking. When the woman was taking phone orders, the man answered questions and even came outside when he saw a couple looking to throw away their trash after eating. I waited at an outside table for my order, it took about 15 minutes. It was a warm day, but there was a nice breeze. The nice woman brought me my food, and I was in my way back to my hotel to enjoy lunch. The food was amazing! The meat was so good, the rice was delicious (and I'm not a rice person yet I gobbled it down), the hummus and white bean salad were also really good. Paprika grill did not disappoint, and if I'm back in the area, it will be on my list to order from again.

The only place I found around this town that had great food. The prices were reasonable and the portion sizes are large. We sat outside and had a great afternoon meal.

Lentil Soup Spicy Chicken Adana Wrap

Came here after a long day in Salem. Wasn't sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. Keep in mind, dine in section was closed but there's a couple outdoor tables to the left to eat at. I got the Spicy chicken wrap, think a spicy chicken burrito. The chicken was well seasoned and very flavorful. I tried the lentil soup, not my cup of soup but my friend said it was good so that is probably a better judge of the soup. There's no trashcan around but bring it back to the window and they're more than happy to take back the trash!

Amazing takeout! Falafel plate in the front, lentil soup and grape leaves in the back. Delicious!

We have ordered Paprika takeout a few times recently through Uber Eats and are such huge fans! They have amazing food, great quality ingredients, and a really unique (and affordable!) menu. My boyfriend and I love the fact that we can order a ton of dishes to share without breaking the bank. Their falafel is my favorite in the area by far. SO GOOD! Make sure you get some, even as a side. We also love the lentil soup, the gyros, and the grape leaves. You really can't go wrong at Paprika. We can't wait to order again!

April 17, 2026 I…read morewent with my parents tonight to the Adriatic Restaurant (Washington Street), Salem, MA. We've started having dinner out twice a month and this was the most recent experience. I had gone online to the NORTH SHORE DINNING PAGE on Facebook and asked people about their experiences with the restaurant in the last two days and here's what people said: "great, tender meatballs", "great eggplant parmigiana", "very good experience". .... And what we found out is that they were right. Those things were all true! Now.... As to what we ordered: I got the grilled octopus. It was the only partial miss on the menu. Arugula just doesn't make a very good sauce and it was a pretty bad base for what would otherwise might have been a great appetizer. My mother got the Caesar salad. It was good. It's a hard thing to screw up. My father ordered the meatballs. They were amazing and delicious - just like Facebook promised. The tzatziki sauce was good. Maybe not as good as mine, but good nonetheless. So dinner.... Mine was the Chicken Saltimboca. It was so good that I'd bathe in the sauce they make with it. I loved eating forkfuls of the chicken with bites of the mashed potatoes. That was really luxuriant. My mother had the Eggplant parmigiana and she wiped out the entire plate. She loved it. My father.... Beef tenderloin tips. Maybe cooked slightly too much, but delicious. He wiped out the plate. To drink.... I was out of the hospital and recovering from brain tumor surgery, so I had the hard cider (3.5% BV), my father had the Peroni (Italian) beer, and my mother had the Bud light. I tasted the Peroni and liked it very much. The hard cider had almost no sweetness to it. It was dry as a higher end brut champagne.... Which actually set off the meal really nicely. My tastes weren't clashing and that was good. Our waiter, Sean, was great. Ask for him! We left a $32 tip, so the bill came to $197.85

I had a delicious espresso martini and for apps I tried the arancini and picked off my sister's caesar salad. They were both alright, but the caesar could've used more dressing and I didn't love the flavor of the arancini - just a bit bland. For my entree I had the shrimp scampi. This also really lacked flavor, and I was yearning for more tomatoes. The service was great and our waitress Leanna was attentive and super sweet. They had clean bathrooms and ample parking out front and around the block. However, the food wasn't memorable, and I don't think I'll go out of my way to return.

In this review, I want to concentrate on the ways that Ithaki creates a fine-dining atmosphere that is warm, relaxing, gracious, and satisfying. To begin, the facility itself is beautifully decorated, spacious, and warm. There is a bar with televisions, and some informal seating as one enters, and beyond that there are a number of booths and tables, with plenty of room for larger groups. One of the keys to Ithaki is the quality of the serving staff. I have named many of them in previous reviews. On April 21, I want to comment on the many ways that our server, Patty, made our dining experience exceptional. My partner and I were introducing two dear friends to Ithaki, and we wanted the dinner to be special. We told Patty that we wanted to take our time and enjoy all aspects of the dinner. Since it was Tuesday, we opened with the one dollar oyster specials. After serving our drinks, Patty gave us ample time to enjoy the oysters and chat, and then when everyone was finished, she brought the small plates (we had ordered mushrooms, calamari, pork souvlaki, and lamb lollipops - all up to the usual high standards). Patty made sure that everyone had finished what they wished before she began clearing the tapas plates and replacing the silverware in preparation for the main courses. One of our pet peeves is when a server removes plates and cutlery when others in the party are still eating. We had time to talk and enjoy the dinner, and only then did the mains arrive (we had a scallops special and the short rib pappardelle - again excellent). No dinner plate was removed until all parties had had time to enjoy the meal. Finally, both couples had our favorite dessert, galactobouriko, of course with new plates and silverware. There was no rush for us to leave, and two hours and fifteen minutes after we entered, we left in a state of total satisfaction, having been treated as welcome guests throughout the dinner. Too often, many restaurants make one feel that they are in a rush to "turn over" the table, but never at Ithaki! Our experience on April 21 was exceptional, but it is the same service we have been receiving since we had our first "date" over two years ago. So even though we are highlighting Patty in this review, she is just one example of a really exceptional waitstaff. Finally, even with a bottle of wine and all the delights we just mentioned, our cost with tax and a 20% tip was still just $75/person, and worth every penny.

After being a customer for many years I moved to RI and on occasion would come back when visiting. Noticed the menu has been through lots of changes, I miss the "raw" aspect of it. We ordered online 3 hours ahead and still ended up waiting another 40 mins for it. The pizza is no longer on a homemade raw base it seems to be on a typical packaged crust. It wasnt what I was used to from this place but it wasn't bad. The mac and cheese was really bad; The macaroni wasn't cooked and it had no flavor. The nachos were very good but super soggy because they were probably waiting for the other foods to be cooked . My sister liked her bowl and I liked my wrap.
