    Adobada and eggs
    Tia T.

Been on the road for over 23 hours and needed to stop for breakfast. Found this hidden gem off 40 west. Family owned restaurant. Authentic and friendly as soon as we walked in the door. Don't let the outside fool you, this food is fire. There are no real parking spots but a lot in front. Our server was super personable and asked about our road-trip, This looks like a cozy breakfast cafe but they also serve lunch and dinner. The adobada and eggs was delicious, had some kick. The polish sausage Mexican style is the most popular item on the menu. If you're in the area, please stop by.

Sopaipillas with breakfast - a fantastic option.

I was in the mood for huevos rancheros today so we stopped in for brunch. I had mine topped with red (flavorful with a little kick) and they were wonderful. Of course, I chose sopaipillas to go with. Everything was great!

    Mexican special!!

Food was amazing. Service was excellent. Waitresses were very quick and friendly. Food came out delicious and hot. Green chile wasn't hot but had great flavor. Old school feel of a diner definitely worth it.

Packed atmosphere. Friendly service. Great food. I recommend the country fried steak with a side of red chile. Grab a pancake too. Ask to sit at the Breaking Bad booth which is also the Stranger Things booth I think. Fair prices too!

    Small place, tasty food

Food: Appetizers: We got a variety including duck confit egg rolls, encrusted brie, fried asparagus, mussels, rattlesnake sausages and sopaipillas. The encrusted brie was a crowd favorite (who doesn't love fried cheese?) but I thought the addition of bread was unnecessary when the brie provided its own crispy texture. The mussels were good but a little spicy so beware! The sopaipilla was my least favorite dish. They served bite sized sopaipillas with cheese on top. A delicious idea but the sopaipilla was chewy and flat rather than fluffy. All entrees come with the option of a soup or salad. French Onion Soup: This was my side of choice and it was super salty. Norwegian Salmon: The salmon was perfectly cooked. It was flaky and moist but had crispy skin. The saffron tomato risotto that came with it was undercooked. The Farm: This comes with duck leg confit, lamb chop, and rotating protein (elk for our meal). Each meat was perfectly cooked. The duck meat fell off the bone easily and was succulent. The lamb chop and elk were tender and not overcooked. The green chile risotto that came with it was quite spicy! However, it does seem variable as others had the same side but it was less spicy. Lemon Leche Cake: True to its name, it was very lemony while keeping the tres leche cake flavor. It was quite cold. Service: 4 Our servers were very patient with our large group and did not make any mistakes with our orders. Ambiance: 4 Seared is a small restaurant with a southwest theme. It would be a nice restaurant for a casual date or dinner with friends. It has its own parking lot.

Sixty Six Acres - Shishito Peppers - not spicy. Still very good.

First on service - I ordered carry out, and the woman who took my order over the phone was extremely kind. We went with the Korean Chicken bites, the Margarita Flatbread, & the green chilli cheeseburger. The Chicken bites were terrible. Taste wasn't great at all, they were very very fried, but not in a good way. I love some good crunchy fried chicken but these just were not it! The flavor, the texture, none of it was right. The Margarita Flatbread was med. Taste was pretty good, but it was soggy and didn't hold up well at all. That said it was the best of the 3 things we did get. Unfortunately, that's not saying much..... The burger was okay also. Not bad by any means, but nothing special at all either....considering there's a burger place next door I thought the burger would be able to compete with the neighbor, but trust me if you want a burger, go next door! They don't put sauce on it at all, no nothing. Just straight up patty, cheese and bun. Only my 6 year old cousin eats like that.....I did add some mayo and ketchup, which helped, but still not a great burger.... The bun didn't add much for us either, even though it was baked in house with green chilli....A simple brioche would be better imo... The fries with the burger were actually the best single item of the experience. Their fries are really good! So good that I was going to eat every single one of them but instead my waiter just came and took my plate before I had finished the last 10 or so. No are you finished yet, or anything, just grabbed it, turned and left. I was so shocked I didn't even have time to say I'm not done with that. He left the crummy chicken bites we weren't eating though..... LOL Seriously don't touch my plate unless it's empty, or you ask first! Since it was a small amount I let it slide and didn't reduce his tip because the rest of the service was actually pretty good overall..... I definitely 100% will not be back here though, there's much better food in the area.

Yes it's divey, but in a way that taste buds don't care about. If you recall Hell or High Water, this feels like that cafe, but less sassy a wait staff. Decor is lots of old wood, leather booths, neon signs. It sort of feels like Old Vegas. Old, but not run down, classy in it's age. Drinks are dive bar classics Cape Cod on a menu, Sutter Home and Cavit. LIIT, lmeon drop, tequila sunrise, what are we 12 now. I actually like a bohemia, shiner, guiness (not on tap) with my dinner. Their early week special is a 14oz boneless strip which is beefy and juicy, don't over cook this as it will toughen up. Their late week prime rib is thick, tender and wall to wall pink. They do have horseradish if you ask. Their ribeyes are on the smaller side, but very good quality. They have their own butcher and not a chef who does the butchery. The baked potat is generous sized and well accompanied. Prices are decent, quality is good and portions are excellent. Feels more midwest than southwest in vibe, but the Greek immigrant influence is interesting as I'm curious how Bakalava and dolmas and a shish kabob might taste. The Ham & cheese and grilled cheese just seem out of place, but not more than seeing Milk on the menu.....with sizes offered. My ideal meal here is the late week speciall prime rib, with fried shimp and chopped green chilis. Fried mozzarella sticks and a shrimp cocktail to start. They let you order cold center which is how I like my porterhouse and ribeyes. The salads don't come with tomatoes, but their burgers do, weird. She also seemed very distracted and did not have good recall when we were putting in our orders. She came back several times to ask what our drink orders were before finally bringing over the tablet to enter in the information right in front of us. Secondly, our food took forever to come. This also happened the first time we came to eat at social house a year ago, but it felt more pronounced this time. And the restaurant was not full. Probably a third full of patrons? We were seated at 6:45 and our food did not arrive until 830. Quite the wait if you ask me. Finally, the kitchen was having some sort of smoke issue. If you've never been in an establishment where the grease smell and smoke is visibly accumulating in the air, you know it's quite distracting from a dining experience. It was so smoky inside. I actually caught myself blinking my eyes to see if it was just my vision being blurry or if it was the room. Our food was fine, the pork belly was a standout. Otherwise, I'm not sure I need to come here again. I wish that they would get a better handle on service timing, because that seems to be an ongoing issue.
