I appreciate the company reaching out but not happy with how it was handled at all. At first, I was told that I wrote a review for the wrong company. Then, our invoice was found and the manager told us this: 7/5/2020, 11:21 AM Shalene B. "Those are two different quotes, the first one is the system replace and then gave an 2nd option if you wanted duct work replaced at the time of the change out --- Your review has inaccurate information. We would never ask someone to clean there our coils and tell them out to do it. Also our quote is right is line what you were quoted someone. If you can kindly update your review or remove the inaccurate information we would greatly appreciate it." I'm sure we can all do BASIC MATH and add together ( or use a calculator ) and add $6830 + $2700 = $9,580 TOTAL for the recommended repairs. We made the CHOICE to save ourselves the $600 to clean the Coils and Outside Condenser ourselves and again, so glad we did because it didn't work. She is correct - NO ONE SHOWED US how to do it. Rather we got on the internet and watched numerous videos and Bob Villa along with other AC companies on how to clean it ourselves - again, glad we did because then we'd be out a total of $695 for no ac. I used TCA to purchase and install my 3 mini-split units in a 2BR/2BR home on Lake Travis. They have been great to work with! I have a service plan and they come out 2 x per year to make sure all systems remain "good to go" for the Texas summer heat! This is not comfort you can rely on. I requested a breakdown of the work that was scheduled to be completed. I made this request 3 separate times. Finally I received a 2 line email the day of service. The email did not provide any explanation, only the cost that was previously quoted to me. It would be irresponsible of me to spend money and I have no idea what I am paying for. I was not even given the name of the part that needed to be replaced. This company expected me to pay over $800 with zero explanation as to how this price was reached. This company has poor business practices. I absolutely do not recommend this company! Our experience has been horrible from install to service. We used Mark's company Texas Comfort Air twice for our new construction homes and were told that we were getting the best units possible. In our most recent home, we have had to replace every single coil at two years post-construction which cost us thousands of dollars (over $6000+) in total repair on our dollar. They didn't cover any of the issues. Let me add we have had issues from day 1 with cooling and heating and there are always excuses to why it doesn't work properly. The excuses have been ridiculous...It's too efficient, it's too smart, it's too hot outside, etc. We have built over 7 new construction high-end custom homes over the last 15 years and have never experienced any of these issues with prior installs and servicing from other companies. We have had issues from day 1 and had very costly issues at 2 years that we had repaired. Now at 3 years post install, we have an air leak in our attic, an issue with the AC motor, and likely more coil leaks. We scheduled an appointment for service/repair and they notified us on the day they were supposed to come that they are no longer servicing us (how convenient). The owner is not responding to my calls and gave ample chances to rectify the issue. If you live in Spanish Oaks (a high-end neighborhood) where there is lots of new construction, I am aware of several families that have run into the exact same issues. The fact that Texas Comfort Air installed and recommended these products, charged us for thousands of dollars in repairs within two years that we paid, and at three years still having major issues so they are no longer servicing is beyond unprofessional. read more

Here is a story: Today (Tue. 10/25/2022) I got the service from Texas Comfort Air (Technician's name is Eric.). I was really satisfied because he was diligently searching for what the solution for an issue would be. He called Lennox to figure out the solution, but all the representatives were supporting other customers and he waited around 20 minutes on the phone. When he arrived at my house, it was around at 4:30PM and it was almost 5:00PM when he called Lennox. So, he told me that he would call again tomorrow morning and fix the issue tomorrow. Then, he left my house. Later, surprisingly he returned to my house with the solution and fixed the issue. Hooray! I was really surprised by this because I have never had this kind of service from vendors before. If you need any service related to air conditioner, this is, I think, the right vendor for you! read more

AC unit fan went out. They were able to fix it the same day they came out to look at it. Very courteous and willing to explain in detail the issue and to where I am able to understand. I was most pleased that the techs explained every aspect of replacing my entire unit. They told me the difference in unit brands and SEERs. They recommended a brand and SEER for my replacement; and it wasn't the highest most expensive available. I was very skeptical at first. But as they progressed and kept me informed , I felt more confident. They were very honest with me. A couple of times parts didn't arrive timely or got damaged in transport. They always kept me abreast and even compensated me for the inconvenience! What other company does that???? They always arrived at there scheduled time. A couple of times I was not home and they even waited for me to get there. Whenever I had questions about something about my new unit, they always responded, most times in person. I like that they are personable and hands on with their customer service. And the icing on the cake was the price! The price was very affordable for the level of professional installation and workmanship I received. I don't recall how I found them, but me and my wallet are happy that we did! I was impressed by Texas Comfort Air, and I don't impress easily. My 15 year old AC had broken down for the last time, so i shopped around for several estimates. TCA was cheapest, but I liked their professionalism and response speed, so they did the install. Special kudos to their receptionist, she was in constant contact with me with updates on the service call. They found a different brand that was equal in value and warranty to the one quoted, which in itself is admirable with the industry shortages, and showed up the next day. The install looks like it was smooth; I'm no expert, but it also looks very well installed. Time will tell on that part, I guess. I know I'm comparing a modern system to a 15 year old one, but I am truly impressed by how well it cools in near 100 degree days. The install crew was knowledgeable, fast, and respectful of my house and inhabitants. The only con was that I didn't get a receipt for my payment until the following morning, which was a very minor ding. Overall, I would definitely call these guys again. read more
