They took the time to thoroughly clean the condenser and ran multiple tests on the attic unit to make sure everything was operating as it should. What really stood out was how they walked me through the entire process at the end, showing photos and explaining each step. It gave me a lot of confidence in their work and attention to detail. I'm very happy with this company and would highly recommend them.

**1/5 Stars - Big Waste of Time (and almost a lot of money)**…read moreI wanted to like Service Wizard, but my experience with them was incredibly frustrating. My AC condensation pipe was completely backed up and needed to be flushed. Their tech arrived on time and seemed very professional, spending about an hour and a half working on the unit and inspecting everything inside and out. However, he couldn't find where the evaporator line exited the house. His solution? Install an external pump and run a whole new drain line. The rough estimate for that was, well, a hell of a lot more than the $15 fee they charged me just to come out and take a look. When he left, I still had the exact same broken AC, was stressing over an exorbitant bill to fix it, and somehow found out I'd been signed up for a $15-a-month service plan that entitled me to another check-up in six months just in time for winter. Hoping to just get it resolved, I reached out to Service Wizard via Yelp later that evening to see if they could come back today to do the work the tech recommended. I never got a response. Frustrated, I called a different AC company. They actually answered the phone, sent technicians out right on time today, and those guys spent **five minutes** at my house before finding the external line, repairing it, and flushing my system. Problem completely solved in under five minutes, and the fee was incredibly cheap compared to the massive quote I got from Service Wizard. I will definitely be canceling my $15-a-month contract with Service Wizard and won't be recommending them going forward. Save yourself the headache and call someone else!

I had really high hopes after my first interaction with the owner of this company. I called to…read moreschedule an estimate for my AC that was making a weird noise and not cooling. He was one of the few people that took the time to ask questions and explain some possible causes to me. Better yet, he said he could come look at it that afternoon. I took off work early to meet him, and was instead met by a pair of young men who didn't look like they were even out of high school yet. They opened the machine up, made a repair and a comment about how, although the noise was annoying, it should still cool. After explaining it wasn't cooling, they went out and found two more things wrong. I asked them to inspect my ductwork while they were there and was told they'd return a couple days later to replace parts and inspect and measure the ductwork. When they returned, I was told they didn't bring coveralls to do the inspection--even though they were supposed to--and so they would have to come back a third time to do that part. After waiting a week and hearing nothing, I reached out to get scheduled and got no reply. I waited another couple weeks and reached out and again and got no reply. As the icing on the cake, I had to hire a different company to come out and finish the repairs and was told that the part that Southwestern installed was installed incorrectly, was broken, and I'd now need to pay a second time to have it replaced, AGAIN. This company is incompetent and unprofessional. Highly disappointed and will share my experience with others seeking AC repair work at every opportunity.
