Y'all sometimes you're just craving chain American restaurant food ok. You are willing to drive out there and wait for 1 hour and 20 minutes. You endure being bombarded by six to eight television screens that alternate between broadcasting the live OSU basketball game and AI brainrot. You wolf down two bread baskets so the server will offer you a third (you pack that one for home). As you tuck into your steak or burger or whatever, you note that the original Texas Roadhouse in Indiana is better. You dismiss this thought because suddenly the music swells and all the servers drop what they're doing and perform a coordinated dance in the aisles. You are unsure where to look so you look at the middle-aged/elderly white couples who also do not know where to look. You take your leftovers (most importantly, the bread and butter) home. You leave the blooming cactus practically untouched because it turns out that it tastes way too fried. Your craving has been satisfied (for now). read more

Before we get into this overall, pretty negative review, I want to preface with the fact that I LOVE texas roadhouse. I want to college in a town where the only options were Texas roadhouse or a Mexican restaurant to go out to eat (or fast food, of course). I have lived in a bunch of different places, including Lousiville, KY (where it's HQ) and literally Texas. I have never had a bad experience until we decided to venture into this place. Save your time, money, and energy. Beyond the fact that we had to remind our waitress for everything, my order was wrong and I even said so, and was ignored. I have gotten the same salad, every time we've gone for probably close to a decade. I get the filet salad; and I LOVE IT. Today, when my salad was sat down, I was just sad. It was legitimately a house salad, with steak on it. Mind you, this salad is $19. It's not supposed to be just some lettuce and tomatoes with steak on top. I called out the fact that this salad looked incredibly different from any other I'd had here in the past, and was assured I was given the right thing. I am going to post photos of a typical filet salad, and what I was given. We ordered drinks, appetizers, and entrees, we weren't skimping or trying to get away with anything. There was a wait when we got there, around three. The entire meal, I just felt like I needed to eat and get out as fast as possible (which was weird, because there were open tables everywhere). This was incredibly frustrating, because this was a special occasion for us. We were trying to have a special meal, and it ended up being more stress than it's worth. The overall vibe of the plus was still Texas Roadhouse, but it genuinely seemed like everyone wearing an "I love my Job" shirt, was being held there against their will. They all seemed so over, everything. Feel free to continue to visit Texas roadhouse, just maybe try any of the additional 4 in the Columbus area. Okay, first time ever going to ANY Texas Roadhouse. How come nobody ever told me it was so fun?!? Upon learning that my wife and I were both first timers, the staff went over and above to make us satisfied customers. And I also appreciate our waitress explaining the line dancing that they all do periodically. I got the filet medallions, and she got a full slab of ribs, which were the definition of fall-off-the-bone. Both were great values, and both tasted really good "for a chain restaurant." Low-key, the sides were really good across the board. The green beans and corn were the best (and who ever says that?!?) The mashed potatoes were right up there, and the Cactus Blossom shareable was a must-get if for no other reason than appearance. Arriving during their happy hour even saved a few bucks on my margarita. All in all, we got a lot of bang for our buck with ample leftovers and a darn fun experience. Yee-haw! read more

My food was decent. I got the country fried steak and it was SMOTHERED in gravy! SMOTHERED! I think I would have enjoyed it much better had I asked for the gravy on the side. We have been coming to this location for awhile, the service is always great, the environment is so upbeat and every time they cook our food exactly as we want it. My wife usually has challenges with her steak because she likes medium well, these guys always make it just right and in fact they have turned her into a rib-lover. I hadn't been here in EONS. The only thing bringing me in was my kiddo got a free kids meal from his school for being an overall AMAZING kiddo and student. The last time I was here was when they gave folks the metal bucket of peanuts and let folks chuck the shells all over the floor and anyplace. A WHOLE LOT has changed from my prior experience. Back in the day I remember it would just be a crowd of folks by the door waiting to be seated. Not anymore, they've got like a numbered wall system that when you walk in your party stands by a number and then a person comes and seats you. The rolls and butter here are legendary as usual and the service was much better. The waiter offered an all day $5 Long Island Ice tea that I assumed was gonna be some Applebees, TGI Fridays, Chili's BS but it wasn't it was STRONG AF and I was pleasantly surprised and glad I ordered it! I got the full rack of Babyback Ribs that were meaty, juicy, fall off the bone. It had a good grill flavor and the sauce for them were good as well. The fries were great, the seasoned rice was on point, the sweet potato with the marshmallows were good as well. The only LOW POINT were the nuggets or whatever they were for the kids meal but the honey mustard with them was more flavorful than the dry dehydrated nuggets. The kiddo wound up smashing a HALF RACK of RIBS instead because they were soooo good . I don't know what kind of training or corporate redo took place at this establishment but the setup, service, and quality of food was NIGHT AND DAY from years prior and we'll definitely be back read more

I just suffered food poisoning from a dinner I had there on Sunday evening. I suspect the culprit was the ribs I had. It was the only item on my plate that didn't look right, but I guess I should have known better than to eat it. Needless to say I no longer will be eating at this location ever again. It's been a while since I've been to Texas Roadhouse. The last one I visited was in Kentucky Now I'm in Columbus Ohio and surprisingly the place was packed for a Wednesday. Sometimes I think people forgot how to cook. We didn't have to wait long. We were asked to stand next to a sign that read "B" ( for boarding?) Just made me feel like cattle. I was waiting to hear the mooing...but I'm deaf. So much for that. I brought my laptop with me in order to communicate with a person who doesn't know sign language. We were placed at a very small table where I had absolutely no room to even open my laptop. However we asked politely if we could sit at a larger table and it was not a problem. I was thankful for that. I went with the mushroom burger and my friend ordered the 8 oz steak. He told me he was not impressed with his steak but I have to say my mushroom burger was a delicious delight. Our server did a nice job in serving us and making sure we had all we needed. The shirts they wear say "I love my job" And if I were judging, I would have to say the staff did seem genuinely happy to be working there. Thank you guys and gals for the work you do. Great call ahead on the website. We were seated within our time frames. Service was excellent and and food tasted great. Hubby and I each enjoyed their signature margarita. Peanuts were served in a sealed bag instead of a bowl on the table. I ordered steak bites with onions and sautéed mushrooms with brown gravy on the side with mashed potatoes and a side salad. Side salad had fresh eggs on the top and very good and crisp. Steak bites were tender and little bigger than bite size. Mushrooms and onions were plentiful! This place is so dark....Please find my letter below: I am writing to express my deep disappointment and concern regarding a distressing experience that occurred during our family's regular visit to your Reynoldsburg location on April 9, 2025. My family and I have dined at your restaurant every Wednesday without issue for quite some time -- it has become a cherished tradition for us. On this particular visit, my 13-year-old daughter, who is autistic and has a documented disability, attempted to order a kids meal as she has always done. It is important to note that my daughter has unique sensory needs and a very specific comfort with certain meals -- this is not a matter of cost, but a matter of accommodation for her disability. As she is unable to order for herself, I placed the order for her, as I always do. The waitress, Joy, flatly denied the order, stating that my daughter was not allowed to order from the kids menu. While I initially expressed calm concern and attempted to explain the nature of my daughter's disability, the waitress became visibly irritated and unaccommodating. Matters escalated when she sent a manager to our table -- a red-haired woman whose name I unfortunately did not receive -- who approached us in an openly hostile and confrontational manner. Rather than handle the matter with empathy or professionalism, this manager embarrassed my daughter publicly by demanding, "Well how old is your daughter? Is she older than 12?" in front of a busy dining room. The tone was accusatory, demeaning, and completely lacking in compassion or discretion. My daughter, humiliated and upset, was unable to eat her meal, which we ultimately had to throw away. Let me be extremely clear: this was not simply a customer service issue -- this was a direct violation of our daughter's dignity and rights under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). As a family of attorneys, we are currently exploring legal action in partnership with ADA counsel due to the discriminatory and inappropriate handling of this situation. We are also preparing to share this experience with relevant disability rights advocates and local organizations that champion inclusion and respect. We are not seeking an apology for the sake of formality -- we are seeking accountability, awareness, and a change in policy or training that ensures this kind of situation never happens to another disabled child or family again. We request a prompt written response to this matter and details of any steps you will take to address this unacceptable conduct. Absolutely amazing service from both Dylan and Star ! Dylan helped me out with my to go order for a catus blossom in the drive through best experience i've had so far. Called in to let them know how terrific he was and Star answered she was so genuine it just made me smile. We like this restaurant as a family and as a couple. We refer it as the peanut place to distinguish exactly what steakhouse we are referring to. We've never had to send anything back as the servers show you a picture of what " medium rare, well done etc " looks like on a steak cross section. Every one is in agreement . Country music is played at moderate volume but conversation is easily possible. They have incredible loaded potatoes but we didn't order that so no pic of that. We left very happy. read more

Loaded the table up with so many drinks it was unmanageable when food arrived, had to send goid away for space. The four star could easily be higher if the little details had been looked at. Probably 4.5 for the food, but overall just average place. Very loud space with music and tv's both going, practically had to yell to be heard. Table was clean but rest of place looked like a car wreck. No side plates for the ice cold dinner rolls. Slow staff, and our main waitress had a real attitude. Pretty long wait on everything, drinks, salad and entrees. 7p Friday evening they were pretty busy but two top wait was only about 15 mins. Got a pick up order for Valentine's Day. Was told they were out of veggies for sides. Also, ordered a sweet potato, and baked potato that were not in order and someone saw fit to substitute 2 servings of very greasy rice. My steak was 1/4 fat and gristle and I'm in doubt it was the cut I ordered. The other 2 steaks were well cooked, but I'm in doubt they were what was ordered. It always feels weird reviewing such a massive franchised restaurant but this Texas Roadhouse is pretty nostalgic for me. We came here as a family alllll the time growing up. When you're going to a chain restaurant, you pretty much know what you're getting. The service here has always been nice, I don't think I've ever had a complaint. The manager almost always stops by the table, we never get any major mixups, there's never an excessive wait, etc. The food is fine, I don't know anyone who doesn't love their complimentary rolls and butter. My brothers always love the steaks and ribs, where as I'm a more chicken tenders kinda gal. The chicken is fine, but my favorite part about coming here is the loaded sweet potatoes. I don't want to think about the calories involved in a baked sweet potato smothered in honey cinnamon butter, caramel sauce, and marshmallows... but it's absolutely delicious. read more

I need someone to explain to me how the always consistent food coming from the back is, to me, always perfect. I only eat red meat one day a week....Sundays in here for Prime Rib and I cannot tell you how good it is...always. BARTENDERS, SERVERS, SERVER ASSISTANTS/BUSSERS.... just dropped in for an early supper! i walked in and the smell of awesomeness tickled my nostrils. the warm red light from the kitchen hit my skin like a tanning booth. this lovely gem of a lady helped us to our booth! i don't recommend trying to have a good conversation with the host cause they only answer by saying "good." we sat down and ate as many rolls as possible (20 baskets FYI) the food came out in a jiffy and smelled amazing! and tasted like a baby's butt (that means amazing) thanks for such a good family bonding! now i won't get a divorce read more

I must admit it, this is a fun place to always be. I love the energy of the staff, the atmosphere of the place and their food is great. I may have had a few issues here and there in the past, but this place always seems to make me happy. Their rolls with their butter are amazing but be careful not to eat too many. The steaks at our table were tough, with lots of fat and grizzle, which is not what I expect at a steakhouse. For reference, we had the strip steaks.
