Never had a bad haircut or experience with any of the barbers. Jason is my regular. Knows exactly what I need every time.

Walked at 2pm. Ben said he didn't have a slot open till 3pm(place was empty). I mentioned, I would try somewhere else. I walked out the door and came back a few minutes later saying I was willing to wait, he mentioned if he would cut my hair if his next slot didn't arrive in five minutes. Three minutes went by and he told me to jump on the chair. He cut my hair overall it was a good hair cut but I ask if he could trim by beard after he was the with the hair cut and he said no he had someone else slotted in, place was empty. Now I have to go get my beard trim somewhere else. read more

Good haircuts, terrible scheduling. As someone who has worked customer service jobs for the majority of my life it pains me to give someone a bad review, however two of the three times I've been here have been a disappointment in regards to scheduling. Today I had an appointment at 8:30 am which I showed up for about 10 minutes early. As I sat down Nicole finished with her current customer and had another gentleman take the seat. I thought maybe he was getting a clean up which should only take about 15 minutes. Come 9 o'clock and he is finishing up. I have to go to work. I ask if she can squeeze me in later to which the only available time is 9:30. I'm obviously frustrated and leave with a simple "I'm sorry." I want to go back here as I like the work they do but if I make an appointment and still can't get my haircut then what's the point? read more

I don't often leave reviews but I think praise is due when it is deserved. I went into this shop to get a cut and straight razor shave just because I deserved it. I was given May as my barber and I have to say she gave me one of the best shaves and cuts I have ever had. I am always nervous about trying new places but I have never been given more compliments after the cut and shave May gave me! She isn't much of a talker (something else I also appreciate) but she was so detailed with the cut and shave. It was amazing. I know where I'm going from now on and who I'm asking for. I was in town for work and really needed a cut. I looked on Yelp and found several places that seemed too "mainstream" for my liking and was told it would take over a week for an appointment and I would only get a 30 minutes window. That's just not how I like to do hair cuts. These guys took me right in. The ambiance was cool, small kinda rustic but in a new building without all the product lining the walls and getting shoved down your throat. Reese did my hair and even though he is new, he took his time and gave me a great cut. He also made some great recommendations for dive bars and good eats. After 6-8 months of growing my hair out and getting an undercut on the sides, my barber Decided to ignore my simple request to slightly thin out the top and put an undercut on the sides (with pictures). I now look forward to wearing a hat for 3-4 months while my rhino-horn/Gerber baby combover grows back. Farewell full head of thick, dark hair. Now home to a horn with buzzed sides, half the top and back. I've always wanted to look like I'm balding, especially while I'm not. Not returning, or recommending this place for anything other than simple blending on the sides. maybe my hair won't look awful next summer. read more

Reserved a slot for 1230 under Tom to get a hair cut and arrived early at 12:15. I have an hour break from lunch and I figured that was more than enough time to get a haircut, especially since I made an appointment. At 1250 I left because my break was essentially over and he had just begun working on the next client in front of me. I wonder how long that man had waited....Suggestion, as a business, don't have available time slots to reserve if you are running behind this drastically. This review is solely on my experience there, not the services/haircuts as I never got to the chair. I was really excited about getting my beard cleaned up and lined up as I read all the great reviews. I called at about 4:50 and I was told there's one person waiting besides me if I show up. I show up within 5 minutes and see that there are two barbers cutting (1st and 2nd chair) I am the only one waiting. Chair 1 gets done at about 5:20pm while chair 2 is still cutting, barber 1 tells me that barber 2 would take care of me since he has an appointment; I say "OK". It is now 5:40pm and barber 1 is still there just walking around, barber 2 tells me "I'll take care of you man, don't worry about that, thanks for waiting" I saw "ok thanks". 5:50 comes around and Barber 1 is still there doing random things but somehow hasn't left for "his appointment" I then run out of patience and realize I do not want to wait any longer so decide to leave... I didn't want to be rude so I just said "I'll come back tomorrow". I wasted an hour waiting while one barber was just walking around, it seemed to me he just didn't want to trim my beard or something. Barber 2 seemed to be a cool dude and I could tell he really takes his time but unfortunately I didn't get to experience that. 2 things I learned about this shop, if you plan on going plan on being on the chair for about an hour on top of whatever you have to wait to get on the chair, #2 Stick to my barbershop no matter how good another one seems to be. I will say I was very excited about getting my beard hooked up here, sadly it never happened and most likely never will. P.S As I was walking outBarber #2 (daymien I believe?) said "I'll hook you up for free if you come back tomorrow" but I much rather pay for services than get them free as I love to support local small businesses. read more
