So, my 85 year old Dad had an accident at Hwy 6 North and Keith Harrow around 5:15 pm on a weekday…read moreand it was a fender bender per the Harris County Deputy who showed up, still since he had struck a delivery van zipping by as he merged to far right lane it was not drivable. A very friendly tow truck driver, Jeremy from a nearby business First Auto Storage came by and the deputy let him take the car and my Dad to Lone Star Auto as no one was hurt. There he was met by Melissa the nice receptionist and the owner Sean Kamil who helped him as he was still shaken from his first accident that he had caused in over 30 years. Jeremy even gave him a ride home. Over the next week I worked with Sean to ensure that they would do a thorough job to bring the car to it's original look and drivability since the front right fender was badly damaged , passenger door and back door also not opening as before and damaged. My AAA Auto insurance which we have had for 20+ years was talking about totaling the vehicle but I convinced them that we should get it fixed. Sean was sure they could bring it back to its original condition ! Well it took many calls to the adjusters and the physical condition specialist who approved the repairs online based on the excellent reputation this shop carries and that though AAA insurance doesn't consider them in their " MTR network" still they were certified by many other car manufacturers and other top insurance companies. So, it took a few weeks extra but the work came out excellent and our Lexus RX 350 drives as good as before the accident. Between Sean K, Melissa and Tony Z ,the manager this shop does high quality jobs both for the body work and mechanically. When you work with good folks who go out of their way to do the right thing, things work out this way! P.S. We had our windshield wiper fluid bottle not holding the fluid and we took it back to them a month later and they replaced the broken seal on it as the container wasn't cracked as another Lexus service shop had told us it might be as the reason it wasn't working properly.

I changed oil, changed filters and did wheel alignment. The work was completed on time, and the pricing felt fair for the quality provided. It's not always easy to find a trustworthy auto shop, but this is definitely one I'd recommend.

1 Star -- Extremely Poor Experience…read more From start to finish, this was not a pleasant experience at all. I dropped off my brand-new Toyota Tundra at Caliber Collision after a minor accident that required the rear to be replaced due to a bend. I was told the repair would take two weeks. Instead, it took over a month because they ordered the wrong parts three separate times. When I finally picked up the truck, the check engine light immediately came on. I took it to the Toyota dealership, where they found that a hose had not been connected, causing an air leak. I had to pay $180 out of pocket just for the diagnostic. I brought the truck back to Caliber Collision, and they kept it for another month to fix the issue--again delayed because they were ordering incorrect parts. During that time, they did provide a rental, which shows they acknowledged their mistake. After waiting five more weeks, I picked up the truck only to find that the rear was not installed properly and is visibly sticking out. Now I'm expected to bring it back again, leave my vehicle for another full day or two, and be without transportation once more. Throughout this entire process: * No proactive phone calls * No updates * No apologies * No accountability I had to call weekly just to find out what was happening with my own vehicle. This has been a complete waste of time and extremely frustrating. Even if your insurance covers the repair, the lack of workmanship, communication, and customer service makes this place not worth it. They still don't seem to understand the impact of repeated mistakes and delays. Beware. I would not recommend Caliber Collision to anyone.
