We met our son here for a small family celebration and had a great time. We had the onion blossom appetizer which was pretty standard, but the dipping sauce leveled it up. Our son had a ribeye with steak fries and a Caesar salad. He enjoyed everything and took more than half home to enjoy today. My wife and I split the filet medallions which come served on a bed of rice, with a house salad and steak fries. We also enjoyed it all, the filet mignon was melt in your mouth and properly prepared for a rare order. We also had leftovers that became dinner tonight. Service was quick and excellent. Wait staff checked on us frequently and promptly provided anything we needed like drink refills. You are seated with fresh hot dinner rolls. The provide whipped cinnamon butter by will provide plain butter on request. It's easy to fill up on rolls and salad, be warned! lol Ambience, if you've never been, it is a very standard design for contemporary mid range steakhouses. It is also very loud. I read that they blast the music so people don't sit and chat for extensive times. With their lines I can see why they want tables to turn over. The impeccable service is consistent any time of the year including St Patrick's Day! The bar offered great St Paddy's Day drink specials so my guests had the Orange Mule, a play on the Moscow Mule. The food portions were HUGE as we dove into the dinners beef tips, sirloin fried steak and the chicken critters w/ sirloin was a pot of gold! It was all enuf to feed an army of leprechauns! Me and hubby were craving steak and we know that Texas Roadhouse never disappoints and today was no different. So we started off with some Rattlesnake Bites that we had never tried before and let me just say Wow. They were creamy, cheesy & full of flavor. We will definitely have these again. For our entrees we both had Ribeyes and they were bloody Perfect. The seasoning was delicious and spot on like always and they were cooked exactly to the temperature we asked for. I also had a baked potato and chili and they were both delightful. Staff and service were professional and friendly, we sat at the bar top because there was no wait. I got the 12oz prime rib and a sweet potato. My meal overall was pretty good. The prime rib does have a smoked flavor so if you don't care for a smoked meat you may not like it. Their steaks do have a different flavor not sure if it's the seasoning or the meat itself. My friend ordered the boneless ribeye and was very disappointed with it. It does get loud at times but it's usually when they do their dances. Was recommended this place for a good, affordable steak, and I was very impressed. Came right after balloon fiesta, got offered a seat at the bar and I took it. Lots of TVs, so had lots of sports games to pick and choose from. The menu has a pretty good amount of variety, but I zeroed in on the steaks because that's what I came looking for. Ended up going with a 14 ounce steak. As you can see, lots of fat and cooked to medium rare perfection. Horseradish was complimentary and pretty fresh. Mashed potatoes was a great side, very creamy. I wasn't a fan of the vegetables side however (forgot to snap a picture). Feels like those were kind of overcooked and not very tasty at all. But for the price, I really can't complain. Stopped in on Saturday before Easter for a quick lunch bite. We were greeted and seated promptly with no wait, although the parking lot was packed! they are literally so racist!! i went last weekend and i use my ecuadorian passport as my id (a passport is a valid and legal form of id no matter what country is from) and our server said "we don't take that, only us issued id's or passports" and so i didn't get a beer just water, whatever and then i asked to speak to the manager when we finished our meal because i had a feeling it wasn't true and the manager told me that's not true and that they accept any passport and apologized for the server being racist. read more

SECOND UPDATE: The GM, who says he is the owner, we found out that he is the GM. He did finally called us, he was extremely rude. When I first wrote this review, he said as the owner in a form letter to copy and paste the review and send to guest relations, so they can help. We heard nothing so we sent it in again. The GM was very mean and said that he was not going to call us because we don't support the behavior, we said what behavior, we have done nothing wrong. He did not even give us a chance to speak. He said that he read our review, but we really don't think he did because he didn't know what actually happened. He just listen to an employee and things were taken out context. He made a comment and said that he wants to protect his employee, but what if the employee is in the wrong. UPDATE: Received a form letter response from the owner without any help. He said to copy and paste and send this concern to Guest Relations, we did the same day of the review. THIS IS THE WORST EXPERIENCE. We came in on June 3rd for dinner, we normally come to this location at the average 2 to 4 times a week and for most accessions for over 4 years. We have never turned a server away or asked for another server. There is a server, which we have had 3 or 4 times in the past, we have always been very friendly to her, but she has always been so mean and rude. She stands way far from the table, like we stink, to take our order, she throws are drinks on the table, totally ignores us. We can't even get her attention, if we need anything. We never complained about her, we just dealt with the situation and tried to enjoy our meal. Today the hostess took us to the table, we just happen to ask the hostess for the first time, who was the server for this table, because the last time we were seated at this table, we had a bad experience. The hostess asked what is her name and wanted to know who she was. My husband just tried to explain what she looked like and said that she is African American. The host said we have two servers and asked if she was young or older and we said older. The hostess said that the server for this table is a different server. Even if the server had happened to have been this server. We would have not asked for another server. We never ever were picking servers; we have always accepted whoever we had gotten as a server for every visit. We received our food and just started eating our meal. Eddie, one of the managers came straight to me while we were eating and was aggressive in the way she was talking to us. She never said hello or excuse me. She said we don't have the right to come into my house and pick and choose a server and you don't get to say that African Americans can't serve you, and that one of our kids said the server was mean. We were so confused, we tried to explain to her she was so wrong. She also threaded us that our time at this restaurant had ended. She was about to kick us out and our understanding, we would not be allowed return, so confusing. Our son was trying to say that she is incorrect. I said that I have been in management before and that you can't just take one side, you should speak to people respectfully and ask what the problem is to find out what really happened. Eddie continued many times, denying how she came to us and how she treated us. She ruined our entire dinner. She never asked what kind of problems we had with the server. She kept on contradicting herself. Eddie made this situation a race thing, not us. We were only describing the server when the hostess asked who the server was, because we did not know her name. If the server was a tall white man with blond hair. We would have never been approached or treated the way we were. We spoke to Eddie three times including the time she came to the table, I was asking if we could speak to the district or general manager, she said oh he already knows about this situation, he has already left the restaurant and that we don't really need to talk to him. From the wait on a busy night to the hosts and waiters, including the management have always treated my wife and I well. Okay so as for the food? I just got take out. This place was crazy busy. I had to park over in the mall parking across the road. I placed my order at the take out window. The young lady there was very cordial and efficient. I got my order within 10 minutes. They have a good system to text you your order is placed, and when it is ready for pickup. I just sat on an outside bench., I just got their Texas Roadhouse Chili with the fixings on the side. The cheese and red onion were in the small takeout tub together. I would have preferred they were in separate tubs, so I could add less red onions. I got one of their famous baked sweet potatoes with the fixings the side. I expected some butter and their cinnamon sugar. Instead I got some melted marshmallows on a piece of aluminum foil. Now that was crazy. Thankfully I had butter at home. Next time I guess I will be more explicit in how I want my side items packaged. The chili was decent, but not as I recalled. There was like no meat in my portion. So two hours later we are seated, in regular times I would have walked away, but with Covid this is now the norm. Cook did not k ow how to cook a med rare steak. It was rare, very rare. To rare. Yuck. They took it back it came back still rare. By then I was like forget it. Took back again and this time they just hurt the hell out of it. My family and I ate here last night and have been here numerous times. We always enjoy the food however, the atmosphere is why I gave a 3 star rating. The waiting "area" is so cramped and awkwardly next to where staff walk back and forth. You have to constantly move out of the way. The music was also unusually very loud- my family and I couldn't have a conversation. It wasn't an enjoyable lunch because of this and we couldn't wait to get out of there. For the second time, we have walked out of this location to regroup at Outback. It was my husband's birthday dinner and we had a group of six to have dinner. We planned to eat early in order to "beat the crowd", and I put my name on the wait list. We arrived shortly before 4:00; however, two of our party were stuck in traffic behind accidents--one on I-25 and one local roads. The hostess said that she would be glad to go ahead and seat the four of us, as long as I was in a position to place orders for their entrees!! I told her that I could place orders for appetizers and beverages, but that wasn't good enough. My husband is a semi-invalid and was leaning against the wall sucking on his oxygen machine, and the hostess said "I have my rules"--I told her that if we couldn't get seated immediately, we were leaving to go to Outback, and she said "Have a nice evening." We left. Texas Roadhouse is now off my list of places to go for meals, especially for special occasions, since they have "rules" that prove that they are not willing to accommodate unforeseen circumstances. read more
