The problem was that most of them were disrespectful, either calling me honey or sweetheart, talked down to me, or just never provided a quote. One had the nerve to tell me they wouldn't meet with me unless my husband was there. Well, I'm not married. So... Anyway, Matthew was delightful. He spoke to me like I was a human being, answered my questions and was always good at communicating next steps in the process. And since the problem wasn't as bad as anticipated he even called to offer me a small refund on the work they didn't have to do. I instead tipped the tile guy with it. Now, I would be lying if I said we didn't hit a snag. There was a significant leak after the completion of the project and Matthew had the tile crew and the shower door guys out to take care of it. This right here is the reason they deserve all 5 stars. I felt heard, was taken care of and I came out the other side ecstatic.

Also, their statement "We will do everything we can to meet your expectations" is completely incorrect. If I request something to be done it shouldn't be questioned, especially since I'm the customer. I brought in another company to complete my project and they reviewed what was already completed. They would not progress the project further until the previous work that was completed was corrected. I can't speak for any of their other service crews for flooring and tiling but I would be worried about their GC doing your job. The customer shouldn't have to GC the GC they hired. Hire at your own risk.

It was such a great experience especially because Elite had multiple teams who could repair the leak and paint and restore all damaged areas in a timely manner. We live in Rockwall county so it's a bit out of the way but he would come multiple times a week. Foster's Hardwood Servic'e came in and cleaned, buffed and applied a "poly" finish to our floors and they are beyond gorgeous now. The employees were always on time, courteous and helpful. I HIGHLY recommend Foster's Hardwood Floor Service. Makes me wish we had hired them to install the floors in the first place!

They quoted me a price, asked for half up front and then proceeded to destroy my wood floors. They didn't sand them properly, then slopped on furniture stain and left it for three days. It still hadn't dried, you could see parts of the previous varnish on the floors. So there solution was to slop on some more furniture stain and leave it. After taking $1,100 from me they just didn't show up to finish the job. No calls, nothing. It cost me $3,000 to repair the damage they did to my floors. They are unprofessional, Jeff was talking to everyone who would listen to him about pot, always late (when they bothered to show up) and obviously had no idea what they were doing. It took them over a week to mess up my floors, it took two and a half days to get them fixed by professionals. And to make matters worse they ruined a sheet of plywood that I was planning on returning to Lowe's because they grabbed it (without asking) and set it up across my sawhorses and stained the quarter round on it. I had stripes of stain across my plywood, rendering it nonreturnable, and stain all over my saw horses! They got stain all over my freshly painted walls and baseboards, I had a big hand print on my wall from Jeff. I even had stain on my bathroom cabinets - a room they weren't doing the floors in! I had to have two rooms and my hallway repainted because of them. If you don't like your house and just want it ruined and your money taken, then I'd use them. Otherwise, don't.
