Hair drama is a full service salon - extensions, color, and cut. Donna is so fun, a genuine sweetheart, and a great listener. You know, the kind you can tell anything to and without judgement from her. Is she one of the the cheapest in town? No, but I did that in college and learned my lesson after one very bad haircut! LOL She is competitively priced, and based on her years of experience I consider her services a great value. I trust her implicitly, and when I want a different cut or color I give her full reign to do what she thinks is best. She is truly an artist! Donna never tries to sell you services or products you don't need! She's never about the money. She's about making you leave completely happy about your experience and feeling great about your hair.

My wife has been coming here for a few years seeing the same stylist. It makes a difference when…read moreyou feel comfortable with the abilities of your stylist. I came in here to get my simple shave all over my head. This was done expertly and thoroughly; the hot towel treatment during my shampoo was excellent as well. You may need to make a reservation as this place can get hooked quickly.

But, it obviously was. I left with the most uneven bob looking trash haircut I've ever had. I tried contacting Cecelia the owner to see if she could help me out and maybe fix it or something. I finally made an appointment with another salon to fix the mess. I've called 4 times, and emailed, I did get a call from the girl that did the bad job basically calling me a liar talking about bangs and that was not the issue. 8 days later I finally get a call from the owner Cecelia and she didn't care at all. She said she would try to fix it but, I already had an appointment elsewhere and honestly don't trust them to do it. Then she just hung up on me. Save your time, money and hair and stay far away from this place!

How can I ever get my hair cut or colored anywhere else?? Rylee does my hair and she's just the best. The best! She listens to you. She asks meaningful questions, manages your expectations, and then gives you what you want. When I told her I wanted my hair as blonde as possible without turning it into straw, she gave it to me. The color was beautiful and still is, plus it's growing out really well. And I don't even dread going to my next appointment (I traditionally dread any upcoming appointment), I'm actually looking forward to it. The vibe at Renata is casual and comfortable and fun. You can tell the stylists enjoy one another and what they do. It's overall just an enjoyable atmosphere in the coolest setting ever, a multi-story Victorian home complete with charming creaky wooden stairs and old fireplaces.

It is still the same format by appointments which is how I schedule my haircuts by checking with her availability for setting up a haircut. I have not gotten a haircut in 3 months given this covid19 environment, so once the stay home mandate was lifted, I scheduled right away. The eaae of scheduling was super easy and fast even given this covid19 environment. Being a super clean freak myself, you can rest assured with peace of mind that Lindsay has taken all the safety precautions by wearing a mask herself, sanitization practices and asking you to wear a mask too as looking out for everyone's safe health which is her wonderful customers and herself too. One thing I sincerely appreciate about her is given my busy schedule from work to literally working out is that she is flexible on scheduling so there is the cool fantastic customer service personalization that you get with her versus say those chain haircut places. Her extensive knowledge of styling hair is complementary to her excellent customer service from scheduling to make sure you get that eye-catching, head turning haircut/styling hair for men and women. My haircut looked and felt fantastic!!! Like I said in my past reviews of her hair styling, it can be for regular timely haircuts like in my case or special occasions such as proms, birthdays, traditional weddings, dates, or just want to look sexy as hell for any occasions. Lindsay will make you stand out with her styling your hair or haircut. I included some pics that she sent me on what she can do, so those aren't pics that I took but rather what she can do for you. I recently saw on my IG feed the salons pics and some of the women who have had cuts there. They had pretty cool hair so I was like hey, let's try this place for my wife. I booked her appt on yelp Saturday morning on the 13th through the book now option. I was like wow! Got a time for today, and a good early time. Was pleased with how seamless this was. Wife was happy appt was set. Things were great. Keep in mind my wife has had bad luck with haircuts and has been dying for a haircut and looking forward to it. Later that day before the appt I got an email saying it was canceled and moved to the 18th at like 3pm. I tried calling several times that day. No answer. Nothing. Straight to vm of a lady that doesn't even say that she's with the salon. This I think Tuesday or Wednesday I finally am able to get a hold of someone I forget if I called or they called me. Rebooked the appt for today 10/8 5pm which was great cause I'd get home watch the kids, and my wife could relax and get her hair done. Now to today 10/18 I get a call informing me the lady I spoke with booked me "for the wrong day" and that we needed to resched tomorrow. Seriously....... so this is my first impressions with a business. 1 canceled app, 1 rescheduled app, and then a "I'm sorry we booked you the wrong day" Poor customer service, Yelp "book an appointment" function is worthless if they don't have their appt books aligned with it, no one working the phones apparently on weekends which is pretty weak from a financial stand point for future clients. And on top of that I will tell you and everyone else looking for a haircut to avoid BEENE AND COMPANY and take your money elsewhere. UPDATE***** today the manager Shelly reached out to me, took responsibility for the mix up and changes and offered my wife a chance to come back at 50% off for service. Shelly didn't try and shuck and jive. She apologized. Very admirable. My wife didn't feel comfortable going back to a place to have someone work on her hair after we had given a poor review, understandable. I do thank Shelly for reaching out to me to make this right. I have updated the rating to 3 stars in light of all of this.
